This is an ideal book for middle grade kids with short attention spans. Whether read aloud or to themselves, certain kids will be amused by the humor ad relationships described. I found the stories so short, though, that they ddn't have much to remember or hold on to, nor did I find myself wishing that the stories were longer.

Teeny Weenies: The Eighth Octopus is definitely one that will be a great addition to our "Teeny Weenies" collection in our classroom library. I love that this one was made up of shorter stories, which would be perfect as a quick read or for reluctant readers.

I have always enjoyed David Lubar's books. This book is different in the fact that it includes a lot of short shories within the book. The stories are cute and it would be easy for a 2nd or 3rd grader to read. This would also be great for reluctant readers. This book may not win any awards but it will be a hit with middle elementary grades. I will definitely recommend this to those readers.

Twelve ventures into the delightfully and gently bizarre for youngsters up through middle grades. Good lessons wrapped in "could that really happen?" types of situations. My favorite of course was "The Eighth Octopus," but all are good!

ARC Copy...hmm still don't what to make of it however the good would be bite size stories in a bite sized package that would be consumable for the early readers.
