I recently discovered this author and immediately fell under her spell. She has a beautiful way of articulating her thoughts and penning her words. The way that she phrases certain things oftentimes steals my breath for a moment. This book is different than I was expecting and that is not a bad thing. Where the other books had a darkness to them this was not.

There was so much to this book that I loved. The mention of books, the bantering, the chemistry, and sweet lord Jake in all of his "aholery'' of ways. I struggled with Charlotte, even with the bantering until the end of the book when I finally got her backstory. The ending came on too quickly for me. It felt rushed trying to cram in the resolution with the characters and the reasons for her nightmares. Had this been done sooner and then maybe used that as a catalyst into finding a different ending that didn't feel so rushed would have been better in my opinion. Especially, since she seemed to always want to find a reason to not trust him or to start a fight. However, I am not a writer nor could I do what this author does. I am just a reader and giving my opinion of what would have maybe helped me develop an affinity with Charlie.

As I mentioned, I loved the bantering between the characters. She was very quickwitted. Also, the steam was hotter than hell. I want a Jake. Seriously. I look forward to more from this author in the future.

A good story about two very broken people who find themselves falling in love. Charlie is fighting the demons left from the torture meted out by her father. Charlie is fighting for his professional future. The story is filled with intense conversations between the characters. There is steamy sex as they both try to forget their troubles and build a bond. You will love these two who have to overcome great barriers to find their HEA.

A quixk, easy read that shows the sexual relationship bwtween employer and new, naive employee. Definitely for the mature reader, I wouldn't be giving this one to my high schoolers. Difficult to believe storyline (awfully fat-fetched) this book delivered on the smut, however.

This had a good premise and the potential to be a good read but it swiftly fell into farce and I found it difficult to believe in the the storyline or the characters.

I found it really difficult to engage with the heroine. In fact, until the last couple of chapters, I disliked her intensely and could not figure out what on earth would attract the hero - Jake - to her. Regardless of her tragic past, her behaviour was totally stupid, unacceptable and unbelievable. A 22 year old desperate to get into the film business manages to land a great job and immediately on arrival - on meeting folk for the first time - just opens her mouth and lets fly with every ridiculously disrespectful, challenging and aggressive thought she can come up with. She repeats said behaviour with the producer Jake whom we are supposed to believe is so overwhelmed by her charms that he just puts up with juvenile behaviour from that point onwards? No way. The fact that she continued to be aggressive, insensitive and self centred for most of the story just annoyed me intensely.

Sadly, even the sex scenes failed to hit the mark. I love a well written sex scene - and for me that means a mix of hot and tender, sweet and dirty, romantic and erotic. I like the sex scene to indicate that this relationship is going to develop and that my h/H are moving into a tender, loving relationship. Even when the first (or even 2nd and 3rd), encounter is pure sex - I want to get the feeling it is the most wonderful and earth shattering sex they have both ever had. I felt many of the sex scenes in here were routine and mechanical - almost sex by numbers.

On a minor note, the constant use of the term ‘bangs’ was really irritating.

I thought the book was actually quite well written, but the characters needed more work. It was not by any means a bad book but the heroine ruined it for me I’m afraid. If I hadn’t received this as an ARC from Netgalley, I would not have finished it.

This book was everything described in its prologue and more! Hot Nights in Morocco was hot, funny and sad, I cried liked a baby at parts that where so intense that I almost shut down!
Catherine Wiltcher's writing flows with ease from the first page to the very last!!

Hot Nights In Morocco is a steamy, summer, hollywood esque romance.

this was by no means my favourite romance ever, but it was a quick and mindless read that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The chemistry, angst and smut was really good, and even though the plot was very far fetched and unbelievable in some places, it felt like pure escapism. There was some nice fluff, but it also had a darker undertone because of the plotline about both characters pasts. I think the sideplot could have been good, but it seemed to be sorted out very quickly, and I didn't really see the full ramifications of it.

Overall, this was a fun and fast romance that I would recommend to people looking for a smutty read but with a bit of a plot too.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book!

Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC for the book. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If Harlequin/Mills & Boon ever decide to go sexy, this is the kind of book that you will get. Specifically, the super annoying heroine and the ever egoistical hero.

I like the setting and the pace of the story just fine. At times I even find myself liking Jake Dalton, even though he has the charm of cutting board. Charlie, on the other hand,...

Here's my gripe.

Who, in their right mind, would be rude to the boss on her first day on the job? Am i supposed to buy the whole 'she's a strong female character that every woman should look up to' just because she decided to be a smartass with her male boss? While I don't expect her to cower, surely a healthy amount of respect towards your superior is not too much to ask for?

Basically, Charlie just rubbed me off the wrong pretty early in the story. Because of that, I find it difficult to warm up to her character, which indirectly affect my liking (or lack of) for this story.

I really enjoyed this book. It had a steamy romance and such nice fluff. I really loved the way that the author described the Moroccan countryside and it was such a fantastic read!

Hot Nights in Morocco by Catherine Wiltcher is a steamy romance with off the charts chemistry! I was drawn in from the beginning and could not turn the pages fast enough. I could not put it down!

This book has it all and is so well done you will be asking for more. It’s not just a steamy romance story it’s way deeper than that. It’s definitely a story about two people finding a way to make peace with their past.

This had the potential to be so much better if only there was a little more devoted to both Charlie's and Jake's past. They both experience heartbreak at the hands of their parents and it shaped them and affects their relationship with each other. Parts seemed rushed, but I thought the chemistry and angst was good.

**I received a copy of Hot Nights in Morocco from Entangled Publishing and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. The opinions below were not solicited in any way.**

Hot Nights in Morocco by Catherine Wiltcher the author is a new one to me but I tell you this book had everything angst, betrayal, childhood trauma (Charlie) awesome snarky conversation between Charlie and I just loved Lucy her BFF who is "The roots to her wings" and doesn't hesitate to tell you that reality is overrated. Oh did I mention hot off the charts sex between Jake and Charlie, yep it has that too.

Charlotte "Charlie" Winters is a freelance assistant to Max Dalton but its Jake Dalton who will rule her heart and soul even when she'll finally reveal her PTSD from her childhood. This story will take you from London, Morocco, LA and everything in between all while both Jake and she figure out if what they have will last.

Jake Dalton wants several things the movie to come under budget and on time, to hopefully convince the board that he should be the head of it and Charlie Winters. But when he has both his brother Max as producer, a mercurial lead actress that can throw a tantrum a 2-year-old would envy and of course sleep her way to the top of the studio. But first he needs to figure out how to convince Charlie that they're temporary but when that becomes not enough can her convince her to stay?

This is Jake and Charlotte book, Jake is a sexy arrogant hit shit movie mogul! Charlotte or Charlie is an assistant to iconic Hollywood director Max Dalton! They both get stuck in one of the most exotic places in the world! The more time they spend together the harder it is to deny the chemistry between them! They finally both give in and the sex is off the charts! But Jake has oh so many secrets and Charlie has a weary past that leaves her with trust issues! Can the two of them put everything behind them and cave into the chemistry that they have? This book was an OK read it just didn’t have something for me I’m not really sure how to describe it but it was still a decent read and definitely worth reading just not one of my all-time favorites! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

Charlie is only person that wants to get away from Jake!

Charlotte (Charlie) Winters needs a job to make it on her own without any help from her step-dad and she gets a job as personal assistant for director Max Dalton while he is shooting his next movie in Morocco. Max Dalton always works with his brother, producer Jake Dalton on his movies but this will be Jake’s last movie because he is going to take over as Global Studios as president since they inherited it from their father. Charlie was warned away from Jake but the first time they met but they couldn’t stop staring at each other. Normally people want something from Jake but Charlie just wants him to leave her alone in the beginning.

Charlie and Jake have many secrets in their pasts and both of them have a hard time opening up so there is a lot of tension between them and the book has non-stop action in the story.

Every now and then I pick a book to review and am very pleasantly surprised with how excellent it is. Hot Nights in Morocco was one of these. Wiltcher did an excellent job creating characters who were real, interesting and engaging. She also brought the film industry and movie set to vivid life. Her prose was flowered with clever phrases like "He's dominating the room with his presence alone, flattening us all to the walls with his force field of menace." or "...this man doesn't have a sense of humor. He had it fired and escorted off the premises a long time ago." that made the book all the better.

A retelling of Pride and Prejudice with a heroine who's not a fan of Jane Austin, the story included an ever more surly version of Mr. Darcy in Jake. Charlie, like Elizabeth Bennett, is delightfully snarky and outspoken. A bit more so to match modern practices. I loved her spunk and had great empathy for her in general. I wanted to see her get a happy ending. Jake, sigh, who doesn't love a lost Alpha who just needs a good love to get him out of his own way.

I highly recommend this gem!

4 1/2 Stars! A gut-wrenching romance!

Charlie starts her new job as assistant to Max Dalton, but she is not prepared for his brother Jake. Jake is everything she's heard about him ... gruff, mean, rich, a womanizer ... oh yeah and devastatingly handsome. And even though Charlie knows she shouldn't bite the hand that feeds her, she can't help the verbal sparing with him.

This book had me turning the pages into the wee hours of the morning ... I could not put it down. I loved that neither Jake or Charlie were perfect ... they each had their flaws. There is lots of angst between Charlie and Jake and and that just adds to the undeniable electricity that arcs between them. At times I wanted to give Charlie a shake and say "he's not worth it" ... but deep down I knew he was. A great book that I highly recommend and I can't wait for the next one!

Charlie has just started her dream job, as an assistant on a film set. Jake is the producer and every time they are together there is an argument. One night together soon turns in to more, but what will happen when the film is over?

In exotic setting of Morocco Charlie learns how to please her boss's boss. She's sass. It's foreplay for these two. Jake is producer of a movie set in Morocco. He's got issues and battles to fight. Charlie is fighting her past.
How do they make it work?

I thought this was a good romance not great. I had a hard time liking both characters. They both seemed so angry. The more I read the book the more I liked it.
