Amazing life story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. One always thinks people with fame and fortune have had it easy but it often is not the case,as is John Tesh's journey. His faith in God and trusting in Him to lead his path along with sheer determination and hard times, hard work, led him to success. This is a book that once you start is hard to put down. He includes how he and his wife Connie Selleca met and how she helped lead him to a true relationship with Jesus Christ. He is not being preachy but includes some of their favorite verses and how that has helped him through tough times and a cancer diagnosis. How he now listens to that ''still, inner voice'' and how it eventually led him back to music and the life he was meant to live. There really are no coincidences and he tells how obstacles that were put in his path were soon removed. It is a great testimony to his and Connie's lasting relationship, his career and his Christian life. Great book!
I received an Advanced reader copy of the book and was under no obligation to provide a review. The opinions expressed are my own. Many thanks to John Tesh, the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

This feedback is done courtesy of Net Galley for giving me a sneak peak before being published.

I'm not exactly a fan of self-help books, and worst of all those which cherry pick some Bible passages to support their views, and unfortunately I found Relentless to be exactly that. Indeed, he's desire is to encourage people to be determined to success, with help/faith in God, but as he communicates his story, it appears that as individuals we are the Sovereigns and determinants of how our lives will end up looking like, and of which any serious student of the Bible knows isn't so. So, in short, I'm saying that this book isn't Gospel-centric in nature, no matter how many verses of the Bible it contains.
