An extremely helpful look at the upcoming books launching in 2020. The Spring/Summer review of new books is a great way to find out what books you want to read in the next few months. It highlights a variety of genres and authors so there's something for everyone.

This Publisher’s Lunch buzz edition is a book lover’s delight. As though there isn’t enough to read there are dozens more to look forward to. Not just ‘old’ favourites: Richard Ford, Joyce Carol Oates, and Anne Tyler but tonnes of new debut writers in particular which piqued my interest: The Party Upstairs by Lee Cornell; Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy and Valentine by Elizabeth Wetmore. In non-fiction there is: Book of Rosy by Rosayra Pablo Cruz; Hollywood Park by Mikel Jollett; and Here we are by Benjamin Taylor.

Also I am really looking forward to The Death of Vivek Oji by Akwaeke Emezi as I really enjoyed her debut novel Freshwater which I found thanks to Netgalley

Extremely well-formatted in giving readers everything they are curious about in future reads:

+ the cover
+ the summary
+ a sample read of the first couple of pages
+ the genre
+

As a preview and guide for anyone looking to stay in-tune with current reads, this is a very good resource and one that I look forward to leafing through many a time this year to see what upcoming publications catch my eye. So convenient to have them all in one place!

Thank you #BuzzBooks for once again impressing with a tremendous collection of excerpts of upcoming titles. There were so many that are exciting to look forward to in here that I can’t even list them all. This maybe the best collection, or representation for upcoming books, yet.
Unfortunately, if I even get approval for a fraction of those that I’ve now requested (against my better judgment), I will still have messed up my TBR for awhile. I will be back to digging out from my stack!
So, thanks for all of the wonderful titles! I can’t wait for the new releases to come.

Thank you for Buzz Books! I love reading about all of the upcoming titles and picking a few for my "must read" list. Infinitely helpful and treasured.

I always enjoy previewing books through Buzz Books! It’s a good way to get hyped up about upcoming releases and trying out if new authors will work for you. I’m especially excited to try Veronica Roth’s new adult book after this preview.

What a unique way to choose a book from Net Galley! Thank you for the opportunity to sample the plot and writing style of authors with whom I am not familiar. I have read the plot summaries of fiction, debut and non-fiction choices and the samples of those that intrigued me. I have already made my requests through Net Galley. I very much enjoyed the inside edge into the publishing business.

I love this compilation that provides an opportunity to preview many upcoming titles. The layout is very helpful, with it being categorized by genre including a section of particular interest, debit authors. I also appreciate that links to request egalleys are included at the end of excerpts. I imagine I’ll return to this regularly when I want a taste of what’s new and to add to my TBR.

Wow! What an amazing and extensive list! I'm making notes and can't wait for so many of these. The fiction section looks amazing, but the debut section also has many that I will be reading for sure.

This is so helpful! I love the breakdown between buzzy books, debut authors, non fiction, etc. It makes creating my "to read" spreadsheet so much easier. I also enjoy the excerpts, though that do make me itch to read the full copy !:)

These are great teasers/guides for the upcoming season's new releases; I always find 1 (or 12) books that I have to add to my TBR and highly recommend downloading for the list of books and then going through the various excerpts.

This is a great tool for book bloggers/reviewers like myself. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the number of titles on NetGalley and sometimes it's hard to choose what to request, knowing some of those will be denied. By reading through this summary of spring/summer releases, I'm able to take notes on titles I'm interested in. I requested a couple now, and have a few more I'll probably request later!

This book breaks down releases into genres, then gives a cover, synopsis and excerpt for each book along with author info, publication details AND a link to request to a galley.

I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled for more of these in the future and recommend them to my other reader/reviewer friends.

Buzz Books is such a treat to readers from Netgalley. I hurried back to request The Love Story of Missy Carmichael and The Vacation by T.M. Logan. I'm grateful to have these new books and many more on my radar.

A lot of interesting titles! I am very excited for some of these books to be released. There were also some books I had mixed interest in until I read bits of the excerpts; I’ve now added a few of these titles to my TBR list! (And, of course, there were some I had little-to-no interest in and still do, but that’s okay.)

Thank you for this preview, Netgalley!

I have truly appreciated the opportunity to read excerpts of upcoming new releases in Buzz Books Spring/Summer 2020 collection. This edition includes excerpts from authors such as Amy Engel, Sue Monk Kidd, David Nicholls, Veronica Roth, and many more.

The collection is divided into the following sections:
Part One - Fiction
Part Two - Debut
Part Three - Non-Fiction
Part Four - Young Adult

Personal suggestion:
As a fan of the crime & thriller genre, I would appreciate if this genre could receive its own section within Fiction.

I have enjoyed browsing through the new releases. Extra Kudos for the detailed Imprint and Publicity Information provided at the end of each excerpt.

Buzz Books how I love you. As soon as I see these available in netgalley I do a little happy dance. I love the excerpts and the contact information. Super helpful resource for a book blogger and reviewer. So well put together. I look forward to reading many of these spring and summer releases.

I have never requested a BUZZ BOOKS before. This was very helpful for me to know what is coming out and to read about books with authors that I am not familiar with. There are some good books coming out this spring!

Buzz Books is so dangerous. It's a gateway drug for me. It gives great insight into the up and coming books and authors. And my NetGaley requests are through the roof now.
