Book 16? I think it is in the Dark King series, Fever felt a little like a transition book. Grant spent the first handful of chapters catching everyone up on what’s been happening with this current story arc, and yes it’s a lot, while introducing Bernadette and Keltan, this story’s main couple. However, everyone from the Reapers, Dark and Light Fae, to the Dragon Kings and their mates had a moment-or more-and that’s when the story REALLY started taking off in directions that left me thinking “I wasn’t expecting that/I didn’t see this coming/I can’t believe that just happened!”

All I can say is if you’ve been wanting to jump into the Dark King world, Fever would be the perfect book to start with! There’s plenty of information to catch you up on where things stand now before delving into an jam-packed story and then giving teasers into the next arc. Who wouldn’t want to spend a few hours with these amazing dragons?!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book from Netgalley and St. Martins. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Donna Grant did it again with Fever. I loved reading about the Dragon Kings again, it's like meeting an old friend again and catching up with them. The only problem that I had with this book was that I now have to wait ages to read what is going to happen next, I would really have loved to start reading on the next book immediately. I just loved all the characters and how everyone rallied around the ones that needed it most. Brilliant writing as always and I am really glad that I get to read Donna Grant. I wonder what is install for us next?
Loved the book!!!!

This is a series I have loved and read for years. YEARS. So to finally get somewhere again after Mikkel is reallllly nice.

I did have a hard time with the couple though. Their relationship didn’t feel genuine to me. There was something about the way they interacted. Bernadette knew. Hell of a lot more than any other Mate but her blind trust in everything just irked me. Even Keltan’s questioning of everything made me mad. I think I’m just so used to having to see the Mates learn and grow that this was just not enough for me.

At times I had a hard time with the story. It seemed like one thing popped up and all of a sudden the Kings knew exactly what was wrong... please, no. They say they’re not all knowing yet that is EXACTLY what it felt like!

Once it got to the action, of the violent type, I was back in the game. This delivered everything I’ve been wanting and sooooo much more. While my heart hurts after this, I can say I’m happy again with this series. It’s been a long road and while at times it seemed slow, it was worth it!

I can’t wait for more, especially Rhi. She needs all the goodness she can get!

Another great Dragon King novel. Bernadette...never trust the UB!tch. I love how willing she was to go with Kelton and trust him.

There's so much, but I don't want to give anything away...someone is found, there's a battle and people die (but where are the bodies), and who is this mysterious Melissse.

What I didn't like, again don't wanna say to much, but really Bernadette, I don't agree with your reason.

This is another great book in the Dragon Kings. I have read each book in this series and have loved them all. There is so much suspense, romance, and wonderful characters. I can not wait till the next book in this series comes out. My customers hope this series does not end

Hot, Hot, Hot! The tension is building! War with the Queen of the Light Fae is on the horizon, but can Rhi win? Will she succeed with the help of the Dragon Kiings and Dark Fae? Where is Con at a time like this? Questions are answered, biggest battle since the Fae wars will arrive, but who will reign victoriously? Usaeil? Rhi? Con? Balladyn?

I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for my honest review. Bernadette was a well thought of anthropologist who seemed to go off the deep end and is now giving lectures on the real ness of dragons. Keltan was a dragon king who was tasked with solving the problem of Bernadette exposing their secrets. After meeting there seems to be more to the story and you find out how Usaeil is involved with the situation. After a lot of action between the many characters there is some resolution.. This is a continuation of the Dragon King series with some crossover elements from the Reaper series that leads up to the culmination between the evil light queen Usaeil and Rhi, unfortunately the big battle seemed to take up more of the story than the relationship between Bernadette and Keltan. There is however finally some answers that are reached ( though more questions are also presented). This book was good, but not as good as others in the series. I highly recommend reading the other books in the series for a greater appreciation of the story. 4 stars

Bernadette was once an accomplished anthropologist. But now...she's essentially a laughing stock. She has been sucked into the world of Dragons and has become obsessed. But her obsession could lead to annihilation for an entire species.

Keltan has been alive for a long, long, long time. He has seen humans come and go and mostly he is happy with his lot. But Con is still missing, Ubitch is still causing mayhem wherever she goes and now a meddling human could open up the Dragon Kings World to outsiders!

Bernadette may be incredibly smart but she is also naive and the most open-book person ever! Keltan has obviously being paying attention during his long life - cook for a woman! There are lots of OMG moments, WTH's and let's just say someone has their come-to-Jesus reckoning!

Kelton is just one giving man, “I’ll kiss you everywhere,” he said. “I’ll gladly bring you pleasure and expect none for myself.” Kelton twnds to have selective hearing, "His grin made her heart skip a beat. “You find me handsome?” I liked this book, I liked Kelton.

This was given to me for reviewing purposes. As always Donna Grant has done it again!!

This story is an exciting and action packed. This story is about Kelton and Bernadette. The attraction is immediate and gets stronger the more they spend time together but just like all the other Dragon Kings he denies that she is his mate but with this denial will it cost her her life or will he be the one only one who can save her?

As always they have an enemy will do anything they can to destroy or ruin the Dragon Kings. The question is, is Bernadette there to destroy or ruin the Dragon Kings or is she being used? You will have to read it to find out.

Donna Grant put in many twists and turns to keep the readers on their toes and boy did she.. Love the story line and the action. Couldn’t put it down. Can not wait til the next story. I would recommend this story and author to anyone.

For centuries, the Dragon Kings have lived among mortals, forsaking their true selves. But for Kelton, hiding in the realm of shadows and existing only in the world of dreams is no longer an option. A human woman claims to know that he, like other dark warriors of his kind, is real. When I started reading I couldn't put it down. Donna Grant is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.

So much going on in the book So. Much. Much bigger than just Keltan and Bernadette. Keltan is a Dragon King who doesn’t want to fall in love and have a mate. Bernadette is an anthropologist-turned-cryptozoologist who is intent on proving that Dragons are real. Keltan is sent to find out what she knows and the sparks fly from there. Who has set Bernadette on this journey to expose Dragons and why? Donna Grant has such a way of creating a story that ties into the bigger story. Fever doesn’t disappoint. Just when you think one thing is taken care of another takes its place. Yeah, a lot in this book but I don’t want to give away any spoilers so just let me say this: this story will be coming to an end soon, so for those of you who haven’t enjoyed this world created by Ms. Grant, I highly recommend you start at the beginning and enjoy the ride! I received a free ARC from #netgalley to enjoy and review #Fever

Oh my goodness. This book had me on the edge of my seat and so emotional. The last book left us on a cliffhanger (of a kind) and I was desperate to see what happened next. This book carries the overall story arc forward like nobody's business. In terms of Keltan and Bernadette - I just loved them together. I loved Bernadette - she was a very special person. She really was selfless, strong, and brave. I think Keltan could have used more of a backstory - but there was only so much time and a whole lot of stuff to move forward with this story.

To say more about the plot would ruin it - but if you are long time fan of the series - you will have strong emotions about everything that goes on. Like REALLY STRONG...As an aside, I think it is becoming increasingly clear who Rhi's Dragon King was/is. Tho, the closer we get to that revelation, I can't imagine how Donna Grant is going to bring them back together.

Title: Fever
Author: Donna Grant
Genre: Contemporary Fantasy Romance
**RECEIVED ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW **

This is my second book by Donna Grant and my second book in this series. I came to this series very late with the book Ignite. Even if I had never read anything in this series I could read Fever and be caught up no problem. Grant does an awesome job of immersing the reader in the ongoing storyline and the current hero and heroines story so that they aren't lost and confused. Unfortunately I felt more for the other characters and their drama than Kelton and Bernadette. These two characters just didn't feel real or and truthfully they felt secondary. The book seemed more of a storyline climax/ending/new beginning in regards to other characters than these two lovers.

Now, I will say after reading this book I now need to go back and read a different Donna Grant series about the Reapers. So this book may have actually made me a Donna Grant reader. Oh, as an Anthropologist, if you have an Anthropologist as a character, I don't know, have her seem Anthropological. Bernadette just seemed like a conspiracy theorist. But was constantly said she was soooo intelligent. She never really said anything overly interesting or intelligent.

Like I said, I fell in love with Rhi and others part of the continuing series. And I really want to read about the Reapers, they seem sexy and hot. So I guess you could say Donna Grant gave me a Fever!

OMG finally!!!!! So much happens in this new installment of the Dragon Kings. Keltan is the hero dragon king in this one and his heroine is a new character Bernadette. They have a great chemistry and their story progresses nicely but it definitely takes a backseat to all the action. We finally get time with Henry. We see a lot of kings we haven’t seen in awhile. And the war, finally we get action and the war progresses.
So much happens I don't want to give specific spoilers but it not to be missed. We have been waiting on this one for so long. And of course there are more questions than answered so I’m looking forward to the next one.

Wow., ok now the wait is truly killing me. This series is so over the top and my heart hurts for Rhi. I will be sad to see it all end. In this particular book. One dragon doesn’t want a mate but love has other things in store. Such an imagination

Ok let me start by saying that you absolutely have to read the previous books in this series or you will be completely lost. This is book 16-so these books have been building a much bigger story ARC since the beginning. With that being said, in this one we get Kelton and Bernadette's story. Bernadette is an anthropologist that has been telling people that dragons are real. Kelton has been sent to listen to one of her presentations and if possible to discredit her or prove her wrong in order to keep their secrets. But in meeting her, he is drawn to her. And after spending more time together he just wants to keep her safe. Especially after figuring out exactly what she was told and by whom.

I loved, loved, loved this one!!! Kelton and Bernadette are perfect for each other, and the fact that they take the time to truly listen to each other was absolutely beautiful!! The action in this one was also something that I truly have been waiting for and I was in no way disappointed with! I don't want to say too much because a lot of what I could say would be a spoiler and I truly don't want to wreck anything for anyone else. I seriously can't wait for the next one now!!!

WOW! I don't even have the words at the moment to express how much this latest installment moved me. One word of warning, without giving away any spoilers, if you are already in a weepy place - have your tissues ready for the last quarter of the book.

I want to go into so much detail, but I would never want to ruin this amazing read for anyone else. Suffice it to say that we have many of the aspects that we have all come to love about the Kings present in this book; Hot and sexy Dragon King? Check! Speculation about Rhi's King still going strong? Check! Will the Kings eventually have to go public with who and what they are? TBD

I absolutely loved Fever and I cannot wait to see what happens next with future love interests, old loves finally revealed and the culmination of the "final" war.

Received a free ARC from #netgalley in exchange for an honest review. #Fever

I loved this story and I thought it was excellent!

As usual Donna has written another excellent story that was full of action and suspense and romance. The characters were well developed and worked together brilliantly as normal.

I really like the way that she gives you the notion of what the next book may be about too - I can’t wait to see what she releases next – 5 stars from me!!
