A common sense approach to living life. Or if you’re not happy living the life you have, how to change it. Self deprecating with a touch of ego, Musk is the perfect writer to give the kind of advice women need to hear to enhance and enjoy life.

Ok so I'm about to admit how out of the loop I am but here it goes anyway. I requested this book because I adore Maye's modeling work. I had no idea she was Elon Musk's mom so, that was fun to find out. 

There is nothing mind blowingly new in this book but it is a fun little read and feels a lot like a front porch talk with your no nonsense grandma. I miss my no nonsense grandma quite a bit so I really enjoyed this read. Maye has lived a very interesting life and it was great to learn a bit more about her while also getting some pretty clear cut advice along the way.
