This is an outstanding book! It not just a sugar fast, it's a fast from anything that you put before God. I was amazed at how many things I was putting before God. It was an eye-opener for me. This book is wonderfully written and a necessary read for every Christian in today’s modern world with so many distractions and modern idols of the heart! Being enriched daily in God’s Word is the only way to be in close communion to the Savior as “a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.” Fasting is humbling and causes our hearts to seek after the One Who made us and causes us to see Him in a new and glorious way otherwise we may not.
