Great book about dealing with your past and moving forward. It was a nice read.

I enjoyed the first book in this series, but I think I liked this one even better. Sam was hard to like at first but then I realized what she's been through and how much she's grown and I grew to like her more. Probably the best part of this book is her relationship with her friends (the Sworn Sisters). A very enjoyable read that encompasses lots of emotions-loss, love, friendship --I look forward to more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I enjoyed reading the progression of change as Sam went from being the scorned wife when her husband left her for another woman, through a bitter period, then finally when she realized that she needed to work on her attitude and acted a bit nicer!

Michael was a bit more of a mystery and his background was hard to read. I am not sure why at one point he kind of felt bitter towards his school friends when they really didn't know his circumstances as he worked hard to hide it but then dismissed their concern when they thought he might have died.

Was not sure they were going to get to their HEA when they each were too cautious after both being burned by their significant other, and not wanting to put themselves out for another chance at love or maybe getting rejected.

Of all the Sworn sisters, Denise seems the most well adjusted and at the end you could add Sam, but Nikki and Alyssa are going to have a long road if they make it a HEA!
