An amazing book, really easy to read and very helpful. I read it when I was about to do my thesis presentation to get my Bachelor's degree and it changed the game for me. Up until that moment I hadn't had many opportunities to give something akin to a lecture, a public speech or whatever, so it was nervewracking to say the least, but the tips and tricks in this book made it easier (and if you want to know, the presentation went fantastic, haha!)

The book is full of very practical and easy to follow tips for anyone who would like to enhance his/her public speaking skills. The book's presentation is well-organized and the author use words which anyone can follow.

I really like the table format of the examples. This will be very helpful for those who are preparing for their speeches.

Anyone who wants to read this book will benefit from the nuggets of learning here.

So pumped to have access to this via NetGalley. I've got speeches to write and would like to master my ability to speak.

BUT, this book does not make me feel like the title says! You Got This: Everything You Need to Master Authentic Public Speaking reads like a book for middle/high school public speaking. It's beginner's basics. It's not enough content to make me move towards mastery.

This is the kind of reason I wish there were still physical bookstores around so I can pick up a book, flip through and decide to this may actually help me. What happened for me on NetGalley is seeing the cover, reading the marketing blurb and then having downloading remorse that we were not a good match at all.
