Wow! There are so many good books coming out! I'm really not ready! I love these Buzz Books......they give you a little taste of the book and allow you to see if you are interested in reading them. I requested quite a few and can't wait to get on with my reading year now! Many of the books are Penguin Books and they don't really approve me, but I tried for a few anyway!😁

I look forward to every single Buzz Books to check out upcoming titles and get a full overview of new or new to me authors as well as old favorites. This first edition of 2020 is packed with promising reads. It has familiar names such as Brit Bennett, Sue Monk Kidd, and Veronica Roth, Debut authors, Nonfiction and YA. There is truly something (and plenty) for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you Buzz Books for the spring summer 2020 edition! I always enjoy reading excerpts of upcoming releases to help me decide on both the future new releases that I’d like to read as well as discover those I don’t know about yet. Always a great tool to use!

I never would have imagined that another book could make me close my unputdownable read. Yet, once again, the new edition of Buzz Books is here, and with barely a glance at my current read, I put it aside and started reading all the lovely excerpts. Forgive me current read, you know nothing else would come between us, and after all, I will be back soon!
For anyone not familiar with Buzz Books, each edition contains several book excerpts that have been given high praise or 'buzz'. This edition has forty-four excerpts, as well as many, many other books that are being published in the Spring/Summer of 2020. I've had readers tell me that they don't enjoy excerpts, which is of course fine. Think of this then as a huge potential TBR list, letting you know what is going to be published and when, and skip the excerpts!
I've read some of these already, thanks to ARCs, but my list continues to grow every time I finish an edition. Under Fiction, you will find notables, highly anticipated, emerging voices, debut, and commercial books. Nonfiction has politics & current events, social issues, science & technology, history and crime, essays, criticism, & more, and biography & memoir. Something for every reader and as always, I hope Publishers Lunch never stops publishing Buzz Books!

I love the privilege of to reading excerpts from new books! I am always on the lookout for a good read and appreciate the opportunity to preview new authors or catch up with my favorites.

I love these collections because they always make me aware of titles that weren't previously on my radar, as well as reminding of titles that I already knew about that had forgotten were coming out this year. Such a great reminder that 2020 is going to be an amazing, and groundbreaking, read year!
