Bruno is trying, he really is! He’s taken a job as a court bailiff, so he can have regular hours and take care of his teenage daughter. But bad guys change his career path when a violent criminal involves his daughter in a plot to escape. No holds barred as  Bruno uses any means possible to catch the bad guy. Non-stop action bound to offend the squeamish and politically correct.

“The Heartless” grabbed me from the start.  I couldn’t put it down and finished it in less than a day.  I have not read any of the other Bruno Johnson series and I didn’t feel lost at any point.  I will seek out the other six books in the series because I enjoyed this one so much..  A well written, fast paced, action packed book.
