So I had a funny relationship with this book, at first I really thought I wasn't going to enjoy this, I'm not a fan of the fake romance trope or even the Billionaire trope, when I first started this book I felt as though the characters weren't that well fleshed out however as I got more into it I found I really enjoyed this book and was rooting for them the whole way, I loved the christmas themes and it really added to the book for me, can't wait to read the next in the series.

Always been a fan of one sit romance reads and this one was no exception. Very cute, very cliche, but I like cliche. I liked how the characters complimented each other and how can someone hate a happy ending?

I absolutely loved this romance! the main characters had great chemistry, and the secondary characters added some great texture to the plot. Can't wait to read the next in the series.

Ohhhhh girl. You should defintely read this one at Christmastime. I liked it> it was steamy and hot and romanitc and christmas all wrapped up in one. read it.

Una storia molto carina, anche se trita e ritrita. Si legge molto facilmente, non ci sono drammi non ci sono problematiche che fanno piangere. Anzi è una lettura piacevole e senza fronzoli per un pomeriggio.
Lezione di sesso non sono niente male molto carine e delicate ma sexy sempre e comunque.
I segreti e le voglie di amore che si instaurano fanno da contorno ad una cittadina americana degna dei film romantici dove tutti si conoscono e si vogliono bene.

Veloce veloce ma meritevole anche se prevedibile.

This was a fun read. In the fake relationship to true love trope, the romance between Josh and Amelia was great! I loved watching the characters grow and fall in love. I can't wait for the next one!

Nice little beach read. It seems none of the billionaires have a lot of depth but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

This was a fun, light holiday read. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters and liked seeing where the story took them. I would be interested in reading more from this author and seeing about other books in the series.

A quick and easy holiday read. When her boss wants to have her pretend to be his fiancé she jumps at the chance. Secretly in love with him, a chance is there for heartache. Naturally a HEA, but a little rocky to get there. Things happen fast, and not too in-depth. Typical of a novella. Would recommend if you are looking for a quick holiday read. First book in a trilogy.

A cute Christmas read about a boss and an assistant and a pretend engagement. All good things! Josh is trying to buy the resort that has a special meaning since his mom passed. He just needs his assistant to help him seem like the family man the owner is hoping to sell to.

Of course they're both insanely attractive...and attracted to each other. And of course they have to share a bed. Which can all mean one thing - it isn't long before the pretend part of their relationship becomes not so pretend.

A sweet read with some spicy parts - perfect for the season.

Amelia was Joshua/Josh Denton’s assistant. Amelia was his right hand woman and had been for two years. Josh told Amelia he needed her help planning an upcoming trip Josh and Amelia spoke probably fifty times a day , five times a day a week . It was the other two days a week that always left Josh curious about her- what she did, who she saw whether she was still sucking up the ice tea in the comfort of her own home. Amelia was any Chief Development Officer’s dream and he knew better than to mess up by probing too far into her personal life. If there was anything Joshua excelled at it was focus and the quickest way to ignore how attractive his effective assistant came through, hyper-focus on the task at hand . He told her cedar Grove Hotel and Spa was what they were working on. He pulled his browser open to the listings. He stalked these things daily, sometimes hourly. It was the only way to get the jump on exciting new business properties to help expand his family empire. This one was particularly exciting . Joshua said it was his personal favorite Christmas destination as a child. Amelia said she knew that place, that she grew up down the street. The hotel was family owned and obviously the couple was looking for just the right buyer. So no matter the amount of money Josh was prepared to offer didn’t matter at all. They wanted a family oriented buyer. Josh asked if she knew the owners of the Cedar Grove Hotel. She said she didn’t personally but she thought their youngest had been a few years ahead of her. Than Josh asked if she were single. She said yes. The plans he wanted Amelia to make were for him to visit Cedar grove and woo the owners himself. He included Amelia in the mix and what if they happened to think she was his doting fiance? He started with she needed to hear him out. He wanted her to come with him and pretend to be her fiance. He said he would give her compensation when she protec=sted it was her home town and everyone knew her there. Amelia said Josh he wanted her to lie . Amelia said she wanted a promotion and wanted to be a location scout. Than Josh said he’d hate losing her but he knew the day would come. Josh said he’d give her the promotion. Amelia than told Josh they had a deal. Staying normal around Josh required a fair degree of compartmentalization. The guy was sex on legs, and didn’t even know it. Her job was cushy and she was gunning for the upper echelon. Besides if she got out from under the penetrating stormy blue gaze of Josh, she might be able to find any other man attractive again and maybe even find a boyfriend. Until than she’d continue beating back her attraction for him. If there was anything Amelia strove to protect in her life, it was the fact that her career was her life and everything else came later. Amelia knew Josh better than a lot of other people in his life. Amelia decided having a hot fiance wasn’t so bad after all. For now at least. But Amelia did admit to herself she was in love with her boss.
I loved this book. I loved Amelia and Josh together and how they interacted. I was so happy when Josh told Stabn the truth. I loved that Josh didn’t want to hold Amelia back but wanted her with him. I loved the pace and the plot. I read this in one sitting as I couldn’t put this down. I loved how Amelia and her family were so close. I loved everything about this book and found nothing to criticize in it happily. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

A sweet romance with just the right amount of steam. Josh isn't your typical billionaire and Amelia is charming and down to earth. The chemistry between these two jumps off the pages. The small town vibe at Christmas will get you in the holiday spirit. What starts as a ruse becomes so much more topped off by the perfect ending. Loved this first book of a new series by Leslie North.

The first in a new series by Leslie North, The Billionaire’s Christmas Fiancée, is Josh Denton (the owner of Denton Hotels) and Amelia MacTaggart (Denton’ personal assistant). I liked this, the characters were engaging and the story enjoyable, a promising start in the Christmas with the Denton Billionaires.

Josh doesn't act too much like a billionaire. He is very family oriented and is worried about not getting the hotel deal. This is also for family reasons. I loved this book.
