An interesting look at the world of Hyper-Education, defined by the author as extracurricular education. Pawan Dhingra draws from personal and professional experience in examining what motivates families to participate in this Hyper-Education. A look at mainly Asian and Indian students and the expectations and stereotypes that they experience through their education. Other students and topics talked about as well. Interesting look at certain topics involving a students or parents expectations.

I thought the book covered most of the topics I was looking for. From the perspective I am coming from it taught me why families send their kids to these extra learning centers. To push push push. But I also learned that some of the kids want to push themselves and it is usually one subject they get the extra help/push with. I recommend this book.
