A wonderfully twisted story.
I don’t usually read these types of books but I am glad that I did this time, from start to finish I was entranced with the characters. I love a writer that can take the Fairy/mythical and show that dark side of it instead of the usual happy-go-lucky.
I love the way this is written and I was pleasantly shocked with the ending, I will differently be keeping my eye on this author.

This book was dark and intense! And I absolutely loved it!! It was a wonderful, unexpected read! I loved how unique and disturbing it was!!

This book was just....alright. It wasn't particularly scary at any point, and filled with implausibilities that made it hard to really enjoy the story. Yea, I get that fairies are impossible on their own, but you can weave a good story with suspension of disbelief and this just didn't fit the bill for me. It's a short read though, so it has that going for it.

I have a deep love for boarding school books. Something about teens locked up together always makes for an interesting story - and this one does not disappoint. Genre-bending and extremely satisfying, I could not put this down. Eliza is a brilliant, troubled and real young teen trying to find her place in a world of secrets and magic. Great for fans of VC Andrews!

I enjoyed the idea behind the story, malicious fairies, troubles children. What’s not to be intriguing. The twists were well planned and I didn’t see them coming. The characters were well developed however some parts were found to be completely unbelievable. I mean a child stabbed another child within an orphanage as was permitted to return. I understand her return was important for the story but this kinda didn’t sit well with me.

Overall I did enjoy it and believe it was a well written debut novel. Maybe just not entirely for me. However it was still worth reading and I was glad I did.

This was my first book by this author, It was pretty enjoyable. I would give this book a 3.5 star rating! It was a pretty Quick and easy read!
