Wild Hare is an unconventional story. The time is 2032 and the setting is northern Wisconsin. Bobby owns the Secret Lake Resort. He's half human and half forest spirit from the Wild Hare Clan.. He has some fairy abilities inherited from his mother but uses them only when absolutely necessary.

The characters are believable, even the fairies, as they go about their daily lives. The plot held my interest as the militia tried to rule everything. Those who stepped outside their ridiculous rules were jailed and fined an exorbitant amount of money each day they were in jail. Bobby feels responsible to help his friend Arne who was arrested for unpaid traffic fines. How he gathers the money is pure fairy ability.

I received an electronic copy of Wild Hare from Who Chains You Publishing through NetGalley. The opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Good but Disappointing.

The blurb to this story had me all excited but the actual story was a let down. It was a good story line but it didn’t scream at me like the blurb did.
I think this book would be better suited for someone else, I did enjoy parts of it but it kinda fell flat when it came down to it.
Thank you to Netgalley/Laura Koerber/BookBuzz for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
