A really good read, showing how one error of judgement can change so many others lives! How many secrets and lies have been kept and told and how can you ever uncover the truth !

This was definitely a disturbing page turner. I could not put this book down, even though the plot was slow to start. It had a good buildup and I loved the multiple pint of view perspective.

How long can a secret stay a secret? What if you think your older sister is a liar? So many twists and turns in this story, each more shocking than the last. I couldn't put it down and read it in a single night

I love Sarah A Denzil and each time I read her books I think no way can she top it but once again she does. I think this is my favourite book so far, great story likeable characters and a plot that keeps you reading too late in the night. Would definitely recommend this book

Thank you to the author, the publisher Boukouture and to Netgalley for this advance copy in return for an honest review.

I came to this book far to late which was unfortunate as it was a good read.

Rosie and Heather are sisters with secrets. Heather wonders how Rosie is implicated in the disappearance of their neighbour Samuel, and Rosie wonders just how much of the truth Heather knows or suspects.

What unfolds is a fast-paced well put together plot that is very convincing. You really come away going phew thank goodness that is over!

Definitely recommend and I will be looking up this author’s other novels.

A thrilling read that starts with the disappearance of a teenage boy. Heather believes that her sister, Rosie was perhaps involved in the boy's disappearance but never comes forward with her suspicions . The twists and turns until the very end made this a great, thrilling and gripping read. Recommended.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.

I’m really sorry about this and hope that it won’t affect you allowing me to read and review your titles in the future.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Natalie.

This book was a great fast paced thriller that I couldnt stop thinking about. I hadnt read any of Sarahs books so I went in with no expectations. I was very impressed I couldnt stop reading to find out what was going on. It is told by two different characters and different timelines.

A complex, suspenseful plot with tension so thick that it felt palpable. Wonderfully-developed characters with depth and substance. I was immediately drawn in and held captive from beginning to end.

Amazing powerful book about two sisters who are both connected to the disappearance of a teenage boy, Samuel, who went missing from their village many years earlier.Heather believes that Rosie may know more than she’s letting on about what happened to Samuel. Excellent book

What a gripping book this is! Right from the start we are compelled into the story, and it really is hard to put down.

The setting is so atmospheric, it really adds to the chilling plot. The isolation of the village, and the depiction of the dark woods that surround it, really make you feel that this is a place where bad things could happen.

The story is told from several points of view, which I really liked. The plot seems simple at first, and like Heather, I was sure I had it all figured out quite early on in the story. But I was so wrong! Despite changing my mind as the story progressed, a series of shocking twists and turns had me proven wrong.

Perfectly paced, and tightly woven, with superb characters, this is such an excellent psychological thriller. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

A young boy, Samuel, goes missing from a quiet village and disrupts a town. Rosie mourns the loss of her friend, but her younger sister Heather saw Rosie climb in the window that night and fears that she knows more than she says. Heather never mentions it and the sisters, now estranged, come back to the village 10 years later to care for their sick mother. Hoping to heal, they instead have a break in, the house ransacked and a threatening note push both sisters to confront the past.
Told from both sisters' POVs - Rosie in the past, Heather in the present - the story was interesting and kept me reading! I enjoyed the twists and turns in this psychological thriller.
Thanks to Bookouture, Sarah A. Denzil and NetGalley for the ARC of this thriller!

The Liar's sister is a thriller and suspenseful type of book if I were to place it in a category. It's about two sisters who basically lived in the middle of nowhere and one of the sisters disappears in the middle of the night only to return in the early mornings where her sister suspects she was up to something. Later that day, she finds out that one of her best friends disappears the night her sister came back home late and she feels as though she is hiding something from her. Where do I begin...honestly I couldn't really pinpoint how to feel about this book, to be honest. I felt like it was very...cliche??> It was a good story but a bit slow in some parts and the ending just didn't really cut it for me.

I love a great, fast paced, suspense novel and this is definitely one. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t stop thinking about this book until I finished it. The author did a great job with the characters so they were likable and easy to relate to. If you are wanting a quick read with a great story then this should be your next book.

The Liar's Sister is an intense whodunit suspense written from the POV of two sisters across dual timelines. A local boy Samuel goes missing, secrets and rumors swarm the small village, and one sister, Heather, suspects her older sister Rosie may hold the answer to the mystery or in fact be the cause of his disappearance. Ten years later, the sisters return after their mother passes away, and all the lies that have been told start to unravel forcing Heather to confront her sister and finally unveil her shocking truth. Digging deeper to find the answers, the sisters find themselves in horrible danger with no one to trust. This book is full of the best kinds of twists - ones you don't expect! My only complaint was that it felt a little YA between the writing style and the story elements - two sisters, first love, coming of age, etc. - but this isn't too surprising if you know that the author has previously written YA books. Great effort by the author and I look forward to reading her other suspense - Silent Child.

Thank you NetGalley

Such a fast paced thriller that will suck you in and never let you go! I have never read anything by Sarah Denzil before and I'm kicking myself for not. This is a true pychological thriller that has an ending that will blow your mind and I don't usually say that.
