A Warm Friendship is a beautifully illustrated book that helps children understand grief, loss and friendship in a very simple way.
The snowman is freezing and the animals bring him blankets and scarves to warm up. They spend winter playing and enjoying each other. When spring comes he melts and the little squirrel is heart broken. I loved the way death and grief were explained so simply.
