This looks like a cute book but once again, it was not available in kindle format and would not download. The publisher needs to state this in the area where you request, please.

This is another book in the Dear Dragon series that is simple for kids who are just learning how to read to follow! The repetition and simple wording are easy to follow, and the pictures that match the words (especially the glossary listing the animals) was a nice touch! The Word Work part at the end, that let kids practice their words was also a good addition! !

This is a book for children who are just starting to read independently. The beginning of the book shows all of the vocabulary words that are to follow. The text has repetition to reinforce learning. Around this, there are all of the farm animals. Children will enjoy meeting these critters with Dear Dragon. They will take pride in being able to read this book independently.

At the end of book there is a section called Word Work that reinforces the learning. There is also a suggested activity of drawing a farm.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this book in exchange for an honest review.

While this book does not tell a story it does a great job to teach children different animal and what they look like. This is a great learning to read book.

Very cute book to teach kids about farm animals. The illustrations are simple, nothing stunning, but they are pleasant and seem effective for teaching kids to recognize different animals. The dragon adds a nice whimsical element

This is the cutest book about a dragon that visits a farm. It is a beginning reader book and a great book to teach children about farm animals. The illustrations are bold and colorful and will hold the attention of any child. The face of the dragon is not scary and quite cute. Dragon gets to see a cow, pig, cat, dog, goat and more on his visit. In the front of the book is a picture glossary of all the animal and sight words. At the end of the book is word work and an activity. I recommend this book for ages 2+.

I read this book this morning with my daughter and she enjoying saying the names of the animals that were seen at the farm and pointing them out to me. The book is quite basic but for her it was fine and she liked the images too. Three stars for this one
