What a plot twist.... To discover you aren't who you thought you were...

A wild ride in this super sexy and attention getting story. I loved getting to know Hayden and Tate and the many twists that Ms. Lemmon threw in kept the pages turning.

Christmas Seduction by Jessica Lemmon is the 4th book in the Bachelor Pact series. Finding out your family isn't your own can send you in a tailspin and you just may take comfort in places or people you never would have imagined. This book has so many genres or tropes wrapped into one.

Tate needs a fiance to replace the one that left when his life got to complicated. He needs this pretend fiance to meet his new family as his fiance. Once the chemistry implodes so does his new ruse. This book will keep you greatly entertained as well as give you that great holiday feel.

Christmas Seduction is the fourth book in Jessica Lemmon’s The Bachelor Pact series. In order to enjoy this book, you don’t have to read the previous three books. You do, however, have to read the third book, One Night, White Lies.

Weeks ago, Tate Duncan’s world was turned upside-down with the discovery that he was adopted. His fiancee has left him and he’s in the middle of an identity crisis. The bright light in his upside-down life is yoga instructor Hayden Green. When his newly discovered brother invites him to London to meet their parents for Christmas, Tate convinces Hayden to join him and pretend to be his fiancee.

Christmas Seduction was a good story. The characters were all likable and great. Tate has had to take on a lot. Throughout the book, I felt sorry for him for that. But at the same time, it seems like he handled things well until he didn’t. The woe is me act he tried to pull really wasn’t him. As far as endings go, I really LOVED the ending of this story. It had me smiling long after I was done reading the book. I highly recommend Christmas Seduction.

*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*

'Christmas Seduction' by Jessica Lemmon is book four of The Bachelor Pact series. It is the first book for the series I've read. I really like seasonal romances because they tend to be sweet, fun, quick reads but Christmas Seduction packed more punch then I was expecting.

Tate has just found out that his parents are not his parents at all. Not only was Tate adopted but he was kidnapped and had another family, one who thought he was dead, on the other side of the world. Now he is heading to London to meet the family he never knew existed. His fiancé has left him not wanting to deal with the new found drama in his live so he asks his friend (with benefits) Hayden to go with him.

'Christmas Seduction' is fairly predictable when it comes to romance. It is the type of thing I, and all romance readers have seen a million times. Two people blatantly in love but emotionally shut down due to issues with family etc etc. It is nothing new in that department. Hayden and Tate have very good chemistry and Lemmon sure knows how to write some steamy scenes but it is all familiar territory.

What I really liked about this book was the secondary storyline about Tate's situation. His arrival in London and his interaction with his family was interesting and genuinely touching. I could of done with a hundred more pages about that and a hundred less of the romance, alas this is after all a Harlequin Desire novel and romance is the objective. Still this small twist on the usual Christmas snog fest fare made 'Christmas Seduction' stand out for the crowd and offered some real emotional depth. I recommend it to romance readers.

Christmas Seduction is published by Harlequin Desire and was released on October 1st 2019.

I admit I am not always the biggest fan of holiday themed books...but, this was Jessica Lemmon, so I knew it was one I was going to enjoy, holiday theme or not.

Tate and Hayden were fun. Their chemistry, their connection, the way they interacted and who they were as people was enjoyable. I loved how supportive she was of him and his rather sticky family situation and I absolutely enjoyed reading about them working it out.

I enjoyed this title (just like I suspected I would) and I recommend it.

CHRISTMAS SEDUCTION is the fourth book in Jessica Lemmon’s “Bachelor Pact” series. Although this is the fourth book in the series, I was able to follow along and enjoy this story without having read the previous ones. However, after reading CHRISTMAS SEDUCTION, I am eager to go back and read those earlier books. To many in Spright Wellness Community, Tate Duncan is not only the founder of the community, but a wealthy and attractive powerhouse whose life is as close to perfect as possible. What not many people know is that Tate’s world has been in chaos since learning about the circumstances of his adoption, and since discovering a twin brother he never knew about. It’s when he’s at this crossroads that he and local yoga instructor Hayden Green find each other.

This story is told from alternating perspectives, so you get a window into Tate’s inner turmoil as he tries to sort out his life. The passion between Hayden and Tate flares up suddenly but the relationship seems to develop very organically. Initially I thought Hayden’s emotional baggage from her dysfunctional family would act as an obstacle in their relationship, but it’s Tate’s issues that come between them. Jessica Lemmon always keeps things sexy and it balances the emotional drama. A lot of things are thrown at Tate in CHRISTMAS SEDUCTION, but he tries to not let everything rattle him, and to treat Hayden well. Unfortunately, Tate almost screws up epically. I like how Hayden is tough and sticks up for herself and her way of life. These two characters might have an unexpected romance, but they end up complementing each other very well.

CHRISTMAS SEDUCTION is full of Christmas fun, sexy shenanigans, and drama that pulls at your heartstrings. I love Hayden’s friends and would love to read stories about them in the future. Jessica Lemmon has a knack for weaving strong friendships into her stories. I look forward to reading Jessica Lemmon’s next book.

Tate receives a blow when he finds that his entire life has been based on a lie. A successful architect of a wellness community near Seattle he seeks to cushion the blow. Enter Hayden who is a yoga instructor in the community. Little did Hayden know that when she invited Tate into her home out of the rain it would be the start of a relationship.
Soon she is winging to England with Tate to meet Tate's birth parents posing as his fiancé. This relationship that starts under false pretenses starts to feel real pretty soon as Tate's twin brother and his significant other and Tate's birth parents welcome her into their home.
So how will it all end? it does come together for a happy ending given this is a romance after all but they do travel some interesting diversions before it all comes together.
Ms. Lemmon does contemporary romance very well and this book is no exception.

Tate's world seems to crashing down around him when it comes to his family life. Hayden manages to catch him on his weaker moments and lends him and ear. They never expected attraction. With the Holidays comes up he convinces her to be there for him and go with him to meet his birth parents as his fiance. Thing only get heated up between the two as they spend this holiday season around eachother.

I absolutely loved the fact that this book had so much going on for the holiday season. It wasn't something that was briefly mentioned as they went on about in their lives. There was plenty going on to keep the readers hooked. I loved getting to know both Tate and Hayden's characters, they were so different with family lives, up bringing and everything and liked getting to know them. Then there was the attraction, romance and steamy scene which was well written as well. Overall this is a pretty great book. I would recommend you lovely readers to put this on your holiday tbr.

Tate and Hayden’s story was a one day at a time romance that turned into forever. They had a friendship and great chemistry going for them, even though Tate was going through turmoil. Both his families were wonderful and tears were shed while reading. A wonderful way to tie up the series.

CHRISTMAS SEDUCTION is book four in Jessica Lemmon's The Bachelor Pact series and brings us the story of a real estate developer and a yoga instructor in what just might be my favorite of the series! Emotions are high, tension is pounding and a happily-ever-after occurs just when they least expect it.

Tate obviously caught our attention in the previous book when we learned of his existence and were thrown for a loop with his back story. This book really gets to the heart and soul of how he's feeling now that his world has been turned upside down. He's a really great character and I enjoyed him very much.

Hayden is a bit complex. She's very zen and seems in control of her universe in so many ways, but the backlash of family expectations and drama are a drain to her emotions. Meeting Tate and starting a bit of a fling just when they are both feeling a bit raw seems innocent enough ... until emotions start to connect and they're in for more than they ever bargained for.

I highly recommend this story, and to get a full connection to all of the players, I recommend you play catch up and read all of the series in order. They are all fast paced and delightful with a strong backdrop of friendship, family and sexy romance. It's been a great series!

Tate Duncan was delivered a blow a few weeks ago after he learned that his childhood held some secrets even his adopted parents weren't aware of. His personal life takes another hit when his fiancee breaks off their engagement, too.

One thing Tate does have is his work. Specifically the wellness community he put all his hopes, dreams, and effort into making a reality is thriving. One resident, Hayden Green, needed the change to her personal life and decided that moving and opening her own yoga studio is just what she needed to get away from her toxic family situation.

Tate and Hayden have crossed paths before, but now Tate is taking another look, and once together they click, but with everything Tate has recently gone through is adding a new relationship to the mix what he needs?

I was a little on the fence about starting this one. I've just gotten into the fall groove with my reading, I wasn't necessarily ready to head into Christmas yet. But I'd say the holiday themes are pretty light. In fact, I felt like the fake fiancee trope which is touted in the book blurb wasn't as big a proponent of the story as I imagined it would be.

Instead, I really liked digging into Tate's life more. After the surprising turn of events the previous book (One Night, White Lies) took I'm happy that Tate got his story. Really, I loved the way Jessica Lemmon handled the whole situation. In the way that, yes, it Tate's path in life was hugely derailed - not to mention his sense of identity - but he begins to question everything about himself and his (adoptive) parents. You completely feel that sense of adriftness in Tate's life, but you also feel how he wants to get back on a path. I loved that it wasn't really a big momentous occasion that brings Tate back, but instead it's the little things, the day to day. Familiarizing himself with the new normal.

I really loved Hayden as Tate's match. She's a veritable well of strength and she's built everything on her own time, her own terms. Having come from a toxic family, I appreciated that she understood the idea of only being able to control so much of a situation. One this she could certainly control were her own actions and decisions. She didn't have to answer to any one else. I think she was just perfect for Tate.

Overall, you can't really go wrong with Jessica Lemmon. She delivers time and time again, and while it seems that the bachelor pact series is closed, I'm excited to see what she has in store for us next.

Tate Duncan gets thrown for a big huge loop when he finds out he was kidnapped at a toddler and his parents aren't really his parents. This all goes down in book three in this series but is reintroduced in this book so readers aren't lost wondering what's up. His fiance leaves him high and dry saying she didn't sign up for the drama. In the midst of sorting out the mess his life had become he meets Hayden. To Tate Hayden in a beacon of light. Hayden has her own family problems and Tate is totally out of her wheelhouse. These two are very different but very good together. Tate was in serious need of a anchor and Hayden does that for him. Of course it almost all goes to crap until a certain someone finally sees the light. Wonderful book with great characters for a enjoyable night of reading.

I really had trouble getting into the book initially and getting caught up in the emotions of the characters. The storyline was good, but it just didn’t stand out in my mind amongst other books in the genre. The blurb was great, but overall the book just fell flat for me.

So glad this series was continued- could read about the group of friends and family in this series anytime! Hope to see more books with them in the future. We get the long believed to be dead twin's story as he follows his journey after discovering he had been kidnapped and adopted when he was 3. Now meeting his bio family and a new relationship, finding his way to the new "normal" includes romance along the way.

Jessica Lemmon is a favorite author of mine and I have yet to read anything of hers that I did not really enjoy! This book is not exception and I fell in love with Hayden and Tate very quickly.

Hayden had given up everything she had worked so hard for to move to a small town and teach yoga. Hayden lives upstairs from where her studio is so she only has a small space for her own. Once night when it is pouring down rain, she sees the infamous Tate Duncan, standing outside of her studio. Hayden goes to let Tate in and she can tell that something is very wrong with Tate. Hayden knows that Tate is engaged so she can't imagine what is going on with him, and where is Claire?

Tate was an only child and everything had been going his way. He was engaged to Claire, had a nice place to live, everything was pretty much taken care of for him, until he found out about his real life. Tate was adopted, but he didn't know that there was so much more to the circumstances surrounding his adoption. Tate decides that he wants to go meet his birth parents and ends up asking Hayden to go with him to be his support for when he does meet his birth family. Hayden has always wanted to go to London so she doesn't balk at the chance to go with Tate.

This couple will leave you longing for more of their adventures and their steamy chemistry that sizzles off the pages. Tate and Hayden could melt the snow with their sexiness and chemistry. You will not want to put this one down until you have finished it. This was a quick read for me and I devoured it quickly. Thanks Jessica Lemmon for a great read!

All opinions are my own and voluntary. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book.

Tate's whole world has turned upside down since he found out that he was taken from his birth parents at age 3. Even though a very nice couple adopted him, it was a shock finding out what happened and that he's got a twin brother. It's Christmas time but with his identity crisis, Tate's not feeling the holiday spirit. He knows his parents love him but will his birth parents be proud of the man he's become? Tate told them he was engaged but now that he's visiting them in London, he needs to come up with a fake fiancé. Local business owner, Hayden, is sympathetic to his plight and pretty soon the fake romance isn't so fake after all. I really enjoyed this holiday romance!

Tate has to ask very specific questions to make sure he understands his woman right, “you want to have *** with me?” he growled." Hayden is just quite honet, “I don’t wear anything under my yoga pants.” Great. He could never take a class from her again without embarrassing himself." I liked this book, I loved Tate.
