I love a great meeting, and Charlotte and Mitch have the perfect meeting for this couple, what’s better than meeting outside a bar, when the heroine is being picked up by one of the minor villains of the piece? As the story unravels we learn more and more about Mitch and you learn just how much he is truly a knight in tarnished armor. He’s one of those characters you just fall in love with.

Having come to town to meet the two 1/2 brothers he has never had known and meeting their sister by love, if not by blood, and falling for her, Mitch and Charlotte’s story is the perfect finale to this series. I can’t help but fall in love with these two as they fall in love with each other.

As with the rest of the, Mitch’s stepfather, is the perfect piece of nasty to truly make the story flow. He has tormented Mitch for most of his life, and it even made it difficult for Mitch‘s father to see him growing up, and we learn just how difficult as the story unravels.

Seeing how this family comes together was a wonderful and fabulous journey.

I’m a big fan of Lori Foster and have been reading her books for years, including this series but unfortunately this book missed the mark for me. I struggled to get into this book and to connect with the characters. To me there was too much internal dialogue and not enough interaction between our two main characters and it didn’t seem like they interacted enough to fall in love as fast as they did. Although they clearly had a connection, I don’t feel as if it was explored enough and felt their relationship could have been more developed.

Lori Foster never disappoints. Another major hit that will make the reader swoon. Charlotte Parrish is the "little sister" of the Crews brothers. Charlotte is sweet, feisty, and can stand toe to toe with her brothers but turns awkward when she meets Mitch Crews. Charlotte is stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire when a couple drunks come up on her. Mitch, who has been watching from the shadows, comes to her rescue. Mitch is an ex-con who has come to town to meet his half brothers. Mitch has lived a tough life but still has a heart of gold and wants to make a better life for himself. Mitch and Charlotte are attracted to each other, but Mitch knows Charlotte is too good for an ex-con like himself. Charlotte never knew she wanted or needed a man like Mitch and finds she can't resist him. The chemistry between Charlotte and Mitch is blazing HOT! Mitch is flabbergasted when the Crews family welcome him with open arms. Can Mitch stay away from Charlotte like he promised his brothers? Will Mitch be able to protect Charlotte and his family from his past? What happens when the long lost Crews' father shows up in town? Will Mitch and Charlotte realize they are what the other needs to feel complete? I absolutely loved All Fired Up by Lori Foster. Mitch and Charlotte are amazingly strong characters who compliment each other. I love the Crews family, and how they give each other grief but always have each other's back. Lori Foster is a MUST read author! I would highly recommend getting All Fired Up and the other books in the Road to Love series. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.

Charlotte Parrish has always wanted a certain kind of man: someone responsible, settled, boring. Bad boys need not apply. But when her car leaves her stranded and a mysterious stranger with brooding eyes and a protective streak comes to her rescue, she can’t deny how drawn she is to him. In town searching for family he’s never met, Mitch is everything she never thought she wanted—and suddenly everything she craves. Finding his half brothers after all these years is more than Mitch Crews has allowed himself to wish for. Finding love never even crossed his mind…until he meets Charlotte. She’s sweet, warmhearted, sexier than she knows—and too damn good for an ex-con like him. But when his past comes back to haunt him, putting Charlotte—and the family he’s come to care for—in danger, Mitch isn’t playing by the rules. He’s already surrendered his heart, but now he’ll risk his life.
This was a great story by a great author. I’ve read a number of her books and they don’t disappoint. I really liked both Charlotte and Mitch as the plot. I liked seeing the characters from the other books in the series as well. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend.

Mitch is returning to town with the hope of connecting with his half-brothers Jack and Brodie. He is surprised as how easily they accept him into the family, even Ros his brother's mother receives him with open arms, despite him just being released from prison. Charlotte has been considered a part of the family since her parents death. When Mitch's past comes looking for him his family rallies around him even more. Charlotte and Mitch's relationship builds slowly and their story is a good conclusion to the series.

All Fired Up is an excellent story with great character development and an exciting plot that will leave you breathless. I also like the lesson of don't judge a book by its cover. Perfect for a night in with a warm fire. Enjoy.

The Story in 4 Sentences or Less: Charlotte Parrish doesn’t want a bad boy, she doesn’t want trouble, she wants a nice, responsible, settled man to spend her life with, but when her car doesn’t want to start, she meets a stranger that just screams Bad Boy. After so many years, ex-con Mitch Crews has finally found his half brothers which is just about the only thing he’s ever let himself hope for, until he meets Charlotte. As Mitch gets to know his new family, he also gets to know Charlotte and starts hoping for a real life for himself, until his past comes back to haunt him and puts his new family at risk.

Like It? Hate it? Love it? Why? Out of all three books in the Road to Love series, this one is my favorite!

I’ve had a soft spot for Charlotte from the moment she sassed her employers/pseudo brothers Jack and Brodie Crews. She’s spunky but not over the top, smart, kind, and completely likable. I loved her relationship with Jack and Brodie, it brought some humor into the story but heart as well since she was made an honorary member of their family at a young age. I loved Charlotte’s interactions with them, they were always such fun and showed just how amazing and fun she was. When Charlotte met Mitch she was quick to show him

And it was impossible for me not to fall a little in love with Mitch myself. He tried to come off as this big, strong, loner but it didn’t take long to realize that he was just projecting that image to hide that marshmallow heart of his. He wasn’t a stereotype ex-con either, he had a mile wide protective streak but he didn’t suffocate Charlotte. But what I loved best about Mitch was that even though he was a pretty confident, tough guy, he was completely off balance when it came to the warm welcome from not only his half brothers, but their mother. Mitch just didn’t know how to handle the fact that they were ready to embrace him and love him as if he had always been a part of their family. His real growth came when he learned to let his guard down and let his family love him. I really did love that part when he realized he wasn’t alone anymore.

It was so much fun having Jack and Brodie do their best to not only include Mitch into their lives but harass him like brothers do and have Mitch respond in a natural way. Their bond was one of the biggest draws for me. That and seeing the Crews come together and defend Mitch while giving him a hard time over his relationship with Charlotte.

At the end of it all, All Fired Up isn’t just a romance, it’s a story about family. A real family, with its ups and downs, and its imperfect characters who love, respect, and look out for each other. What made this family stand out for me though was the lack of toxic family members. So many times authors make excuses for toxic personalities by using the “They’re family no matter what” card. And to me that sends the wrong message of “You have to sacrifice your wellbeing and peace of mind for some idiot just because you’re biologically connected.” But not the Crews family. They’re the kind of family that works hard to maintain good relationships with one another and I was a little envious of that in the end.

Click It or Skip It? Click It. The Crews are an enviable family.

All Fired Up is book 3 in the Road to Love Series and its totally my favorite! From the characters to the animals (I especially love the animals) to the mustangs, there is something for all romance lovers.

Mitch Crews was finally free, free of the prison that shackled he with a label he would never be free of...ex-con, but he is also free of his mother and her toxic boyfriend that made his life hell and finally, he was free to go search for his brothers that he knew all about, but they never knew him.

When Charlotte Parrish tire went flat outside Freddie's the town bar, the last thing she needs to be dealing with is drunken idiots like Bernie, when all she wanted to do was get home, but here she was listening to Bernie's nonsense, and hoping that Brodie, Jack or Roz got her messages before her phone died! But in rolled a knight in shining armor, who turned out to be so much more than a simple knight.

What a book! It seriously gives you everything and more! I don't think I have ever been disappointed in a book or a series by Lori Foster and I certainly wasn’t in this one! Charlotte is the ultimate heroine (for me), sweet, sassy, organized, and independent, but also welcomes being protected by the ones that care about her, She totally rocks! And then there is Mitch, who despite a terrible upbringing, has grown into a wonderful, loyal man, who just wants to protect those he cares about. I love him so much, he is totally up there in the top four of Dare, Rowdy, Armie and now Mitch. All Fired Up is an absolute corker of a book and one that I will read again and again.

I loved this addition to the Road to Love Series. I was thrilled that Charlotte got her own book and that we got to learn more about her, as I've loved her as a character in the past two books in the series. Mitch was a wonderful character and I loved his story line and how he fit into the Crews Family. This book had everything that I have come to expect to from a Lori Foster book, an interesting plot, great characters, and a wonderful romance story. This is my honest review of an ARC I received from Netgalley.

I don't know if it's only me but I just couldn't get into this story. It seemed to drag endlessly, the romance felt bland - no sparks or chemistry - and the inner monologues were a bit too much. The only thing I liked reading was the family aspect of the plot, it was heartwarming and generally enjoyable. Everything else just felt lacking.

eARC was kindly provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you.

Lori Foster has always been a go to author for me. She didn’t disappoint with this story. I loved everything about it from the slow burn build up to the drama and romance. This was a sweet, steamy and suspenseful romance with a good story and lovable characters. A little bit of humor, a little steam and a lot of story.

5 Stars!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below, they are also part of this series so if you want to read the entire series try reading those books(s) first
Driven to Distraction (Road to Love #1)
Slow Ride (Road to Love #2)

This is Charlotte and Mitch's story. Charlotte has her heart set to a certain type man so that she does not end up with a bad boy. But when her car leaves her stranded a bad boy is exactly what shows up. She is drawn to him like she has never been before is it worth a shot to see where it goes. Or should she stick to her long-term plan of boring and safe? Mitch also has his own plan to find his half-brothers. He didn’t count on Charlotte is not sure how she will feel about his past. He has secrets and they could destroy anything he wanted to build with her. Will he take a chance or push her away before she can learn all his secrets? Or will his secrets put not only him but his new family and Charlotte in danger. Will he be able to protect them? Or will he lose everything once again?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

This series was wonderful. I’m so happy I rediscovered Lori’s books.

I love the way she writes her characters. The men are protective without smothering. The women are strong but know when to ask for help. It’s the perfect balance. I wish more romances were written like this.

This story actually tugged on my heart a bit. Mitch finding his half brothers and being welcomed into their lives was hard for him. But they broke him down. He wasn’t used to being able to rely on anyone so they was a hard lesson. And finding Charlotte made that a little bit easier.

Charlotte has always been like a sister and daughter to the Crews. When she meets Mitch she’s instantly drawn to him. When she finds out that he’s part of the family, her heart realizes that she should probably let him bond with his brothers and step back. But that pesky heart doesn’t agree with that.

This book had everything I liked in a romance, sweet love, tension, family and a bit of excitement. If you’re looking for a romance like this, then I highly recommend to grab this series.

An ex-con and a overprotected woman.....what could possibly go wrong.

Mitch is a good guy who took a fall.
Charlotte is a fabulous gal who has two big brother figures who chased off all the wanna be fellas.

One look was all it took but the road to happiness has a few twists and turns!

I had mixed feeling during my read of this book, I liked it but something was missing not too shaw what that was. I have not read the other two books of this series but felt that was not an issue at all. The end let me down a bit it was a bit of a letdown how the drama unfolded and ended., I would have like to see a bit more suspense

Mitch Crews was a very likable character that showed truth and commitment in his life. Charlotte Parrish was the protected but compassionate sister to Brodie and Jack Crews, a family not from blood or birth but a family that was true and loving.

Mitch walks into the lives of a family that did not know of his existence to find the home and love he had been missing all his life. I love the instant connection between Mitch and Charlotte as well as Mitch and his half brothers. An enjoyable read that could have been either shorter or more suspenseful for me.

I’ve loved all the books in the Road to Love series so far, but I’ve gotta admit, I think All Fired Up may have been my favorite. It features Charlotte, who has been around since the series began and Mitch, who readers were hinted about at the end of Slow Ride.

Charlotte is the “little sister” to overprotective brothers, Jack and Brodie. She lost her parents when she was younger and was “adopted” by the Crews family with no hesitation whatsoever. Mitch had a plan. He wanted to establish himself and then at least meet his half brothers. That plan fell apart as soon as he ran into Charlotte. He was attracted to her from the start – even before he knew her connection to the Crews brothers. That should have nipped his attraction in the bud, but it soon became impossible to ignore.

When Mitch found out that he’d brought danger to his new family, he planned on keeping it as far away from them as possible, whatever it took. He didn’t know his family well enough to realize that they took care of their own and were more than capable. He didn’t expect the immediate devotion and trust for someone who should have been considered a total stranger. That’s just not how the Crews family worked.

I think that’s what made me love this series so much. The strong sense of family that came from all the Crews members. I had only one little issue with the family aspect and it centered around forgiveness. I’m not going to give it away. I think most readers will know what I’m talking about when they get to it. It wasn’t enough to tarnish my love for this series or All Fired Up. As usual, I can’t wait to see what Lori Foster has in store for readers next.

All Fired Up
Road To Love Series - Book 3
By Lori Foster

HQN - November 2019

Contemporary Romance

Mitch Crews had come to meet his brothers. Before he had that chance, he came to the aid of an attractive young lady, only to discover that his half-brothers were hers, which was disconcerting. But Charlotte Parrish was an honorary family member, having been brought into the family when she'd lost her own. Which made his instant attraction to her much more comfortable, until he was forced to meet Brodie and Jack, with whom they shared a father, much sooner than he expected. Even more startling was meeting their mother Ros, who took one look at him, and quickly pulled him into their family regardless of how he might protest. For he didn't have an untarnished past. He had done time, he'd lived a hard life, and he had only intended to come long enough to meet his brothers.

Finding brothers who accepted him was unexpected. Finding a woman who treated him as a son, was surreal when he had been the parent to his drug addicted mother. Finding Charlotte, well she was the woman who could make all his unacknowledged dreams come true.

Charlotte had never had much in the way of male interest. And not just because Brodie and Jack looked out for her as any overprotective big brothers would. She just hadn't found any of the local options to her liking. Then Mitch arrived, and she responded to this Crews male unlike she had any other male she'd known. She knew he was overwhelmed with the family's welcome, and he wanted to protect everyone from the past that continued to follow him. She was patient, after all, the best things in life were worth waiting for.

All Fired Up is my favorite story of the Crews brothers. The little caring Mitch has experienced in life has been from a mostly absent father. I enjoyed seeing him learn to accept the different aspects of love, that of a mother, a sibling, and finally a woman. Charlotte was an enjoyable heroine, sweet and loving, while still fiercely loyal and independent. She was the perfect heroine to help Mitch forget his past and focus instead on his future. One with her and his new extensive family. All Fired Up is the third story in Lori Foster's Road to Love series.

All Fired Up by Lori Foster is a novel you won't want to stop reading! This book captured my heart from the first moment. I fell hard for the characters. Even the fur baby characters made my heart swell. It was heartbreaking about what happened to the humans and to the furry creatures. If you're a huge animal lover like me, this novel is a must read! Plus, the sexy contemporary romance was enjoyable to follow.

A young man had a rough childhood, bad parents, and was put into jail for something he didn't really do. He left him in prison for 5-years. After getting out, his mom died, he found a wounded stray pup, and he's determined to set his life on track. That includes meeting his two brothers. What he didn't expect was their reaction nor their mother's reaction to him. Their acceptance still left him shaking his head not wanting to believe how lucky he was. However, his life is about to get more complicated.

A young woman is experiencing car trouble and two idiots are giving her a hard time. Mitch enters the scene and from there-there is this undeniable attraction between the two. They just fit. Then his two brothers step up and hell breaks loose. The raw emotions and high tensions were amazing. These characters felt so real.

Lori Foster is a fabulous writer. I have always known that-having read several of her books. But this specific novel is by far the greatest book she has written to date. I highly recommend everyone to read it.

I don't read many romance novels and almost gave up on this one in Chapter 1 because of all the overt sexual innuendos but the reviews were good so I kept reading and am glad that I did. This was much more than a sappy romance - it was about family and loyalty and love and definitely worth reading.

This is the third book in the Road to Love series but it was fine to read as a stand alone because each book focuses on a different character in the family.

Mitch is an ex-con who has come to town to meet his half brothers who don't even know that he exists. He isn't sure what he is truly searching for but he knows it isn't love. Until he meets Charlotte - then all of his other plans aren't as important. He expects rejection from his half brothers and what he finds is acceptance and love. Can he expect the same from Charlotte once she finds out about his past? Will they be able to make a future together?

This book is full of suspense and family and lots of steamy romance. I think it's time for me to read more books by Lori Foster.
