Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me to review this book!

The book was okay. Not horrible. Not great. It held my attention. It just didn't feel special. A.L. McKittridge and his partner Rena are trying to discover the identity of the serial killer that has killed 4 women in 40 days. The plot sounds intriguing, and it is, but the main characters are just boring. A.L. is a cookie cutter, stereotypical male police detective: hardassed and gruff. There is nothing unique or special about him. Rena spends most of the book worrying about her marriage. It just didn't click for me.

I wanted more from the story. I wanted it to surprise me, or stronger characters. I didn't really get either.

Ten Days Gone is a romantic suspense book that was slow to start. It started to pick up halfway through, so it became tolerable to read. I am not that into books with romance in it, and had I realized that that was what this book was, I would not have picked it to read.

Overall an okay read, not great and not horrible. Definitely not a book for those who do not like "romantic" books.

Amazon review will be posted once published.

Four women dead, each murdered ten days apart, trying to find the common denominator becomes a race against time for detectives A.L. McKittridge and Rena Morgan and when they identify a possible fifth potential target, can they stop the killer in his tracks, or will she become victim number five.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable fast paced suspenseful book that will keep the reader on the edge of their seats, the main characters showed strength and determination when trying to piece what little clues they had to find their prey before he killed again.

Four women dead in forty days. That means on day 50 the killer will strike again. Will partners Rena Morgan and A.L. McKittridge find the killer in time? Only time will tell.

I throughly enjoyed this book. The author kept me engaged the entire time. I was desperate to find out who was behind the killings. The point of view does switch between several characters, even in the same chapters but it flows nicely and I never once got confused which I think speaks to the character development of this book. It can be challenging to switch between viewpoints without confusing the reader. The plot was great and it was nice to have two main detective characters, I don’t see that often either. This is a must read! I’m excited for more novels with these two detectives!

The book was a fair enough read. It was spiced up with vulgar words and sex, for no real reason. I finished it, slowly. It was one that I read and did not really feel much about any of the characters.

10 days gone is a very exciting thriller with the right amount of romance mixed in.
The characters were likable and I hope this is part 1 of a series.

This is the first book in this series. I really enjoyed it. It is a romantic suspense full of twist and turns. Has an awful lot of characters but the story was easy to follow. Could not guess killer till the end

Although the mystery is intriguing with twists and turns-the profanity distracts the reader at times. When reading a story of this genre, one prefers to concentrate to determine who did the murders-not skipping around to avoid the bad language. The characters are
Interesting in that they keep the action moving. It is not difficult to determine the culprit early on and is interesting reading about how the protagonists do the same. There are a plethora of characters I. The book-so many that one might make a list to keep them straight. A good read despite the objections listed.

Detectives A.L. McKittridge and Rena Morgan have a nightmare on their hands. Four women have been murdered, each killed 10 days apart. A staggering number of murders in such a short time has left the public in a panic. There doesn’t appear to be any connection between victims and the killer has left virtually no evidence or forensics. With little to go on, the detectives turn to Tess Lyons, the only woman (albeit a highly damaged one), who might be able to help them find the killer before another woman dies
