The graphics correspond to the text on the page bringing words and images together for young listeners. Some pages encourage reader interaction by asking what Sammy could be building and using the illustrations as clues. Sammy participates in a lot of winter activities reminding the reader of all the outdoor fun there is to be had.

Sammy in the Winter is a good book for young children with lovely illustrations. I'm sure that there are plenty of young children who would enjoy sharing this book with their parents.
