An interesting compilation of three stories told by three separate authors. Each describing different meanings of what home can be. Great beach read or a weekend piece of “mind candy”!

No particular stand-outs in this group of three stories. This was a fairly good collection of stories by the three authors. Admittedly, I was not wowed by any of them. I generally enjoy Kauffman and Michaels novellas, but I just wasn't blown away by this collection.

This weekend is a good time for ‘Home Sweet Home’.Its a book of short stories as follows:
1.#Fern Michaels ‘Threes a Crowd
2.#Donna Kauffman ‘New Beginnings In Blue Hollow Falls
3.#Melissa Storm ‘Bring Me Home’
They all focus on family, friendship and love. It’s nice to finish a book and feel good.Plus if
it’s a new Author this is the most wonderful way to be introduced.
Thank you,

Samantha lives in Miami Florida and is being promoted to a senior position. She is thirty years old and single. It's three years later and Samantha is chief senior international correspondent. She has been covering stories in Afghanistan and glad to be home. Samantha has a eight month old daughter Caroline.Carolines father is Italian. I was bored with the dialogue between ex roomate Maria. I liked Samantha but wasn't interested in the story. I didn't like keeping Caroline's father a mystery.

1 book with 3 different stories by different authors. Loved them all.

Story 1 is by Fern Michaels and about an overseas reporter who comes home with baby in tow. Her parents didn't even know she was pregnant.

Story 2 is by Donna Kaufmann and a second chance romance

story 3 is by Melissa Storm and about a woman taking care of her bedridden father and things she has found out about.

I received this from NetGalley for a review.

I always love to read Fern Michaels' books and stories. And this one didn't disappoint either! (I only am sad that it was short since it was with two other stories.) The benefit of a book like this is you get to read two other authors that might be new to you, like they are to me. Overall, I enjoyed all three and will look for their books in the future too!

Home Sweet Home is comprised of three stories authored by Fern Michaels, Donna Kauffman and Melissa Storm. They are stories which discuss a mother’s embrace, being back home, love, family and friendship. The descriptions of the stories are below. I have always enjoyed reading these authors and the stories end all too soon. Thank you to Net Galley for an advance reader copy for review.
THREE’S A CROWD * Fern Michaels
This Mother’s Day will be the first in three years that Samantha Stewart has spent with her parents. And she’s bringing a very special gift—the baby granddaughter they’ve never met. Sam’s work as an overseas reporter was exhilarating and dangerous. Now she’s seeking stability for little Caroline—and answers for herself—and finding them in a homecoming full of surprises . . .

NEW BEGINNINGS IN BLUE HOLLOW FALLS * Donna Kauffman
The moment she set foot in Blue Hollow Falls, Dubliner Katie MacMillan felt right at home. Back to help with her sister’s pregnancy, she’s contemplating her own future, especially when she confronts Declan MacGregor, her childhood tormentor and first crush. This Blue Ridge town was supposed to be a new beginning, but can it also be the setting for a second chance?

BRING ME HOME * Melissa Storm
For Hazel Long, spending time with her bedridden father is bittersweet. There’s comfort in the friendship offered by other hospital visitors—and the kindness of a handsome male nurse. And when Hazel’s father begins to tell her the story of the mother she barely knew, it’s an unexpected chance to bond, and a lesson in making the most of each new day.

Three of my favorite authors come together to write great short stories about love and family and what it means to be home. I really enjoyed reading each short tale and I believe fans and newbies alike will like them as well. I just wish each story was longer.

Three short stories by three great authors. The theme of love and sacrifice gives these stories special meanings, and make this collection an enjoyable one to read. Wonderful characters and great settings add to the stories. This collection is perfect for when you need some thing shorter, lighter, and heart-touching to read.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This is a Mother's Day tribute with three Short stories. Fern Michaels has contributed Three's a Crowd as a woman returns to her parents home with a baby they didn't know was coming. book 2 is Donna Kauffman's, New Beginnings in Blue Hollow Falls. It is a continuation of her series with Katie and Declan's story. Melissa Storm gives us Bring Me Home , with Hazel adjusting to her Dad's terminal cancer diagnosis. All three are good stories but I think I liked Bring Me home the best. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

There are three stories in this book, all of which center on a secret or secrets that that are revealed. In the first, after time away in war-torn locales, war correspondent Samantha Stewart has returned to her family home—with an unexpected and not-previously-revealed young daughter. Her parents are naturally surprised, but almost immediately fall under the spell of their new granddaughter. Who can resist a baby? As the story progresses, we learn more about the time Sam spent away, but she refuses to discuss little Caroline’s father and the circumstances of her birth. Finally, a bouquet of flowers upsets her so much that the story begins to come out, and her secret is no more. Next, we are transported to Blue Hallow Falls, where Dubliner Katie MacMillan has returned to help out during the final days of her sister’s troubled pregnancy. Little does she know that Declan MacGregor, her first crush and childhood tease, has also returned to Blue Hollow Falls. Katie knows she holds a secret about Declan, as he holds one about her. What happens when these two, with their secrets, finally figure out what is going on? In the third story, Hazel Long, struggling to come to grips with the fact that her beloved father, who raised he alone after her mother’s early death, is dying, begins to learn secrets her father has kept for years and years, and everything she thought or believed is thrown into a tizzy.

These stories were okay. In the first, I found the ending totally unbelievable, I felt the author suddenly realized she had to wind things up, without any ending in mind, and just sort of threw in the first idea that came into mind, though it was totally unbelievable. The story was pretty good and interesting, until the ending, which spoiled it for me. In the second, I figured out what was going on almost from the start and how things would end. Nice romance. The third story was different but satisfying. The best of the group, in my opinion. Like happens in real life, there are memories of events and people, which usually become somewhat exaggerated over time, did not always happen the way we were told or remembered they did, come out. I was interesting to watch how things change for Hazel, and how she reacts, as well as watching the romance angle the author threw in. I think these are stories worth reading as well as interesting to watch the turn of events. I received this form NetGalley to read and review.

I am not normally a fan of short story collections, but because Home Sweet Home contained a short bu Fern Michaels, I agreed to read it. I was not a fan of this collection, even the Michaels' story. The stories all seemed to be based on other stories so if you are not a reader of the other authors, you feel lost. In THREE’S A CROWD by Fern Michaels, Samantha Stewart has been a foreign corespondent and has been working overseas for the last three years. She comes home to see her parents and surprises them with an 8 month old baby. She reveals little about the father until the end of the story when they are magically reunited. In my opinion, the story ended abruptly. In NEW BEGINNINGS IN BLUE HOLLOW FALLS by Donna Kauffman, Katie MacMillan is back in Blue Hollow Falls to help with her sister’s pregnancy. She ends up confronting Declan MacGregor, her childhood crush. Magically they end up reuniting. I am sure there are other Blue Hollow Falls stories because this one leads you to believe that. In BRING ME HOME by Melissa Storm, Hazel Long is spending time with her dying father. She makes friends with others dealing with family members of cancer patients as well as a cancer nurse. Hazel’s father tells her the story of the mother she barely knew. Hazel and the nurse become a couple. All of these stories, in my opinion, share weak story development.

While these stories were written by three separate, distinct writers, there was an underlying thread of love & sacrifice that ran through them. The heroine in each story finds her true love & her way. Each story is written in that authors’ style & touched my emotions in different ways. If you never read anything by these authors, this will truly give you a good introduction to them & their way of writing.

Home Sweet Home was an enjoyable read. The three stories relate to home and homecoming. I enjoyed all three stories but I loved Donna Kauffman entry the most. It's part of her series, I enjoyed and recommend this book.

Really enjoyed all 3 of these stories. All of these Authors have different writting styles but I enjoyed the variety. My favorite of this series was Donna Kauffmans story as I really enjoy her Blue Hallow Falls Series.
I would definately recommend this series.
