After the skeleton of the original owner of the house had been found in the walls of the house a few months back, some psychics descend on the hotel to try and make contact with Jedediah Biddeford’s ghost. But when one of the psychics is found murdered in the old family cemetery, Josie Waters, her cats Nero and Marlowe, her mother and her mothers best friend join forces to find the killer before Josie loses business and the guest house to the bank.

Leighann Dobbs always delivers a solid cozy and this series is no exception. The cats are my favorite characters in the book, because after all, they own Josie as their human, not the other way around. Seeing the cats using their cat buddies to help solve the case and communicating with Josie, Millie and Rose is adorable and a great addition to the cast of characters.

Looking forward to the next visit to Oyster Cove Guesthouse.

The Perfect Alibi is the third in this series and it doesn't disappoint. It is a nice cozy mystery with enjoyable characters and storyline.

Ok, so this book is better than the last one I read in this series. The story is good, as are the characters. The cats are woven in better than the previous story, it's not as stitled, but i still think the scenes when they met up with the other cats are jarring and unnecessary. I really enjoyed the interaction between the cats and the ghost. #ApurrfectAlibi #NetGalley
