This is a short read and lighthearted.

I enjoyed reading this book but didn’t find it to be the page turner I hope for.
It took a lot longer to finish than it should have.
Natalie is getting to know herself again after her divorce in a three year marriage. She is determined to be where she wants to be at work and is equally determined to live that single life. It’s been awhile since she had a good no strings attached relationship. With her two friends being newly single as well she is ready for all the fun they can get into together! She talked them in to going to a break-up bash and is excited to start her life again. That’s when her eyes catch that solid hot AF man tending the bar every girl in the place was all over him, time to put her flirting skills to the test!!!
That bar tender is SEXY Rome who has no interest in being any of those ladies rebound man from the newly end of their relationship. All the ladies are practically throwing themself at him. But then there is Natalie with her pretty looks and confidence to go with them he cant help himself with her and that’s how one thing leads to the other ;)

Rome wants a relationship he is just trying to find creative ways to make Natalie want that also at least for a little while. Rome also has things in his past he is still trying to get over.
They both have no idea that each other is exactly what the other needs to move forward.

This was a cute book.

An exciting lighter read with just a bit of everything! So there are rules to a rebound--who knew? LoL, love didn't get that message either.
Loved Rome, he seemed to be the real deal and a hottie to boot, even tho he was dealing with what he thought was his past failure, he was still sweet!
Natalie had a lot of rules, maybe a bit off from reality, but she was trying to stay away from emotions. I wouldn't be so forgiving if she hadn't just had a mega ton of crap dealt to her.
Anyway rules are made to be broken and I sighed a very happy sigh at the end when these two figured out what's really important in the scheme of life! I really enjoyed reading this!
I received an advance reader's copy thru Netgalley and am leaving my honest thoughts voluntarily.

Rules of Rebound is the second book in the Breakup Bash series, but it can be read as a standalone. I didn’t feel like I missed anything by not reading the first book. The book was well written and fast paced. It was one of those books that once you start you can’t lay the book down (or turn off your e-reader). I loved the characters and especially Rome. He was so sweet and caring even though he was scared he was a “rebound” romance for Natalie. Natalie and Rome found their HEA but they had personal issues they had to overcome first. This was a great book if you are looking for a sweet, fast paced romance. I hope there will be another book in the series so Cori can find her HEA.

This was a fun, easy read. Nina Crespo did well to highlight relationship quandaries and to develop the different levels of chemistry with her characters at a natural pace. The story-line was intriguing and entertaining. Everything a book of this genre should be. 4 stars.

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read that had an appropriate pace. I liked that the issues seemed "real". There were parts where a reader would be like, "That would never happen to me!" There was just enough angst to keep me going. Both main characters were believable. The sex scenes were hot. If you are looking for a quick sexy read then this is the book for you.

Rules of Rebound by Nina Crespo a fast paced five-star read. This is number two in the Breakup Bash series, but I didn’t think I missed anything not reading number one first, however I will be going back to pick it up as I adored this one!! Rome Collier is great, he is such a deep man, he has his scars both on the inside and out, but he is still a strong man. Natalie needs the strength of Rome even if she doesn’t want to admit it. This is a great story and Nina Crespo is definitely going to be one of those authors that you need in your life.

I want to be Natalie!!!

Natalie is a very strong woman who is coming out of a really bad situation. She is strong, focused, driven and for one night just wanting to let her hair down and forget about her life. This is where she meet Rome. Rome was just suppose to be a delicious distraction but it turned into more. I loved that she owned herself and took what she wanted. The confidence she had was amazing to read.

Rome is a man who is just coasting in life. His last job made him question himself and what he wants out of life. In the mean time, he is just working and getting by. Until one night when he meets a woman who is unlike anyone he has met before. She makes him start to question his path and what he wants out of life.

Reading about these two navigating the beginning of a relationship and testing the waters to see if a rebound could become forever.

I loved Rome and Natalie's love story. I felt bad that Rome couldn't see himself as the hero that he is.
I will be asking all my friends to read, Rules of a Rebound, just so we can talk about it.

2.5 stars
I am gonna be honest, I didn't love this book. I never really felt any connection for Natalie and Rome. At times, I found Natalie annoying.

Natalie and Rome meet when he is bartending at an event for the newly single that she is attending after her divorce. They have an instant connection but Natalie doesn’t want to rush into anything after getting out of her marriage. When Natalie faces a difficult situation Rome steps in to help and they start spending more and more time together. This book was a nice distraction after a busy day. Rome was the type of genuinely nice hero that you wish you could meet in real life. The conflict between the two of them seemed a bit forced to me as if the author decided the story needed more drama and this was all she could come up with.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Rules of a Rebound by Nina Crespo is quick, fun, sexy and sweet romance. Natalie and Roman have the most intense and perfect chemistry from the first second they meet. You are rooting for them the entire time because they are just perfect for each other. Roman was so sweet and caring. Natalie has been hurt but you could see she was still hopeful in finding her soulmate. The dialogue was on point and I never found the story lacking in any way, there was a bit of drama, some self-discovery and some steamy scenes. I haven’t read the other books in the Breakup Bash series but I can promise I will be reading them soon. This book releases on August 12, 2019.

This series is getting better with each book! I loved Natalie and Rome. She's slightly in distress after they meet, but she also holds her own and does what she needs to do. He wants to protect her, while also dealing with his own insecurities. Together, they show each other what love really is!
