Reece and Vin are fake dating to improve Vin’s CEO image. Reece is a girl that comes from money. She has everything the wants so dating Vin is just another fun thing to do. Both soon realize maybe fake dating is turning real. The story is predictable but I enjoyed their journey getting there! Super fun read!

Having just received it less than a day ago. I started reading it this morning and from what I read so far it has promise. I find that Vincent the main character is a man to be reckoned with only that Reese is not taking the bite. He likes her that much I can tell. But there's more to it. I haven't got that far so I can't tell you much but its an interesting read.

I'm obsessed with fake dating trope and this book just gave me all the feels. The characters were so interesting and I loved seeing how their opinions of each other changed throughout the book. The relationship was developed really well. This is my first book by this author and I'll definitely be checking out all her new releases!

This was just okay. The writing wasn't horrible, but I did get really tired of reading their same thoughts over and over again. I don't think I've ever read a book with more misunderstanding between 2 MCs in my life. Reece really needed to take advantage of that wealth that she didn't feel she deserved and get some therapy. Girl had alllll kinds of problems. I understand Vin using something that happened in his past to motivate him, but holding on to a slight from a freakin 5 year old girl for 20 years is a little much. And Landon was a douche. He threatens them to break them up, then changes his mind and tells Vin that Reece has issues from the birthday party incident. So her brother knew for 20 years that she has issues and instead of telling her that it wasn't her fault or trying to get her help, he does nothing. Awesome brother. They get their HEA, but it's more a "for now" ending.

Let's hear it for the fake romance! :)

I really liked Reece and Vin--though why doesn't anyone ever ask me to make a deal like this for the summer? I'd love to learn to loosen up more! (Though I guess in real life the suggestion might seem more creepy than sexy, so maybe it's a good thing? Darn it)--and spent most of the book rooting for those two crazy kids to get together for real. Trust me, they take their own sweet time!

And then that epilogue--it was not quite what I expected, but it was fantastic. I'll never look at fancy pickup trucks (or oranges) quite the same way again ;)

But I digress...

My one issue with the story is that I really, really wanted Reece and Vin to discuss their pasts together way before they did, and not only because they're each still hung up on things that happened to them growing up, but also because that past is getting in the way of their mutual HEA. (Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I'm pretty sure that one of them doesn't actually have that conversation at all. Their sibling does it for them, which is less than ideal.)

Still, everything is finally revealed, and since they both had a part to play in the big breakup, making things right again was also a joint effort. I really liked what Ms Cleveland had them do there.

And did I mention the epilogue? It went a long way toward making up for some of the frustration that came before.

Fingers crossed that Ms Cleveland gives us future books with some of the secondary characters...

Rating: 4 stars / B

I usually don’t read short stories, but I took a gamble on this one. It was ok.
Vin and Reese had great hot chemistry. His misunderstanding of what happened when they were children, was carried on for too long.

When Reese proposes a fake relationship with Vin, she needs the sexual experience, he needs to prove to his investors that he’s no longer a playboy and can be a serious man in a relationship. They need to be seen by the media and the wealthy. Reese suggests sex in interesting places, something she’s always craved.

As they date and their deadline for six dates becomes more, Reese knows she’s falling for Vin. Vin on the other hand, can’t get over the hurt that Reese did on him. My thinking was, just talk it out. This is why I didn’t give it a higher rating.

Your classic CEO from a rough background read. Reece and Vin. One, a self-made billionaire and the other adopted into a powerful family. In other terms - a great match for one another. They strike a deal and they agree to … help each other out. But, as you’d expect - it becomes a whole lot more complicated. Honestly - these two just made a great pair and it was such a fun read.

Characters:
Establishing this right off the bat. I loved both of these characters. Reece is such a wonderful female lead and really has this great heart for people. Vin (as much as I may not like his name), I really liked him. He’s this hard-working, earned everything on his own, great guy. Marisa Cleveland just makes you want to like both of them. A large part of the reason behind that, is because she illustrates the reasons why they are the way they are. She carefully constructs an image of each of them that makes total sense from a human perspective. Of course, they do irrational things - they’re human! But, to a certain extent, they still make sense.

Writing and Plotting:
This was a story that was very much centred on the development o the couple themselves, A few events here and there, the major inciting action towards the latter half to he book, but other than that - it was not particularly focused on external events. Which, I actually enjoyed since I liked this couple. I did really enjoy the ending and the denouement - I felt as though it was satisfying and fit the story and the characters very well.
Side note - I really want to know more about Amelie and Landon. Really.

Overall - a great read if you’re looking for something to read that has likeable characters. Probably too steamy for me, but the characters were great.

Reforming the CEO was a a sweet story that follows Vin Ferguson and Reece Rowe. Reece  was adopted into a rich household and has lived her life by the rules her whole life, always making sure every hair was in place and never taking any risks. Vin Ferguson is the exact opposite. Growing up poor, Vin made a name for himself and is now a millionaire Tech Mogul, and a bit of a bad boy. When the investors for Vin's startup want him to tone down his image and settle down, a perfect opportunity arrives for both Reece and Vin. Reece wants a summer of fun and risk taking and Vin needs a "Good Girl" girlfriend to go on dates with. The two strike up a deal and so it begins.

I enjoyed this quite a bit! I felt it started off a bit slowly but once it got going, the pace was perfect. Reece and Vin were so fun to get to know, even though they are both terrible at communicating with each other! There was a few times where I wanted to shake them and tell them to grow up and C O M M U N I C A T E! Besides their terrible communicating, they had great chemistry and were so funny. This was just an all-around fun, easy read!

Recommended for opposites attract tropes, Romance( with a capitol R), and happy endings. Hoping for a sequel to this! Maybe, with Landon??

My heart went out to Reece during this whole book. This is a great reminder that money does not always make you happy. She had it in spades, but still felt unworthy and used in some of her relationships. She is such a sweet, down to earth, and generous young woman. I wanted her to have her own happy ending. And when she spoke her request to Vincent, it was priceless, especially his reaction. But after meeting her and being drawn to her, there was no hesitation in his answer. Oh the fun these two got into. Goodness that was sexy fun! I loved their chemistry, but wished they could have just had an honest conversation regarding their insecurities. But the ending was perfect. I only wish we had a little more in their epilogue, a deeper glimpse into their future.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

If you are looking for a quick, sweet, sexy read - look no further! I loved this book by Marisa Cleveland and can't wait to read more from her. Reese and Vin were perfect characters to me - they had so much chemistry and I felt their relationship was pretty believable. I definitely recommend this one!

While I am sometimes in the mood for a long drawn out romance, most of the time I love short, sweet, and sexy romance novels that I can devour in one day by the pool or snuggled up in bed. Reforming the CEO by Marisa Cleveland delivers on that desire in all the right ways.

Light in the angst, but heavy in the sex, this is one steamy South Beach-set romance that you will love to dive into. Vin is a tech-wiz, who built his company from the ground up; Reece is a society queen from the family of South Beach. Both hide painful issues from their past, and their lives were more entwined than either knew. But with the past hanging over them, a simple business arrangement might just lead to love.

Reece suggests sex in a multitude of interesting places, and in exchange Vin requests 6 dates to help re-vamp his image from playboy to Mr. Respectable. Reece is getting her fun summer and Vin is helping secure his company's future --- win-win for the two. I really loved the dynamic between Reece and Vin. It was equal, which I always want in a romance. I hate when the man is the Alpha, making everything about him. The chemistry between the two was fire; those fantasy sex scenes were surely steamy, but I also enjoyed the non-sex dates. Reece and Vin just clicked together.

Overall, I felt it could've been fleshed out more, but if there are more books set in this world (which maaaaaay happen based on the other characters) I would for sure read more! Fun, quick, and hot if you're looking for a new romance to snuggle with, check out Reforming the CEO by Marisa Cleveland.

This is the first time I've readable Ms. Cleveland's writing and Reforming the CEO was very enjoyable. The chemistry between Reece and Vin was off the chart. The more time they spent together the more they realized their differences anchored each other. A quick, light read to definitely add to your THE list! 😍

2.5 stars

Despite an interesting story idea, I found that it difficult to connect with the plot and characters. The author did a nice job, though, with creating childhood conflicts that carried over for both Vin and Reece into adulthood.

The writing style was not bad and I would be interested in trying a different book from the author!

This is my first book by this author. I liked the characters as individuals. I felt the author was successful in portraying Vin and Reece as real and accomplished individuals despite their low self-esteem due to childhood circumstances. I enjoyed following their budding friendship as they made arrangements to help each other over the summer. I just had a difficult time with the romantic part. I felt their relationship was more a friends with benefits arrangement than a til-death-do-us-part since any intimate encounters were hurried and furtive. Each encounter was barely worth a page, with little to no foreplay, no description of the actual encounter or any post coital observations. I liked how the past misunderstandings were resolved. A fairly quick read.

Reforming the CEO by Marisa Cleveland, is an interesting and engaging novel that takes place in South Beach. This corporate romance is replete with an entertaining plot, well-defined characters, and a very meaningful story-line.

Reece Rowe was adopted into an extremely wealthy family when she was very young. She has always felt that she was not good enough to be a Rowe, and as result, she spends most of her time being the perfect daughter. She works extremely hard for the charities her family supports, and takes great pride in doing a good job. Her life is relatively repetitive and a bit boring. Spicing it up with a hot man is what she craves. Luckily, CEO Vin Ferguson accepts her proposal for more than a few hot sexual encounters. In exchange, Reece accompanies Vin to some corporate events, so he appears to be in a stable relationship to both the public and his board.

Vin made a mountain out of a molehill, and as a result, he is on the verge of taking his very successful company public. His potential investors are not very happy with his playboy image, and they would prefer that his personal life be more settled. Vin and Reece have known each other for years, and their new quasi-relationship evolves into lust and love.

I enjoyed this book, however I found the pace to drag quite a bit. Reece and Vin are a hot couple, and I really enjoyed getting to know them, as well as the secondary characters. Overall, a solid read.

A quick, fun book!

This book is about 2 people that at first look, are very different. They make a deal to “date” each other to their own benefits. When they fall in love, they miss the chance to take things to the next level. I wanted to slap them both and tell them to “talk”...really talk!

This is the first book by this author that I have read and I liked it. Quick, fun read. Reece and Vincent were a good couple. They had trouble seeing what was right in front of them and it was fun watching them discover each other.
