I loved this book so much. The main character, Salina, was wonderful. This is the first book I've read by Amy Clipston, and I look forward to reading many more!

I loved this wonderful book by talented author Amy Clipson. She has such a great style of writing that lifts me of my reading chair and drops me into her setting. With her descriptions and pleasant flow of words I feel as if I am there. The characters are easy to imagine and very relatable.

This is Book Two in her series and it is every bit as good as Book One. The returning familiar names made me smile. The Farmers Market sounds so quaint that I am ready to take a trip there to shop, drink coffee, and eat sweets. If you haven’t read Book One, you will be okay starting with this one. Although you will miss a really good book if you do not read it, too.

This is the story of vegetable and fruit stand owner Salina. She sells the best, most cared for produce around. Mennonite restaurant owner Will starts to buy things from her and sparks begin to fly. Did I mention he has been dating someone, Caroline, for years?

This book is fantastic. I highly recommend it. The spiritual elements are refreshing and inspirational. There are discussion questions at the end, but sadly no recipes. I give this book a 5 out of 5 star rating.

honestly, I couldn't see a resolution for the MCs without someone getting hurt (more so than they were) but as always, Clipston finds a way to make it happen, and believably, too. I love that she's included a cat in this series, named after one of her own, and that Daisy has (ahem) adventures of her own.

I absolutely enjoyed this book. I loved the fact that the major characters were both plain yet one was Amish and the other was Mennonite. It showcased the similarities and differences yet allowed for each to subtlety work with the other. Great setting! All of the cooking at the restaurant made me hungry! I definitely recommend it.

The Farm Stand by Amy Clipston is a wonderful book that deserves a 5 star rating by me. This is the first book of hers I am reading and I am happy to add her to my list of favourite authors.

I am so happy to be reading another Amish book. I am excited to say I have found a new genre for myself. It is the Amish fiction genre.

The first few pages warmed me up. I can’t help admiring the strong family ties and the food. I wanted to open my own booth right there in the Farm Stand with Salina and Christiana.

I was impressed by Salina’s business ways. She was so precise, thorough, neat, organised and friendly.
I could understand why Will was always coming to her booth for his restaurant food supply.

I love the book cover. It helped me in imagining Salina in her farm stand. That’s a beautiful cover.

There is an animal in this book,a cat called Daisy. She is the market cat and loved by Salina and her cousins. I love how worried they were over not seeing Daisy for a week. I am happy to see characters that has sympathy and love for animals.

While enjoying this book,I was envious of Salina’s garden. The way the author described it,I wanted to buy a land and plant home grown corps!

Oh! You really need to meet a character called Sara Ann in this book. I laughed at her conversations and her nosiness in other people’s business. She seems kind but nosy at the same time.

I enjoyed the happy ending! God surely wants his children to be happy and he granted Salina and Will their heart desires.

Salina Petersheim, a young Amish woman, loves growing and selling her produce. Her popular farm stand at the market brings a new customer, Will Zimmerman, an Old Order Mennonite who runs the restaurant across the street. Although they each have a special friend whom their families expect them to marry, their blossoming friendship seems to be growing into something deeper and they seek time together. How could a relationship between them ever work out? Readers will empathize with them as they struggle to do what is right and with the pressures of the expectations they feel from others—whether from Salina’s bishop father or Will’s girlfriend. I enjoyed the characters and the story. I received a copy from Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

Whenever I'm in the mood for an Amish book I turn to Amy Clipston. She's one of my favorites in this genre. This is a sweet love story between Will, a Mennonite restaurant owner and Salina, a young Amish lady who owns a farm stand. This book follows The Bake Shop in the Amish Marketplace series and it's fun to once again see all the characters we loved and find out where they're at in their lives now. The Farm Stand is a real treat if Amish fiction is your thing!

I enjoyed seeing the different interpersonal relationships play out at the farmers market. It made me look forward to all of the fresh produce of summer!

The story is so well written, that I can picture in my mind all the scenes, like a film: Salina at the market, and Will in the restaurant.
Wedding is a big deal for amish people, Will thinks "He was trapped like a caged animal at the zoo".
"His relationship felt stagnant, stuck somewhere between friendship and true, sustaining love".
I love walking in a farm market too, meeting friends, hear news, chatting, smell delicious baked cakes, see the color of vegetables,
ask for recipes suggestions. I can relate with Salina for losing her farm stand!
wonderful story, hauntin, inspirational, I recommend it, enjoy!

The Farm Stand by Amy Clipston is the second An Amish Marketplace Novel. Each book can be read on its own, but I recommend reading this charming series in order. Amy Clipston is an amazing storyteller. She manages to engage the readers attention and hold it until the very end (make sure you have two or three free hours before beginning one of her books). Salina Petersheim loves working in her garden where she finds solace and it is where she prays to God. She feels like she has few choices because of her father’s expectations. Being a bishop’s daughter is not easy especially when her heart leads her to a Mennonite chef. I could understand Salina feeling intense pressure and being afraid to speak up. You could tell Salina was feeling a variety of emotions as was Will. I liked that The Farm Stand featured Old Order Amish and Mennonite. I had wondered how a marriage between the two different faiths was possible and how it would work. I thought The Farm Stand was well-written with steady pacing and developed characters. I liked revisiting the four cousins from The Bake Shop. All four are present once again in this tale and we get to see how Christiana and Jeff’s relationship is progressing. I liked the messages present in The Farm Stand. My favorite was that God has a plan for each of us. We need to be patient for things only happen in His timing, not ours. I also found the side story about Daisy, the marketplace cat, to be sweet. The ending left me smiling and looking forward to Bethany’s story in The Coffee Corner. The Farm Stand is a poignant Amish tale with plentiful produce, a missing moggy, a determined dad, a muddled maedel, a confused chef, and a glorious garden.

When Will, a Mennonite young man, is searching for fresh, local produce to use at his restaurant, he meets Salina, an Amish young woman with a produce stand, at the Market. They soon become friends and share the struggles of their relationships with one another. They realize that they are dealing with some of the same issues and have more in common than they think. Will this friendship turn into something more or are they just not giving it their all in their current relationship?

This was such a great book. I found it hard to put down and needed to know what would happen next.

I am so enjoying this fantastic series. I love that the Amish Marketplace is the main area where these books are based. I did not want to put this book down. I love how Salina and Will work their way to being friends. It is hard not to feel hungry as you read this series. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I received a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

This is my favorite Amy Clipston book! Wait a minute, I say that about all of her books after I read them but this one really was excellent it had an

extra depth to it.

When is what seems like a fun and loving relationship to outsiders not

really what it appears to be?
If you're in a relationship for a number of years and others expect you to marry should you give into the pressure to do so?

These are some of the questions an Old Order Mennonite man and and Old Order Amish woman ask themselves in their separate relationships.
I love gardening and was thrilled to read all about the fresh produce grown in Salina Petersheim's garden, where she finds comfort in her

closeness to God there.

Her half acre garden supplies her booth at the Amish market and she's just started being the fresh produce supplier for a restaurant too, keeping

her busier than ever.

Mennonite chef and restaurant owner Will Zimmerman has a business relationship with Salina because she supplies the fresh produce for him. What happens when this business relationship threatens to take a romantic turn but can't because Will and Salina are each involved in their own separate relationships but yet these relationships just don't seem to have

the right feel to them anymore.

Throw in a Bishop for a father and a Deacon for a brother into the mix for Salina and it's even a more stressful situation.

Trust in God, he will give us the best possible outcome in situations though it may not be the way we envisioned it and it's in his timing not ours. We

must trust in God for all things!

Highly recommended, I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this series!

I absolutely loved The Farm Stand. This is the second in the series after The Bake Shop. This book focuses on Salina, who runs a produce stand in the marketplace. She meets Will when he starts buying her produce for his restaurant. Both Will and Salina are in other relationships when they meet. Also complicating matters is the fact that Will is an Old Order Mennonite and Salina's father is the bishop. Will their love overcome these obstacles? I love that the author makes each book a standalone, but she also gives updates on the other characters that we have met previously. Her characters are so lifelike that we really feel like we know them and are a part of their lives. I cannot wait to read Bethany's story next! Thank you to Zondervan and Netgalley for the ARC. All opinions expressed are my own.

Amy Clipston has given us a simply wonderful addition to her, An Amish Marketplace Novel series With The Farm Stand... This book follows The Bakeshop, the first novel in this series.

The Farm Stand is Salina Petersheim's story of her farm stand in the Amish Market. Salina is the daughter of the Amish Bishop in this area and sister to one of the deacons. She had always felt she was not allowed to think for herself, even her boyfriend was chosen for her by her family. Not that Josiah was a wonderful person, and a good friend, but was she really in love with him enough to become his wife?

William “Will” Zimmerman, a Mennonite chef who runs a restaurant located next door to the Amish market begins to buy his produce for his salad bar from Salina and they quickly become friends and business associates, but could this really be more than just friendship. No way this could ever become more because each was dating
others and Salina is Amish and Will is Mennonite.

The question remains, will they continue in the current relationships or will God present them with a new plan.

This is a 5-star book. You need to get yours today.

I was given an ARC from Zondervan in exchange for a fair and honest review.

We are back at the Bird-In-Hand Market, and back with some characters, that now feel like friends. We are updated and with Christina and Jeffery, and they are also with us in this read, but the focus here is cousin Salina, and her roller coaster of emotions!
Salina Petersheim has a love of gardening and has turned it into her job, she grows wonderful vegetables, and soon catches the eye of a Mennonite restauranteur whom ends up buying her out each day she is at the market.
The author has us standing with Salina as she tries to fall in love with the boyfriend her parents want her to marry, but they sure seem to have a platonic relationship. Will these people be hurt? Will they end up marrying the wrong individual to please others? Answers are forthcoming!
This book quickly became a page turner that I never wanted to end, and yet, I need the answers.
I'm hoping for another visit here!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Zondervan, and was not required to give a positive review.

Another sweet love story by Amy Clipston. Salina Petersheim runs a booth at the Amish market and is known for selling the best, freshest produce in the area. Her father is the bishop of her church district and her older brother is a deacon. Even though they’re a very close family, Salina gets tired of being compared to her brother and pressured to marry her longtime boyfriend, Josiah. She isn’t even sure that he’s the one she wants to marry. He feels more like a friend than a boyfriend. Her parents approve of him and he’s very kind and handsome. But, Josiah just doesn’t warm Salina’s heart the way she feels a husband should. Then, she meets Will Zimmerman, the handsome Mennonite chef who runs a restaurant next to the Amish market. The two of them click instantly and become fast friends. He asks Salina to provide the produce for his restaurant and, as they build their business relationship, they find themselves falling in love. The problem is that they are both in relationships that they feel trapped in and Salina’s father wants her to marry within the Amish community.

This is the second installment of The Amish Marketplace series and it’s every bit as sweet and lovely as the first book. I love how Amy Clipston writes such imperfect, realistic characters who highlight the importance of God’s grace and of relying on friends, family, and faith. I always enjoy Amy’s writing because of how uplifting her stories are and they never fail to make my heart happy.

Salina Petersheim owns a produce stand at the Amish market. She loves gardening and is known for having the freshest and most delicious produce in the area. Her father is the bishop of her church district, and her brother is a deacon. Salina is very close to her family but feels pressured to live up to their high expectations. When she meets Will Zimmerman, a Mennonite chef who runs a restaurant next door to the Amish market, there's an immediate spark between the two and they form an instant friendship. Will soon becomes one of her best customers and their friendship quickly turns into something more. But both are already in committed relationships and come from different religious backgrounds. Can they have a future together, or will they end up marrying the wrong people to please their families?

This is the second book in Amy Clipston's Amish Marketplace series. I thought it was a wonderful and heartwarming read. The story is well-paced, beautifully written, and held my interest until the last page. The author did such a good job of describing Salina's delicious produce that I found myself craving vegetables, particularly green beans. I liked the message of trusting God for the next step and knowing he has a plan for each of us, we just need to pray for guidance and direction and be patient because it's all about his timing, not ours. The characters were wonderful and so realistically described that I felt what they were going through. Will and Salina's story shows us why communication and honesty are needed in a relationship and the importance of following God's plan, no matter how difficult it may be to do so. I also loved the relationship between Salina and her cousins and look forward to reading their stories.
Overall, this was a heartfelt story, with a sweet romance, heartwarming family relationships, and delicious food. If you are a fan of this genre, then I highly recommend this book.
