A good read all over. Nothing amazing, but I'll definitely be recommending this one to some of my patrons.

Comparing this to Ginsburg’s Howl is ludicrous. Howl has a laser focus or voice and energy, a heartbeat that assures a reader of true life within. Crito di Volta is scattered and random and indulgent. It takes patience to remain with the work consistently enough to be rewarded by the occasional impactful passage. I t’s a hard pass from me for any more of di Saverio’s works.

I’m not very good at doing reviews when it comes to poetry so bare with me.
This is a poetry book that centers around how this new way of life. Mortarismo. How it eventually brings together the human race.
I enjoyed this book and how it felt like it wasn’t a poetry book. I like how it felt almost like a novel. Yes, I know that it’s not one but that’s how it felt.
I know I’m not good at poetry book reviews because I want to keep them short without giving too much away.
