This is another book where the idea is wonderful, but the execution was not the best. I didn't like the main character, therefore I couldn't connect with her, nor did I really care about what happened to her. I did like the exploration of the origins of her kleptomania, but other than that, I had a hard time reading because I didn't feel invested. The writing itself was stylistically nice, though. |
