When Gina’s younger brother is imprisoned for theft but claims to have been framed by his employer, Gina hopes to be able to find evidence to exonerate him. Luckily Will is looking for a nanny for his twin four-year-old boys and while Gina has zero experience with young kids, her BF’s “glowing references” and the internet lands Gina a one day trial and the job when the boys totally warm to her.
I love intelligent heroines & Gina, a botanist working on her thesis is that. But more that just brains, she is loyal, and natural. How she wins over the boys makes a wonderful story – warm, funny and poignant at times. The best was the way she coached Will – another clueless adult when it came to young kids! – in slowly earning his son’s trust and affection.
A wonderful, feel good story. Definitely recommended.

In The Daddy Coach by Karen Muir we learn that childhood wasn’t easy for Gina and she spent most of it taking care of her younger brother. When he is imprisoned for a crime he swears he didn’t commit she goes on a quest to prove his innocence and the guilt of the real criminal. However, this quest requires her to become the temporary nanny to Will’s young twin boys. Will is struggling to care and connect with his twin four-year old boys that he only recently found out about. Things get complicated when Gina falls for the boys and Will…all the while realizing that Will could never have committed the crime as her brother alleges. Should she come clear and tell Will what her initial intentions were and risk losing him forever? Or should she keep this secret so she can keep the life she is loving?
This story is heartwarming and sweet. From the cutest little boys shooting Gina with water guns to Gina (who knows really nothing about children) trying to teach Will how to connect with his children by using Google. I was entertained and engrossed in this story. This had a good plot (the mystery of who actually committed the crime) centered around a father trying to learn to love & care for his children. Ugh, when the boys called him “Daddy” for the first time I had tears in my eyes, it was so sweet. Will and Gina had real character depth that made them both so likable and had me invested in their story. I was rooting for a HEA.
This is my first book by Karen Muir but it will not be my last. This is a perfect summer beach read.

This is a sweet romance that I just loved. Gina lies to get a position as a nanny in Will's home for his twin boys. She does this because she thinks he got her brother wrongfully convicted of theft and wants to find proof in his house. However, there was a major problem with her plan - she doesn't particularly like kids or know what to do with them.

This is a fun and clever story that drew me right in. I wasn't sure what to expect, but found myself drawn into the characters and their story.. They had a bit of depth to them that made them likeable and made me feel invested in their story and want them to get their HEA ending.

I'm giving this book 4 stars because of the ending. It was a bit abrupt and fast - almost as though the author ran out of pages and rushed it to fit it in. If not for this, I would have rated with five stars. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.

This story was so freaking cute, i loved Gina, Will and the boys so much. I really emphatized with them and their problems, and loved their integrity when difficult situations happened.
The romance was so adorably sweet and the moments between the couple and the kids had me with silly smiles and warm feelings, theirs are such a wonderful family.
I love cute romance books with children as an important part of the plot, and this one was no different. I hope Ms. Karen writes more books in this heartwarming style.

At first I wasn't sure that I would like The Daddy Coach. I was a bit confused about Will (thought he was a cop who had wrongfully arrested Gina's brother!) so it took me a few chapters to figure out what was actually going on.
I grew to love the boys, Gina, Will and their story. So glad to have had the opportunity to get to enjoy a taste of Karen Muir's writing. I will be back for a second helping for sure!

This appears to be a new author. It is well written and I really liked the two main characters in the story. Its sorta an enemies to love storyline.

Will is an architect who just found out he has twin 4 year old boys. He really has no clue how to deal with them at all. He decides to hire a nanny for the summer.

Gina is a Botanist who has a jail bird brother. Her brother worked for Will until he was suspected of stealing diamonds from a client and is now found guilty and in jail. He convinces Gina it was Will and he was framed and so she decides to search his house for the jewels. The best way would be to be a nanny.

And so starts this fun story of a person who doesnt like kids who becomes a nanny. It was a fun and sweet story and I really enjoyed it.

After having been out of the country for a year, Gina returns home to find her beloved younger I brother in prison for a crime he says he did not commit. He claims his former boss set him up, so Gina sets up a ruse to find out the truth.

Will recently found out that he was the father of two four-year old boys after his ex-wife was killed in a plane crash. Neither he nor the boys are adjusting well, and to top it off, he is experiencing financial difficulties with his business due to a burglary committed my a former employee. Will resolves to hire a nanny to care for the boys and to help him adjust to being a father.

Gina applies for the nanny position in order to get close to Will and have access to his home. She firmly believes that she will be able to find proof that Will set her brother up. Much to her surprise, she doesn’t find anything and quickly realizes that Will is a stand-up guy ad would never have committed the crime that her brother accused him of.

To further complicate things, Gina and Will develop feelings for each other. Can two people with little success with past relationships, find happiness despite the charade which Gina has been perpetuating?
