This is the third book in a series and I loved it!

Second chances
First love
Small town
I found Finding Home Again to be a sweet read though not so much liking the hero in the story.
Overall, a ok read but not a favorite.

Bryce was every bit the strong independent woman that had only one heart to give. She could not conceal the pain of her heart, but she tried. She loved one man most of her life and he believed a lie. She could not forgive the pain that it caused her. She only wanted to move forward in her life. Kaegan was the one man for her, but she could not see pass the past to a future with him.

Kaegan knows that he love this woman. He knows that he would never be able to forget her. He needs to work on forgiving her. Or could it be he does not know the truth just the lie present. Sometimes life hands you a second chance to make the first one count towards that HEA.

This was the second of the series and no less heart involving. I loved Bryce and Kaegan both as individuals. They both provided clarity, friendship, and understand for their friends. Why could they not do it for each other? This was another adulting relationship that had its ups and downs but still gave a good story that did not follow a stale pattern. There was chances taken. Together these two were each others true home.

This was a story of second chances, forgiveness, friendship and romance. I really liked the characters in this story. The group of friends were so supportive of one another and very caring. They had such a strong friendship, one that everyone would love to have. Bryce's family was also very loving and supportive. There were times in the story that I was not very pleased with Kaegan's actions or responses, but knowing his past, it was easy to see why he was not always trusting. Of course, no romance can go easily, there has to be some angst and some hurdles to get over and this story had those

BJ knocked this one right out of the park! This story has much more than romance. I enjoy second chance romances. I felt Bryce's pain and frustration with Keagan. What I love most about BJ's novels is the way she weaves all the characters from other books seamlessly in new ones. I always feel like I'm visiting and catching up with old friends. This is a series not to be missed. There are a few cliche moments, but I overlooked them

This is the third book in the series and you finally get to know why the animosity between Bryce and Keagan is so heavy. The build of to their story has you ready and waiting to read this book. I enjoyed reading this book and getting to know the characters. One thing that stood out what how Mrs. Jackson used moments from Bryce and Keagan's childhood to remind them of what they once meant to each other and how much they depended on one another.

Bryce Witherspoon has loved Kaegan Chambray for as far back as she can remember, but as they got older, their relationship drifted over into relationship of the forever variety. However, crap hits the fan, and Kaegan isn't willing to trust Bryce enough to listen to her, and this is when the hatred for Kaegan started, because he was such a douche. Now there's only 10 years of hatred between the two, and while Bryce had every reason, Kaegan had none, especially since he seriously went out of his way to destroy her heart further the way he left town. Now he's back, and learns how utterly he screwed the pooch, but Bryce ain't having none of it, and I don't blame her one bit. This story had me so enraged it wasn't even funny. I can't state this enough, Kaegan was a total douche (and in my house, it's much louder & worse name calling of the colorful metaphor variety for real) & the things he said to her to hurt her, well, I just never got on board with him. They have the same chemistry of course, which unfortunately, didn't go away, so despite all of my protests, she decided on a "friends" (and I use that term loosely) with benefits, which she should have never let him touch her again. You can't say you love someone, then don't listen to them when crap hits the fan, especially a misunderstanding, so to hell with Kaegan all day everyday, and twice on Sunday! And I'm not saying anything else now, because I'll never stop ranting if I do, then ultimately I'll accidentally drop a spoiler or something. Now, I'm not the forgiving type, so all I ask is you decide for yourselves by one clicking! You NEVER know how you'll experience Finding Home Again because at the end of the day, Brenda Jackson got my emotions going at warp speed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Finding Home Again is Bryce and Keagan story of a second chance at love. We finally get to see them come full circle.

One thing we notice in the small town of Catalina Cove everyone is tight and look out for each other, but most of all they know how to keep secrets. Keagan and Bryce came from 2 different upbringings, which can be what brought them together and the very thing that separated them.

The memories and sparks are still very much alive after 10 years, it is their family, friends and a town incident for them to realize that enough time had been wasted. It takes a journey of uncovering hard truth and forgiveness to heal the hurt of the past.

If you enjoy reading connecting stories of love, diversity and suspense, then you will find this one interesting. I recommend this one for your reading pleasure.

Brenda Jackson knows how to write romances that capture her readers heart, and yet fill their hearts with heart stopping suspense. We finally get Keegan and Bryce’s story. I can’t wait to know their secrets.

Bryce Witherspoon is sweet, kind, intelligent and furiously loyal to the people who matter, but when hurt so deeply can she let go of that hurt to trust again? Bryce knew her feelings were on overload between love, hurt, passion and pain all that she felt involved Keegan. KGee the one person who was never far from her thoughts.

Keagan chambray return to Catalina Cove town to keep his family business going, only to discover he was not quite over the reason he left the quaint little town of Catalina Cove. I really like Keegan’s character he is down to earth and fun. Can Keegan let go of the past to find his future?

I adored Keegan and Bryce from book #1 Love in Catalina Cove in the Catalina Cove Series. Both having strong feelings from the past that keeps them at odds. Can there be any chance of them healing from the past, to give them a future? When it comes down to the unknowns to the heart anything is possible.

The supporting characters are amazing! I loved catching up with the families. I feel they gave Keegan and Bryce great positive support along with some fun moments. Giving Keegan a little back from the hard time he gave Sawyer and Ray was priceless. Finding Home Again plot is full of love, family, friends with a few plot twist thrown in to keep things interesting. Finding Home Againis yet another amazing read by Brenda Jackson. The characters are so full of life that I was easily entertained and intrigued. I must know will there be more to the Catalina Cove Series Ms. Jackson?

Rated 5 Stilettos and a Recommended Read by Deb!

I enjoyed having a Native American hero and Black heroine, which is a relatively rare pairing in romance. This is a second chance lover story where the couple are angry enemies for the first part of the book. I found the traditional gender roles confining, and Kaegan was too much of an alpha in search of a “ultra-feminine” woman for my taste.

I have seen books by Brenda Jackson before but have never read any. I did enjoy this book, the 3rd in a series and I will go back and read the previous 2. A second chance romance. Lots of misunderstanding and wasted time by 2 people who had been good friends and lovers in the past. A little bit hard to understand the reasons for the misunderstanding and finally a bit too easily solved. I did enjoy the little read. Thanks to Net Galley and the publisher for the opportunity.

I'm giving this one star because I have to, which is stupid, Netgalley, especially considering this was a DNF for me.

Thank you for the chance to read and review, Finding Home Again. This was my first Brenda Jackson book, and second chance romance is my jam, however, this one left me wanting. The info dump in the beginning was distracting, as were the character names "Kaegan" and "Bryce". One unique-ish name is enough but two is overkill. And there is nothing romantic about a man who "eases his pain" with any and every available woman he can find.

The story started slow and I almost stopped reading. The author kept harping on their past relationship and it seemed they would never forgive each other and move on although they both felt they had. Then the action started and the book was over.

If you can get through the first half hang in there, it does improve, but not one of my favorites.

I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher for my honest opinions.

Kaegan & Bryce were friends whose friendship turned into a romance until stubbornness, pride & a misunderstanding broke them apart. Now, they are both back in their hometown & doing the best to ignore each other.

I really enjoyed this story. It shows how misunderstandings can drive anyone apart if you don’t work them out. Once Bryce & Kaegan talked it out, they both see how their personality quirks helped to drive them apart. They were both insecure in their backgrounds, appearance & the relationship. The attraction stayed hot & intense over all the years. Very entertaining story that pulled me in from the beginning.

I was excited to finally learn Bryce and Kaegan's story. This book is also different from the previous two books and I really enjoyed that . Overall, a very good book and I can't wait for the next one.

I got to about 70% and then skimmed the rest to get to get a feel for what else happened and read the happy ending. Ms. Jackson writes delightful stores that are an escape. How we they often feel longer than necessary.

Finding Home Again, written by Brenda Jackson was an okay read. The story was fast-paced and the character somewhat believable. The third book in the Catalina Cove series, which can be read as a standalone. Find Bryce Witherspoon trying to move on from her relationship from Keagan. She still doesn’t know why Keagan broke it off with her, but when he returns to Catalina Cove old feels started to reemerge, though she denies it to herself and others.
Kaegan Chambray, knew when he returns to Catalina cove, sooner or later he must run into Bryce the only woman he loved, his one disappointment. He can’t deny when the old sparks are still there, but he’s not ready to have his heartbroken again.
I started to read this book because I was entertained to find out what broke these two apart. When I found out the reason, I almost broke my Kindle, good thing it hit the pillow instead of the wall. Misunderstanding will get you every time. A second chance romance with a bit of a mystery thrown in. Let Finding Home Again find a place in your heart.

This is the third book in a series and it did take me a bit to get invested in the story. There was some background given regarding the other couples in the story, whose stories were told in the previous books, but I wish I had read them first. Having said that, once I got into the story, I did enjoy it a lot.

Bryce and Kaegan were in love when they were teenagers and had been best friends since they were kids. Once they became a couple, they were apart due to school and the armed forces. When a misunderstanding occurs, Kaegan will not even listen to Bryce, this breaking them apart. Ten years later, they are living back in their hometown. The both have buried feelings about each other, but are still angry and do not want to move on them. They have the same circle of friends, who want them to get back together. Bryce's family also love Kaegan, but do not want to interfere. When they are feeling their way back to friendship, Bryce finally gets the opportunity to share what really happened and Kaegan is shocked. He realizes that he was wrong and that they wasted ten years. Can they get over past wrongs? Will they be able to rekindle their relationship? Bryce is happy to remain friends, but Kaegan wants her back.

Of course, no romance can go easily, there has to be some angst and some hurdles to get over and this story had those. I liked the setting of Catalina Cove, a small town close to New Orleans, a shipping and fishing community. It is a place I would love to visit. The story was well written with characters that were well developed and likable. There was a villain in the story which I was a bit ambivalent about and not sure if it was even a necessary storyline. That is the main reason I gave this story 3.5 stars instead of 4. Overall, a satisfactory story and one that interested me enough that I will go back and read the first two in this series.

Everyone knows Bryce and Kaegan belong together but they both had a misunderstanding that lead to broken hearts. Its been 10 years since then and now that Kaegan is back to Catalina cover its hard for both to avoid each other. It seems though the heat between the two hasn't gone away but with time around eachother they just might have a second chance at things.

I love books that feature second chances at love. There is that time between things that makes both partners to have time to grow, think, and change while apart and seeing them try to work on things a second time around was interesting. I enjoyed getting to see the romance, drama, and everything in between. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, their history and seeing how they were attempting to work things out with eachother. I also loved getting to see previous characters in this series make their appearance and in case it wasn't already clear there is two other books. I read the second book to this and been meaning to check out this first which I think I'll see about getting to now that I've enjoyed yet another book by this author. Overall this was a pretty good book I really enjoyed it.

3.5 Stars

This is my first read of the series but was very easy to jump into the story. That said, I had no vested interest in these characters as they were new to me.

There has been 10 years of misunderstanding between Kaegan and Bryce. They are frenimies at best. Mutual friends work hard to convince they to share their truths. I was a little underwhelmed by the reveal. I mean, they were both adults and had been best friends since kindergarten. It seemed silly for them not to talk things through.

Regardless, Kaegan sees the error of his ways and forgives. Bryce--not so willing to do that. Most of the book is the back and forth between them about should we or shouldn't we?? There is some suspense thrown in for a bit of filler. But most of the book is about winning back the love of his life.

Great small town read. Lots of interesting characters. Their friends round out the story nicely. Could have used some beefing up of the story line but overall not a bad read.
