Rachel Dylan has done it again. Her newest book, Endgame was suspenseful and took unexpected turns. She did not disappoint!

Dylan opens the book introducing us to FBI Bailey Ryan and her two other friends. Their friendship was forged in law school, with Viv and Layla both working for the State Department. I'm already excited about the books that will follow this initial storyline! I imagine, we'll learn more about Viv and Layla and their careers in the fast pace city of Washington DC.

In Endgame, a murdered construction worker a Navy SEAL is murdered, Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini are thrown together to determine what happened. Initially the crime appears to be easily solved. All the evidence points to another SEAL Team member who claims his innocence. However, as Bailey and Marco uncover more evidence, it becomes very clear that there is much more going on than is on the surface.

Dylan has done an excellent job of introducing characters and building their histories and personalities as she weaves their responses to situations into the stories. I appreciated understanding Bailey and Marco's personal histories more, as well as the characters willingness to be transparent about their faith.

I also appreciate the relationships that Bailey had with her friends from law school as well as her desire to be kind to the rookie NCIS agent, Izzy. Izzy was so unaccustomed to someone attempting to genuinely befriend her, that she was initially suspicious. Since Bailey professes to be a Christian, I would hope that her behavior would be just that - one that was kind and desiring to build others up while still doing her job with excellence!

In short, Rachel Dylan did an excellent job in her first book of the Capital Intrigue series and I cannot wait for the next installment!

End Game by Rachel Dylan
Heart stopping. Keeps you on your toes! And definite page turner!
I read this in 2 days! From the very first page your attention is grabbed! From the whirlwind of different deaths, to the on-going investigation, and all of the different characters. I found myself rooting for the accused suspect and devastated later on. Also the interaction between all of the different agents and lawyers was really good. I really enjoyed the whole aspect of this story and really felt like it was playing out before my eyes!

This was a great read and I look forward to the next one!

To be honest I had been putting off reading this book because other books were calling my name. I think it was the Capital Intrigue that threw me off. I was not interested in reading anything caught up in the Capital… BUT I was soooo off it’s not even funny. This book was so good! I read it in one day and I am looking forward to the next book. I loved the connection between characters. Bailey & Marco and Izzy and Jay as a father figure for her! This Book Will keep you on your toes and your heart beating fast with all the action! I totally recommend this book!

I received a complimentary ARC of this book from NetGalley on behalf of the Publisher and was under no obligation to post a favorable review.

The deeper they dig the more dangerous it gets...

There was absolutely nothing not to like about this book! And it's, in my opinion, Rachel Dylan's best yet! End Game had all of the ingredients necessary to make a great romantic suspense novel, including plenty of surprises and 'switches on switches' as they said in the old Audrey Hepburn movie. Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down and I finished it the same day.

I was completely impressed with End Game and its well layered plot, good pacing, and the easy to like characters. Though, I'll admit I almost didn't like Marco in those first few pages as he came off a bit arrogant, but it didn't take me long to change my mind. Bailey, however, seemed like a friend right away.

One of my favorite things about this book is that both heroine and hero are already Christians. They both sometimes struggle with faith in light of the terrible things they see in their line of work, which I think is pretty realistic, but there is no convenient last minute conversion just so that they can get married. It was a refreshing change from what is usually seen in Christian romantic suspense.

Needless to say, End Game is by far my favorite Rachel Dylan book, well, at least until the next Capital Intrigue book comes along. So now, I wait, and wait, and waaaiiit...

3 men.
3 murders.
Coincidence? Connected? Careless?

This new release by Rachel Dylan is mind blowing as you investigate the crimes. The puzzle pieces are difficult to connect but throw yourself into the little things that add up and you will solve the case. Has a sniper turned on his own people? Will Bailey be safe? READ THE BOOK!!!

End Game is Rachel Dylan’s first novel in the Capital Intrigue series set in the Washington, DC area. This series seems to be a departure from Dylan’s earlier legal thrillers, but is a worthwhile read nonetheless.

The main characters Bailey Ryan and Marco Agostini are not lawyers, but special agents – one with the FBI and one with NCIS. When a Navy SEAL is found murdered with ties to an earlier murder, the two are called in to solve the case.

As in Dylan’s other books, everyone is a suspect! I was kept guessing to the very end of the book. In addition, the action was intense and fast-moving. The romance takes a second seat to the action, but is satisfying.

I will point out that there are numerous characters introduced in this novel, some of which will appear in later books, I presume. If you have a problem reading stories with a large number of characters, this may not be for you. Other than that, I would highly recommend this novel to readers of Rachel Dylan’s other books or readers who enjoy a good romantic suspense read.

End Game was a fantastic start to Dylan's new series, Capital Intrigue, and I can't wait to read more! The suspense had me hooked and I was intrigued throughout. So many twists and turns!

I loved the characters. They had so much depth. I enjoyed getting to know them more and the romance was nice, as well.

All in all, End Game is my favorite Rachel Dylan book yet! It was difficult to put down and I definitely recommend it to fans of romantic suspense.

The most recent release from Rachel Dylan is an exciting, seat-of-your-pants military suspense novel that hooks the reader from the first word. Set in Washington DC, FBI Special Agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini are in a race to find out who is murdering elite members of the military.

In their crosshairs is a Navy Seal sniper, but something isn’t quite right. Bailey can’t believe it is something the Seal would do alone, and as she digs a strategically, well-hidden trail begins to appear. As Bailey and Marco form a team to investigate, someone ups the ante by trying, almost succeeding, to kill Bailey.

Sparks are in the are as gun battles ensue, but that not the only thing sparking...Bailey and Marco are experiencing their own kind of personal sparks. An FBI Special Agent and an NCIS Special Agent together? Who says the two government agencies don’t play nice?

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and am under no obligation to write a positive review. All thoughts and opinions therein are solely my own, and freely given.

I absolutely loved this brand new christian fiction suspense book! I love reading series and I can’t wait to read more in the “Capital Intrigue” series by this author.

DOD, NCIS, CIA, FBI and Navy Seals… they are all represented in this fast paced suspense story. Lots of twists and turns in this story and wasn’t too complicated to follow and had a believable plot. Great characters and clean romance.

FBI special agent Bailey and Agent Marco worked really well together and I liked getting to know them individually and as a team. They worked along side Layla, Izzy, Jay and Lexi as they encountered conspiracies, murder, coverups, and possibly agency moles.

This was SUCH a great book! Lots of energy, suspense and drama-highly recommend! Once you start reading, you won’t want to stop!

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

This is not the first book I have read from Ms. Dylan. The plotline was full of mystery, suspense, intrigue, cover-ups, and a possible budding romance--the story had it all! I loved the characters' faith in the Lord and the unabashed prayers--it was all expertly woven into the story making it very genuine. This roller coaster ride with clues left along the way to figure out who was guilty was an enjoyable one! Curl up with some coffee for an intriguing read!

I voluntarily received a complimentary copy from the author. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Readers who love watching crime shows will dive into this book and not come up for air until the very end. I really felt as if I was watching one of these shows as I was reading. I followed the story line as the characters described them and lived through them. I was intrigued by the whodunit and why from start to finish. There were tons of twists and turns that I didn't necessarily see coming, and I love the way Dylan can pull that all together. I've been a fan of her books for some time now, and so I was excited to see she started a new series.

I will say that there is a lot of dialogue in this book. More so then Dylan typically writes with, and for that reason I found myself not able to connect with the characters. The love stories that were presented made me kind of feel like an outsider. The feeling like I was just watching a TV show. I don't mind when that happens, I just like to be prepared for it. I absolutely would read this story again, when I want to read something that's just a book to read and enjoy, not get heavily involved in.

The thing I loved about this book, and Dylan is a pro at, is the presentation of the gospel. There is a quote somewhat early on that just resonates with me - "The thing is that eve in the darkest hours, seeing the faith that my dad put in the Lord and the example he lived out for me really put things in perspective." I mean wow! That quote right there, and the few sentences that followed, had me pause for a moment and reflect. Was I this kind of example to others? My daughter? It sure made me think twice, and that's what I want a book to do when talking about the Lord. Make me dig deep.

Overall, I would recommend this book to those who don't mind a lot of dialogue. Again, it reminds me of watching a show like FBI, or NCIS. It had great suspense and a lot of moving parts! I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

In End Game, FBI Special Agent Bailey Ryan teams up with NCIS Special Agent Marco Agostini to solve the murders of several victims. While the first is a civilian, the others are elite military. Are the murders connected? Will they find the perpetrator before others fall victim? Although evidence points to a Navy SEAL sniper, Bailey doesn’t believe it. When it becomes clear that there is a coverup, she becomes a target. Now who can they trust? The more they uncover, the more the truth is unclear and the more danger they find themselves in.

Readers will be engaged from the first chapter when Bailey and Marco meet in the morgue, following the murder of a Navy SEAL who was off-duty. Dylan creates strong characters who are willing to dig for the answers and fight for justice. The relationship between Marco and Bailey is a clean romance but not the focal point of the story.

Dylan pens a tightly-written suspense filled with well-developed characters, a faith element that is clearly evident but not pushy, and plenty of plot twists. Dylan introduces an ensemble of characters that will most likely appear in future books. Look for the second book in this series coming in the fall of 2020.

YAY! A new series by Rachel Dylan!
I love everything that I read by her. She always writes stories that leave you in shock.
This is book one in the Capital Intrigue series. It grabs you in right away.
I read this book over a 2 day period - because I could not PUT IT DOWN.

My poor family was worried about me when I kept gasping with every twist and turn.

In this book - we see a series of murders happen. We see two departments who do not want to work together - try and find a middle common ground to solve the cases. All evidence points to a NAVY seal - but Bailey - does not think he was capable of doing it. Was he framed? Did he kill a team mate? You will have to read it to find out.

READER BEWARE -- this book will take you on so many twists and turns - you will think you have it solved and boom - another fork in the road.

I received a copy of this book through the author --- all thoughts are my own.
