I was so very excited to read a book by Danielle Steel has it had been many years possibly a decade since my last read by her.  It was an excitement that faded after about two characters with the confusion of who was who telling me the story.  It changed POV too often for me to get a good flow of the story its become work to read more than enjoyment.  

I could not remember the author witing in this style before, so I was a bit disappointed to have to pull the pin just before halfway.  The plot was developing well buy the presentation of it was hard to follow at times.  It felt like we were getting all the details of this event but not the character's journey of this story.

This style of writing is not for everyone and it could be just what you would like so if you are a fan of Danielle Steel like I am and was in the past give this book a try.

Review:

The book deals with the poignant subject of underage drinking but also with the cost of taking one wrong step, how it can have far reaching consequences and change the lives of all people involved forever. The book was well written and gripping so once you start reading it’s hard to put it down. The plot was well set up and nicely structured. Each of the characters is introduced in great detail at the start of the book. Once this is done, the story unfolds. This made the characters realistic and compelling. 

Overall this is a solid story, which is very captivating but also thought provoking. The book deals with a delicate subject that is very relevant in today’s world. I enjoyed it and found it hard to put down. For fans of women’s fiction this is one book that you don’t want to miss
