Bob Goff books are like Chicken Soup for the Soul books were in my teen years- they just make me feel good after reading them. I'm thankful for how accessible he makes knowing God for everyone.

I am such a fan of Goff's work. I have been taking my time with this title and have found the overall message to be one that is greatly needed in today's world. I appreciate the questions posed at the end of each devotional as each allows me to examine my faith, my path, who I am, and who I want to be. If you're looking for a daily devotional that serves to remind you what is important, loving others, then you can't go wrong with this title!

Bob Goff speaks straight to my heart with the gentle words of God. I am always encouraged with his gentle reminders of kindness in a world that tells us to take it our way. I purchased the book and went through the devotionals with a friend. It's calming and truly meditative.

I love Bob Goff and his ability to teach lessons throughout his stories! Whether it is read in bite-sized daily pieces or devoured at a faster rate, the stories of inspiration and love will brighten your day. Highly recommend!

When I was young I had a necklace that said: grace, mercy, and love, to be honest, it is easier to wear a necklace than living with those characteristics. The fruit of the spirit we all need it. Imagine a book with more than 2000 five stars review in amazon, well, this is the one. Bob Goff is unique, I really like him. If you want readings for every day that are short encouraging and that you can relate with, get this journey. Bob Goff it is so good with words, I don´t understand how you can get engaged so soon with his content...

This is a really good daily devotional book. I've read a few other Bob Goff books and while I didn't read every single day from this devotional I read most of it and think anyone could take something away from it each day. This also would be a good starter daily devotional for anyone who wants to give it a try and maybe doesn't know where to start.

I adore Bob Goff. I really enjoyed this book and 2020 was the perfect year for it. Nothing will lead others to Jesus like love and Bob shows that perfectly.

I have always been a fan of Bob Goff. He's the epitome of where flesh meets faith, and he's always got a good story about how to really meet your community. I was excited about this daily devotional. It's August, so I'm 8 months into it, and it's starting to be fairly repetitive. There are not many days any more that I don't have the sense that I've read this same point before. It makes me wonder if all this stuff is really just this simple, that it can be boiled down to just a few ideas, or what happened. It's a good read. It's encouraging. It will be better for someone who hasn't read Bob's other works, as a lot of the ideas are repeats. But it is a daily reminder to go where the grace is, so that is important. Overall, not what I was expecting, but if I wasn't expecting anything, I would love this book.

Note: One of the months is short a day, but the next month has one extra, so the divisions are a bit off.

I have enjoyed Bob Goff's previous works and used them in a small group at my church. This devotional is more of what we have liked from Goff-entertaining, very readable, with an uplifting and encouraging message as the focus.

First off- I adore Bob Goff, because he is able to be both incredibly faithful and open to everyone - the true measure of faith, IMO. Starting my day with a motivational message from him is fantastic! His main message- love people. It’s that simple and that hard.

Doing this devotional in the mornings sets the positive tone for my day. He breaks down life into such easy, simple steps. It’s uncomplicated and pure, just like the love of Christ.

This devotional is fantastic, highly recommend!

Another great book by Bob Goff. I daily devotional book that you can easily do. We call can learn how to give a little more grace in our lives to others and ourselves and this book shares this concept. I highly recommend it.

I'm so sorry I didn't have enough time to download this book. I was looking forward to reading it because I really liked another book I read by this author.

Bob Goff has a heart towards people. He wants to encourage believers to walk in love, showing compassion, mercy and love to others. Reading through this devotional each day this year and that passion is made clear on every page. Bob uses stories from his own life, examples, of how to be practical and make application to his themes. Would encourage anyone struggling in this area of showing love to their brother - or who just wants to do more of it - to use this as a resource. As Jesus challenged us - if we can't show love to the one we see, how can we say we love God whom we have not seen. I appreciate the opportunity to get this book early via NetGalley and to provide this review, without any obligation on my part other than to provide some feedback.

With short entries just a few paragraphs long each, this is a good daily devotional if you're looking for something that won't take much time, points to Scripture, and also draws from the author's own life.. The content is very similar to Bob Goff's other books, but in smaller pieces that stand alone.

I’ve read all of Bob Goff’s books and just loved them. His devotional was no different! I loved the short but impactful daily reads. He keeps drawing you back to what does love really mean? I loved the verses that accompanied each day and the questions that bookended the reading. It’s the perfect way to start out your day instead of a 3-minute scroll through your phone- get centered with a verse, a mini-story or thought, and a question to focus your day. I highly recommend this devotional and think it would be perfect for teens, recent graduates, and young moms. I think it’s a great fit for many stages of life, but these groups stuck out to me as to ones who could really benefit from the short, but insightful daily reads.
