I enjoyed this touching story about Dusty, a little boy who desperately needed a stable, loving home. Rico and Ana have both experienced rejection in their lives, but they put aside their fears to provide a home for this little boy. This story is a sweet one, and there’s a whole range of emotions as the reader cheers Rico and Ana on to find their happily-ever-after together.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Jericho works on the Rebel family ran and when he comes across four-year-old in need of help he will do what he can to keep the child out of the system as they find the next of kin or until the mother can claim him. But he cannot do it on his own and gets the help of Anamarie by his side. Jericho is no stranger to the bad luck that seems to follow him and things are seeming wonderful which means its only natural for things to go downhill.

This was a cute contemporary romance. Man! Life really seems to kick Jericho when hes already down and it seems like he's so used to it that he ends up making matters worse by pushing those he cares about away. At first it was heartbreaking seeing what the child was going though and heartwarming as Jericho and Anamarie take care of the child seeing hearing about the childs happiness. As the readers go on its easy to care for the family and feel how they feel as the story progresses so when things start to go down its easy to feel the ups and downs of what happens to this small forming family. This was just such a great book and I really enjoyed it and recommend you lovely readers to check it out.

I enjoyed this new to me author very much!
I fell in love with Dusty the moment I met him. I wanted to reach in and just hug him tight and never let go!
I think a persons past shouldn't matter especially if they've been redeemed like Rico. It's wonderful to have a second chance. Sometimes thing just happen in our lives that we have no control of. I think it's unfair to judge ppl for whatever it was that happened to them. NO one has the right to be better than the next person. Not at all.
Which brings us to AnaMaria. I almost felt sorry for her because of her mother. Her mother reminds me of my mother in law. Snooty. There's no other word for it.
I think Rico, Dusty and AnaMaria would make a fine family!
Will it happen? Y'all will just have to read and find out! But I guarantee that you will love Dusty. Isn't he just the cutest? Reminds me of my own son when he was that age.
My thanks to Netgalley. NO compensations were received and all opinions are my own.

📕MY REVIEW📕
I have been a fan of this authors for many many years. The very first romance book I ever read was by her. I was so happy to be approved for this read on netgalley. A Child's Gift is such a compelling ,heartwarming wonderful read. The plot grabs your attention and heart at the same time. It brought about so many emotions in me. I fell in love with little sweet Dusty right from the start. My heart 💔 broke for this sweet child who went through so much at a very young age. I found this book to be well written, realistic and very believable. I admired Rico right from the start for jumping to help Dusty from the moment he found him. My heart also broke in two for Ana and all she had been through . She was already struggling with her life when she to jumped in to help sweet Dusty. This book was full of great Characters and I am going to look for some of the others that have the Rebel family in them. Many thanks to the publisher , author , and netgalley for a ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
