I truly adore Amy's book's. she's a fantastic story teller. I I alway's get in to her book and can never put them down, but want to know what happen's. truly loved all the character's in it. I love the title of this book, fit with the story.
I want to here about more of the character's that was in this one, in the next book to the series. I hope to get to here some more I feel there is more unfinished telling's of them, even tho they wasn't the main character's. I can't wait to read the next book.

This installment sends us back to the Amish Marketplace series. I love this series because it shows how young women can run businesses and be successful. It also shows their integrity and determination. This story deals with about faith and falling in love with the wrong person. Both Salina and Will find themselves in less than appealing relationships. When they strike a business deal, does it become more to each? Will their family and friends accept a relationship between them? Amy Clipston shows readers how communication and faith can bring people together. I await the next installment and will continue to enjoy Ms. Clipston's other books. She writes stories that will bring a smile to your face and a song to your heart. I received a copy through Netgalley. A review was not required.

The second book in the Amish Marketplace series finds Salina running her produce booth at the market. When a new customer, Will visits her booth, Salina is immediately attracted to him. This book is very emotional journey of two people finding their way through difficult choices. I love the camaraderie between Salina and her cousins. I did not like the intimidating manner of some of th!e characters. Enjoyable read! Recommended!

This is the next installment, in Amy Clipston's Amish Marketplace Series. She hit another home run, with this story of love and acceptance. Salina has her produce stand, in the market, and Will, a chef with his own restaurant, has found his garden of Eden, for quality produce. But, Will, a Mennonite, is becoming more and more interested in this Amish woman, Salina with a personality that starts to trip his heart. Both of these characters are already involved with other people and will this sense of obligation interfere with their budding feelings?? Well, you will have to read this novel, to find out how the relationships resolve. I have enjoyed all of Amy Clipston's stories and this is another that I will highly recommend. Sit back and enjoy....you will be wanting more!

"The Farm Stand" presents readers with another story in the Amish Market series by Amy Clipston. In this installment, two young adults are attracted to each other, but receive pressure from family members to date others who are potential spouses. Salina and Will meet when Will purchases produce for his restaurant from Salina's farm stand. While they acknowledge their attraction, each of them is dating someone else. In addition, Salina is Amish and Will is Mennonite. The novel details how they resolve their dilemma.

Readers who enjoy sweet novel, without violence, swearing, or intimacy, will find this novel appealing. The Christian message, while overt, plays an integral role in the plot, and does not feel preachy or forced.

I received this novel from the publisher and from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The opinions expressed here are my own.

The Farm Stand by Amy Clipston is the second story in her Amish Marketplace Series. The story focuses on Salina, who owns the produce stand at the market. When Will Zimmerman comes into her booth to see if he can purchase produce for his restaurant, a friendship between them forms and steadily grows. However, they both are dating other people and she is Amish and he is Mennonite. They know that nothing can come of their friendship, but they don't seem to be able to stop visiting each other and learning more about one another. Salina is also upset because she feels that she doesn't live up to her family's expectations. As the Bishop's daughter, she has always had certain things that were expected and her older brother is the deacon, which only adds to the feelings that she has to be perfect for them. The story not only follows the love growing between Salina and Will, it also shows how important family is and how, with prayer, we can find God's calling for us. And, as an added bonus, we get to see more of Christiana and Jeff, who we met in the first book of the series! I really enjoyed this book, but of course, I love all of Amy Clipston's books! Heartwarming and full of love, it is definitely worth reading! So, go grab a copy today!

Amy Clipston is one of my favorite authors, and The Farm Stand is another perfect illustration as to why this is. This beautiful, heartwarming story showcases that when God is in control, nothing is truly ever impossible.

Readers first met Salina in the first book, The Bake Shop, and I couldn't wait to read more about her. Salina's been in a relationship for a year that was a highly encouraged choice by her parents, and she's not sure her heart is leading her down the same path anymore. She's struggling with wanting to be a daughter her parent's can be proud of, while still wanting to be able to make her own choices. When she meets Will, an on old order Mennonite gentlemen, at her stand at the marketplace, she's instantly smitten with him and the feeling appears to be mutual. Will owns a successful restaurant across the street from the marketplace, and soon becomes one of Salina' s best customers. Salina and Will continue to find themselves drawn to each other, but both are already in committed relationships, and don't want to hurt anyone they care about. Plus, the fact that they come from different religious backgrounds could make their being together an impossibility, even if they weren't already dating other people.

With beautiful storytelling, emotional moments, and heartfelt characterization, Amy Clipston weaves together a heartwarming read about the need for communication in a relationship, and the true importance of following God's plan, no matter how hard it appears to be to do so. Salina and Will's friendship is strengthened by the similar situations they are facing, and the fact that they feel no one else understands where they are coming from. It's easy to see how both Will and Salina felt pressured by family obligations, and felt guilty that their heart's didn't lead in the same direction that their family's expected them to.

While I read quite a bit of Amish fiction, Amy Clipston is truly my absolute favorite within this genre, and one of my favorites period. Her stories always speak of grace, and are packed with a powerful faith based message, and a focus on the importance of family. The Farm Stand may just be one of her best books to date, and I can wholeheartedly say that it's going to end up being one of the best books I end up reading this year. I truly can't wait to read the next book in this series, and highly recommend picking this one up.

Final Rating: 5/5

Amy Clipston writes a very wonderful story of love and acceptance. I loved this book! It was a great story of doing the right thing at the wrong time! Salina and Will are continuously getting themselves into that situation! They want to do what their families expect of them and make everyone else happy, but in the end they had to come to the decision that they needed to make themselves happy!

Salina's family wants what is best for her, but is it truly what is best for her and everyone involved? Will doesn't want to let anyone down or hurt anyone, but is he hurting himself in the decisions that he is making?

A wonderful read! I will truly read this charming story again and again!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher for my honest feedback.

The Farm Stand is the second book in the delightful "Amish Marketplace" series. In this installment, we get to know Salina, who has a much loved vegetable and produce stand in the local marketplace. Salina has a deep love for gardening and for sharing her produce with her customers. It is one faithful day when Will, the owner of a popular restaurant across from the marketplace, happens to come upon Salina's stand, where he not only falls in love with her produce, but with her as well. The problem? Both Salina and Will are dating someone else, whom all families involved, assume will marry.
The Farm Stand was a wonderfully heartwarming, fun and intoxicating read. I am a huge fan of Amy Clipston and embrace each of her new releases with such relish. The Farm Stand made me smile, ache, yearn and fall within the minds and hearts of each character. I was truly captivated from the first page to the last.

There were a few things that I enjoyed and a few things in here that I kind of disliked but it really was a good story. I feel satisfied after reading a story like this and this is why I love Amish Genre.
First off, let's just say that this book really made me drool making me want some more Amish cooking. They're such awesome cooks! plus, there's nothing like home grown tomatoes. Yummy!!
I hope after this virus is gone I can get some more good food from the Amish. They really are a neat group of people. I think their way of life is interesting but I don't think I could do without air conditioning. I love how they keep things simple. Maybe that's what the Lord is trying to teach us during this pandemic. He's trying to open our eyes and get us to come to HIm while we still can.
There's some beautiful messages of faith in this book. One this one: God does have a plan for each and every one of us. In His own timing of course. Only He can see the whole picture.
The things that I didn't enjoy were the pushing o two certain people. Yes, I know they wanted the best for them but I really think that is wrong on so many accounts. It's no wonder she didn't want to confide in them I feel like if God wanted these couples together He'd have made it happen. It's not up to us to decide. And the heart does strange things I might add.
.Also comparing two people is wrong. I didn't like that either because there are no two people alike. Not even twins. It makes me upset because that's what happened to my husband with his mom. He doesn't say it in so many words but I know he's jealous and that's definitely not a good thing.
Secrets eventually come out in the wash as they say. To my idea, it's always best to tell the Truth to someone. Even if it means hurting them. It will make you feel better and probably the other person too. I know it has me at times.
I was delighted to find out that there was a second book to this series. I feel that this one is better than the first!
I gave this book a 5 star rating because I love Amy's books and of course I'm never disappointed in them either! Her writing is fabulous! Plus of course I love learning the difference between Amish and Mennonites.
I highly recommend this book. It is too good to put down!
My thanks to Netgalley for a complimentary copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.

This is a new twist for an Amish fiction story. Salina is an Old Order Amish woman who has a farm stand at the local “market” where she sells the fruit and vegetables from her garden. Will, the owner of a restaurant across the street discovers her produce and starts buying large quantities of it to feature in his restaurant. Here’s the rub: Will is a Mennonite and has a full time girlfriend but her is attracted to Salina. Salina is being pressured by her father, the Bishop, to marry an old friend. Salina is also attracted to Will. It makes for interesting reading.

I like the way this author writes and the characters in her books are all people you would like to be friends with. I recommend this book to all who like Amish fiction.

I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

This is yet another amazing book by Amy Clipston! She sticks with the main characters and you can easily stay with the story line. I love how each of her books does this for consistency. If you haven’t read Amy’s novels, you definitely should!

Amy Clipston is one of my all-time favorite authors. When I see her name on a book, I always know it will be a great one! Every book of hers I have ever read has been great!! In this book, The Farm Stand, (which I love the name of) two people, Salina & Will, are both in relationships with other people but are both questioning where these relationships are going. Will has a girlfriend, Caroline, & Salina has a boyfriend, Josiah.

Salina grow her own produce and she sells her produce at the Farm Stand which is where she meets Will. The Farm Stand is where Salina and her cousins sell what they make and grow. Will is a chef & owner of the local restaurant & buys Salina's produce to use at his restaurant. Through their weekly meeting of buying the produce, their friendship grows and evolves.

I highly recommend this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Zondervan through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Another installment in Amy Clipston’s Amish Market series, focuses on Salina Petersheim, the Amish owner of the produce stand and Will Zimmerman, a Mennonite owner of the restaurant across the street from the Amish Market.

Salina has been dating Josiah for over a year, but no marriage proposal has been done yet.
Will has been with his girlfriend, Carolyn, for over 3 years. She is very anxious for him to propose and continually tells him she will always wait for him.

Will wants to expand the fresh produce in his restaurant, and after using some of her produce and seeing how much his customers like it, asks Salina to provide the produce with weekly deliveries. The more time they spend with each other, the more attracted they are to one another. Each feel that their loyalty should be to their respective “loves”, as well as their families originally matched each of them up and who are constantly encouraging them to get married.

Each still doesn’t feel ready to get married and has doubts. As their friendship grows closer, they realize they need to take control of their own lives, however aren’t sure how that will happen.

As they each pray to God to lead them in the direction of their lives, they see how love, disappointment, forgiveness will play a part in their relationships to their family, friends, and each other.

I highly recommend this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Zondervan through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Farm Stand was so emotionally written that I felt what the characters were going through. The story is so well written, that the reader knows what the characters are feeling and where their thoughts are directing them. I value that some Amish words have been explained and the family characters at the beginning of the book and discussion questions at the end. Salina and Josiah, Will and Christiana both couples are in a rut. They are in a relationship that is going nowhere at all, not really admitting to themselves that the relationship is not developing towards marriage. Salina and Will meet at her farm stand which is the beginning of their friendship. As time goes by they notice little things that are bringing them closer together. Both couples need to work out on the meaning behind their feelings and where they are being directed by God.

"The Farm Stand" by Amy Clipston is yet another fantastic book to add to Amish fiction. The main character, Salina, is known to be the produce queen of her community. She has been dating Josiah for a while, however, she doesn't feel "the spark". Salina is approached by a Mennonite chef, Will, who wants to use her produce in his kitchen. A friendship and business alliance grows, and so do feelings.
