This was a very cool collection of stories. I found the insights into the lives of “famous” peoples’ faith lives fascinating and was touched by the overarching themes of God’s redemptive power and grace.

I will admit that some of the stories seemed to lean toward the “moment of enlightenment” side of things as opposed to truly giving their lives over to God and living as new creatures through Him. However, I can’t speak for the hearts and transformations of the people themselves, so I will leave it up to the individual readers to examine the stories in light of the Truth of God’s Word and what He demands of His people.

I´m truly engaged with this series, I don´t know whose idea it was but I´m thankful they took it and made the videos. Now with this printed book we can go deeper into the testimonies. It is difficult not to get engaged or not to be touched by the things you read. I keep the topic of surrender to get peace, I believe is the only way.

I didn't know what to expect when I started this one, but I really enjoyed it, though, and am glad I got the chance to read it! There's some interesting points mentioned, and a lot of quotes I really liked.

Very interesting book of different people and how they found peace, contentment, and happiness when they found God. Some of these people I am familiar with so it told the stories right. An excellent read.

This is a great collection of stories and testimony of people we all know from different walks of life. As I know a few of these people personally, I have to say Doug Bender put the time in to paint these stories accurately from the contributors.

This was an interesting book about how different people have come to find peace after finding God. I am not a religious person, but did find this to be an interesting read, as some of the abuse and hardship these people suffered were horrendous. It is inspiring that they were able to find peace after such horrible experiences.

I'm familiar with I am 2nd and what they stand for. This book offers great stories of encouragement for everyone. I highly recommend this book.
