Good general information for people who want to start growing houseplants. I liked how the sections were organized by light requirements

As a relative beginner to the plant world this book was a wonderful look into all things houseplants from potting, to watering, to light, and everything else you would ever need. The pictures and layout of the book were absolutely beautiful and I really liked how the book was laid out as it seemed to take you on a journey through taking care of your plants.

There are interactive quizzes to help you figure out the light levels and humidity of different rooms of your home and thus what plants would be best suited to live there. Then there are descriptions of the various plants that would work well in those places and how best to take care of them.

This book would be good for people just getting into houseplants, but also for people who want a book with all the information in one place that is also beautiful to display and look at.

A friendly and reassuring guide to selecting and caring for houseplants. Apparently the "black thumb" is a myth (although all the plants I've killed over the years would disagree), and we are simply choosing the wrong plants for the type of space we have, or not caring for them properly. Includes a chapter on determining what kind of light you get in a particular room, and then sections for what kind of plants will work best in each environment. Lots of beautiful photography of happy plants.

A wonderful read for all houseplant enthusiasts, but especially informative for those just getting started. Houseplants for All is filled with beautiful pictures the reader will want to spend hours poring over and enjoying. Besides gorgeous photos of well-styled rooms filled with houseplants, this book serves as an informative "how-to" guide for anyone looking to begin their houseplant journey, or broaden their personal knowledge.

Been gardening for over 40 years and let me tell you, I learned so much information from this book (some new, some reminders) that I will have to have a copy for my private library. But my suggestion to you is borrow a copy first from your local library (if they don’t have one, ask them to purchase a copy). I’m certain that any serious gardener will want to own their own copy.
Information contained reminded me why my aloe plant didn’t make it as well as my prayer plant. I have over 15 potted plants but only 4 species. From this book I now see the value of having pots on a pebble tray as well as using cache pots, which I never heard of before. I downloaded the Light Meter app on my iPhone to help with detecting the types of light in various rooms in my home where the plants are located. There is so much more details included that made me so enthusiastic about owning this book.
I received an advanced reader copy from NetGalley in exchange for my volunteer review.

Absolutely loved this book! Though there are others with more plant profiles, this one is great because of the absolutely beautiful pictures, the quizzes, and the clear explanations. Easy to understand, it really is a beginner's guide.
