Really enjoyed this book. The stories intertwine nicely although the storyline of Dylan and Flora seemed a bit superfluous as it didn't lead anywhere, and this looks to be the final book in the series.

This is a story of the village of Treweham, an estate, a racing stable and a theater company.      The population of this community has been in earlier books.      Although this is the most recent book in the series, it is easy to follow the action.       Characters and situations from previous stories are fully explained to the reader.

This book wraps up other stories as well presenting us with two new characters, Christie and Daniel.

Christie and her husband plan to  purchase the pub, The Templar.       They are beginning a new life together.       But, then she finds that her husband has started his new life with another woman who is pregnant with his child.

Facing devastation, Christie is taken under the wing of the present owner Dermot.     He and other villagers help her on her way to being a publican and an inn keeper.      

Daniel is looking for a place to find a home which will be appropriate for he and his young daughter, Emily.      He is in a custody battle with his ex-wife.    When he walks into the pub, he and Christie make a connection.    He believes he may have found a friend.      And he has ideas to help her redecorate the pub.    

The two of them work well together.      Each of have a strong sense of honesty, hard work  as well as caring.  

The lives of Christie and Daniel include both highs and lows.      That is true of everyone who lives in Treweham.       Just as in the real world, no one gets through life unscathed.

The characters in Ms Morgan's stories are always interesting.      None of them are perfect, but each of them seem as though they could be a familiar person in life.     

Christie and Daniel are living their lives and trying to do their best to create a good lives.     

This is a wonderful book about a village and the people who live there.         There is love here.     Family love as well as romantic love.      Nearly everyone supports their friends and neighbors as well as family members.      And with kindness and support, people are able to deal with the pain in life as well as the joy.      Overcoming difficulties are a part of this story.

Ms Morgan draws the reader into the story and provides a flowing plot which does not include any down time.      Action moves along at a good pace but at no time is the reader made to play catch up.

I really enjoyed this book.

Having not read the previous books in this series I thought I may be quite confused but I actually wasn’t! I got to know each character very well. It starts with Christie turning up to Treweham in tears. Her marriage has broken down and she now owns The Templar. Daniel has ongoing issues with his ex then he meets Christie. The Cavendish-Blake brother each have their storyline so ‘A Country Dilemma’ is packed to the brim with drama where everyone’s emotions are flowing. 

Sasha has created very likeable characters and when I got the chance to pick this story back up it held my interest with every page turn. I loved the writing style, it’s easygoing and I didn’t want to turn the last page. I am, at some point definitely going to read this series in order to experience the events of the other characters such as Megan and Flora (to name a few!) 😊
