I simply love Donna Kauffman's writing and this book is a joy. In Catch Me if You Can she introduces a new setting, a lovely waterfall, and another visit to Blueberry Cove. She weaves together a story that blends deep friendships with interesting characters to create a lovely story.

This is an engrossing read. We get lots of time with Tag and Maura because they have many very involved conversations. We also get to peek into each one's thoughts in between conversations. And then we get to read their very sensual love scenes. It is all so absorbing and romantic that it is hard to put the book down to do anything else.

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.

This is a well written story of reconnecting with one's family history and the changes that TJ Morgan will make to his ordered and nomadic lifestyle. He travels to Scotland to view his late father's holdings and meets the lovely Maura Ramsey, who also guards her secrets well. I enjoyed their interactions and their new dependence on each other.

Thanks to the publisher and to NetGalley for an ARC; all opinions are my own.

I was glad to have given a chance to read this already printed book.

Tag was given a huge responsibility that he tried to run away with. However, it led him to the place where he supposed to be.

The first meet-up of Maura and Tag is truly destiny. It was cute but there was a misunderstanding.

I was glad that it was patched up as the story goes on.

Thank you Kensington and Netgalley for the ARC!

This is book 3 in the Men of Rogue's Hollow. It can be read as a stand alone but Tag's brothers have good stories also. Tag and his father parted ways many years ago with his dad's words, "You're dead to me" the last Tag heard. Now he's left with his dad's estate to settle with a surprise castle in Scotland that the brothers knew nothing about. Maura Sinclair is the keeper of the castle set in remote Scotland and has a very different picture of Tag's father. Now Tag is captivated with Maura and the land and the archeologist in him wants to explore the castle grounds. A nice romance with a few twists and turns. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This is one of my all time favorite DK books, and sure to be yours too. The characters have passion, but also historical lore thrown in that really excited me. Made me want to visit this wonderland and go exploring myself! I really enjoyed the family dynamics with Tag not wanting to deal with this new burden of property but also struggling to realize his father might have had regrets about their relationship and the letters!!! Oh how I wish I had letters like these from my father. Precious. I also think the side characters were really fun and quirky. Anyways, I didn't want to give too much away so sorry if this review is vague but I think it's best to read it because it really is top 5 of my Donna list!!!!

Taggart Morgan isn’t happy to be back in Rogues Hollow especially when the memories begin coming back of his childhood. He’s surprised by his recently deceased father’s will and the land that know one knows about in Scotland. He puts going back to the dig he’s been working on to take a trip to check it out and try to figure out what to do. Reading the estate managers letters to his father has TJ intrigued by her even before they meet. Maura Ramsey is trying to get funds for the family castle. When she comes home to find her best friend and boyfriend in her bed, she takes off early to talk with a banker. Tag and Maura are stranded together when a snowstorm has them both in a snowdrift. The instant attraction has Maura acting out of character. Tag hasn’t had feelings like this ever but knows it can’t go anywhere because of his job on the other side of the world. They agree on not exchanging names or pertinent information. They take refuge in Tag’s car and start getting very physical in the tight space. They are in the middle of having the best sex that either of them has ever experienced only to be interrupted by a good Samaritan, who offers to take them to the nearest town for the night. They spend a very passionate night together and Maura leaves paying for the room before Tag even wakes up. She leaves to go home only to wish that they’d exchanged information. Tag is having the same feelings and decides to play Catch Me If You Can so that he can find the woman and keep the relationship going until he heads back to the dig sight. When a vehicle comes up the drive Maura wonders who is coming to the castle. She’s just decided to contact the heirs of Taggart Morgan Sr. She’s very excited to see the man she spent the night with and that he tracked her down, only to be hurt when he doesn’t react as excited as she is. Tag isn’t pleased to realize that the mystery woman and Maura are the same. A disagreement happens when they realize who the other one is and the connection between them. They decide to investigate the claim that his father owns the property. Maura goes to get her documents and comes back to find Tag missing. He goes looking for a bathroom and he calms down to realize that his feelings are stronger, and the attraction can’t be denied, instead of looking into the documentation they begin the physical relationship again. The more Tag thinks about everything the more he believes Maura’s claim. They spend more time together getting to know each other. Maura gets Tag interested in the history of their ancestors. The more time Tag spends with Maura the more he doesn’t want to leave and gets to involve his family history. Maura gets a visit from her best friend to ask for forgiveness. Tag comes in at the end of the conversation wanting to know what they’re talking about and Maura reveals the recent past and her recent break up. Tag makes sure that Maura knows his intentions when it comes to her home. He shares his find with Maura, and they go check out his find and make plans to help renovate the castle and bring commerce to the nearby town connected to the castle.

This is a reprint from 2005 that I had never read. And I will be honest and say having read most of Donna Kauffman’s books and especially the newer ones and I can see how she has grown as an author. But that being said it was still a great book.

I loved some of the scenes that are in the book, especially the first meeting of Tag and Maura. The story is sweet and humorous. It is a light read but enjoyable.

I love that this story was set in Scotland in a castle the boys father bought years ago and now Tag is responsible for. And he meets Maura who has been caring for the castle for years. And the romance begins.

Such a great story to sit back and enjoy. It isn’t a mindless read but it is a simple read.

I will have to go back and see if I missed this whole series and pick them up.

Tag, is going through all his much hated father's papers after he's passed.
Tag hated his father with a passion, for all the abuse growing up.
In the papers he finds a property located in Scotland. The land estate agent, is Moira.
Tag, meets Moira and his quick retreat home might be in jeopardy.

I'm a big fan of Kauffman. With consistently great well rounded characters and plots, I always feel like reading one of her novels is well worth my time. I'm always well entertained. Read the blurb for the context of the plot but trust me that you won't be disappointed by reading this tale.

Catch Me If You Can is part of the Men of Rogues Hollow Series.. When Tag Morgan traveled to his partial inheritance in Scotland to meet the woman who was care taker of his estranged father’s property, so much could have happened. There may have been a blooming romance. Perhaps Maura Ramsey would have rejected Tag’s help at first. The castle was an adventure alone. The end of the book was arrived at in a hurried way and wasn’t given the full importance it deserved. A romance between characters could have been achieved without the constant erotica. For those of you who enjoy erotica, about 50% of this book is just that. The meat of the story was cheated, in my opinion.

When Tag unknowingly meets Maura on a snow covered mountain in Scotland, the last thing they expected was an instant spark. When Maura learns the real reason he is there their their spark turns into a flame of anger. Will they be able to tame the fire and find a solution?

This is a reprint of a previous Donna Kauffman book. It is the 3rd in the series but can be read as a stand alone. I did enjoy the realistic characters, the vivid descriptions and the authentic feel of this book. I have to be honest and say that I felt there were a few different spots where this book lost my attention., but quickly regained it.

Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to provide my honest opinion of this story!

Donna Kauffman creates a magnificent decrepit castle. Both of the main characters were vividly portrayed and both tugged at my heart. I cheered for them as soon as I met them. Their responses to the difficulties the author plagued them with felt realistic and believable. The surprise at the end was an excellent solution.

Tags father used to try to beat him into being high classes. Tag is death to his father and none of his brothers are close to him.tags father left him everything. Too slow paced for me.

This is a reprint of an earlier Donna Kauffman book from 2004. I have been reading Donna Kauffman’s books for more than five years. I love her style of writing. However, when reading this book I can see that it was part of her earlier endeavors. Her writing is so much better all these years later.

I really liked the characters in this story as well as the story line. While this is a third in a series about the men of Rogues Hollow you can definitely read this as a stand alone. This is a typical chick lit book, entertaining and doesn't make you think too hard. It had emotions, humor, good wit, some intense moments, steamy scenes, and some page-turning dialog. This is a cuddle-up, rainy-day kinda read and something good for passing time. I wouldn't mind reading more in this series and see how the other brothers met their matches and their stories.

I would like to thank the publisher, Donna Kauffman and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

First, this is a reprint from a release in 2004. Next I felt the beginning dragged. Setting up the characters and storyline for a chic lit romance was much too long. Last, I was not pulled into the relationships or story. Best thing is knowing Donna Kauffman has improved so much since this was written than you can skip this book and read her new books.

5 - "Forever entwined…" Stars!

Donna Kauffman turned up the heat with Catch Me If You Can, hands-down the sexiest book of hers I have read. The Men of Rogue’s Hollow certainly know how to charm a woman out of her panties, whether trapped in a car in a snowstorm, or staying in a rambling old castle that holds more than a few secrets.

"You’re fun to play with…"

Tag Morgan was hoping to sort out his dying father’s estate and get back to his life, unbeknownst to him his father has been secretly funnelling cash to a falling down castle estate in Ballantrae, Scotland. The letters that Maura Sinclair, the overseer of the estate has sent his father over the last couple of years leave him all sorts of intrigued, enough so that he jumps on a plane to see how things are for himself.

"Would ye claim me already..."

This story gets the sexy going pretty much from the time these two join each other on the page and it doesn’t really let up until the end. I love Donna’s books generally but releases from latter years have a more polished feel to them in relation to the sexy times, whereas Catch Me If You Can was down, dirty, raw and descriptive, made me want to go back and discover more of the authors works from the early 2000’s to see if they follow suit.

"We have things to work out, you and I… And there’ll be emotions involved and it’ll get messy."

I have everything crossed that the publisher has plans to re-release the other three novellas in this series, whether it be as single titles or a box-set, I’d be all over it like chocolate on a profiterole if they do, as I am dying to get more intimately acquainted with the rest of the Morgan brothers.
