Wonderful book to start your day and connect with your spirituality. Each day has a bible verse, a reading and a prayer. Sometimes we need a little help in forming our thoughts and words to our Heavenly Father, and this book will help you with that if and when you need it. This devotional book contains a daily suggestion on how to make your prayer life more meaningful. The first several days devotionals break down the Lord's Prayer, line by line. Then each day is a gift of what prayer is or can be. Each day's offering is short enough to read in several minutes, but powerful enough to make the reader think about how their prayers more relevant. Each day starts with a Bible verse followed by a short message and ending with a prayer. The text is not preachy, but gives plausible suggestions. I know I have grown in my Christian life by using this book.
