Three short stories about falling in love. Sweet, clean romances. I enjoyed them all. My only complaint is that I wish that they were longer.

Enjoyed these three books in one. I thought the first two books were a little rushed. I was just starting to get into the stories and they seemed like they ended rather abruptly. The last book was very good and the characters were well developed. My only suggestion would to put more content into the first and second books. Thanks for the opportunity to read these.

Blue Hollow Falls: New Beginnings by Donna Kauffman

Romance and second chances make a great story especially with Blue Hollow Falls as the backdrop!
Oh my, Donna Kauffman takes everyone back to Blue Hollow Falls for another love story with a very happy ending.
Katie was called in to Blue Hollow Falls to help her very pregnant sister Pippa and
brother-in-law Seth and with the onslaught of visitors, her arrival was right on time.
Katie and Declan, after years apart, reawaken those feelings together and a lovely story it is.
In hopes we do not leave Blue Hollow Falls any time soon.

4 - "I’m exactly where I want to be…" Stars!

Review for ~ New Beginnings in Blue Hollow Falls by Donna Kauffman ~ only.

I love the little vignettes we get with side characters that take me back to BHF, I love the place, the people and everything Donna has shared with her readers about it so far. We get to catch up with Seth & Pippa as well as Moira and Hudson as Katie and Declan’s reconnection plays out.

Ten years, five months, two weeks and four days…

That is how long it has been since Declan has set eyes on the love of his life Katie (not that he has been counting or anything). They parted on a mixed message, and being young and inexperienced have let it keep them separate for the following decade. Now older and wiser they try communicating with each other directly for the first time about what happened and it would seem that both of them got completely the wrong end of the stick.

He was it for her… The one. Period. Full stop.

Loved it, a great little addition to the series, as well as an indication at the end, that the author is way from finished with giving us stories from it, which make me extremely happy.

"Something about this place..."

Description
What makes a place feel like home? A mother’s embrace, the warmth of new friendship, a sweet reunion—all can be found in these unforgettable stories . . .

My Review
Home Sweet Home is a culmination of three stories by Fern Michaels, Donna Kauffman, and Melissa Storm.

The first one "Three's A Crowd" shows Samantha bringing home a surprise. A new addition to the family. The next book - "New Beginnings in Blue Hollow Falls" is about Kate returning home to help her sister and the new baby. Love may be in the air for Kate in this book. Finally, book three "Bring Me Home" is about Hazel. This one is rather sad as her dad in the hospital begins to recount the story of her mother - a mother she did not know much about - as they grow closer together.

Nice cozy easy read stories that I can see being turned into Hallmark movies. This ARC was provided in exchange for my honest opinion. These three short stories are enjoyable. Definitely recommend it. I give this a 4 star.

This review is only for NEW BEGINNINGS IN BLUE HOLLOW FALLS by Donna Kauffman.

I love second chance romances. It has been more than 10 years since Katie and Declan last saw each other, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t thought about the other during their time apart. Katie believed Declan wasn’t interested in her all those years ago, only that couldn’t be further from the truth. This is a sweet romance with engaging characters and a guaranteed happily ever after.

NEW BEGINNINGS IN BLUE HOLLOW FALLS is a novella within the Blue Hollow Falls series but it can be read as a standalone. If you have read the other books in the series you will see familiar, beloved characters.

I initially wanted to read this because of the Donna Kauffman story in her Blue Hollow Falls series, one of my favourites, but I really enjoyed the Fern Michaels story too.

THREE'S A CROWD by Fern Michaels - 4 stars
This was about Samantha (former overseas reporter/Afghanistan etc.) and her baby daughter Caroline, who were finally coming home to the US and staying with Samantha's parents, who couldn't wait to see her after three years, but had no idea about the baby!

I'm not sure why she kept it such a secret from them, even though there were admittedly government sort of things going on in the background. I found the story very enjoyable, with an added bit of mystery about the baby's 'missing' Father, which eventually was revealed. The ending felt a little bit rushed to me, but it was a short story, but I really enjoyed the relationship between Sam and her parents, both of whom were great characters, especially her Mum!

NEW BEGINNINGS IN BLUE HOLLOW FALLS by Donna Kauffman - 5 stars
This story is the reason I read this anthology in the first place, as I am a big fan of the Blue Hollow Falls series and would highly recommend all of them. This time we're back with pregnant Pippa (Irish folk artist/now married and living in Blue Hollow Falls) and her sister Katie MacMillan, her PA and right hand person, who comes over from Dublin to help control the influx of family visitors (lots of!) in the last months of a difficult pregnancy.

Once there Katie realises that Declan (taken in as an honorary family member from a very young age / Katie's first and only love) has also moved there. They've avoided each other for 10 years but can no longer do that as they're now both living in Blue Hollow Falls. Of course they eventually resolve their issues and there is a really lovely ending. I just love this series, the characters are fabulous and you want them all to be your friends!

BRING ME HOME by Melissa Storm - Didn't Read
I must admit I'd never heard of Melissa Storm before, and even though I started the story it wasn't really my sort of thing (a story about a woman's Dad dying of cancer) so I gave it a miss. After the other two stories in this anthology I didn't think this one was really the right one to end it, it didn't really fit with the other two more upbeat stories, which was a shame. But I'm sure other people like her work and enjoyed it, just not for me.

All three stories were great however the first story is my favorite. Mother’s Day will never be the same. As Samantha travels back home from an overseas job assignment. Only she’s bringing a huge surprise! I was so intrigued and wondered how her parents were going to react. Also when the roses show up. Is it a sign? Is a stalker watching Sam and her family? I loved this story.

This is a book with three short stories by some famous authors. I enjoyed the first two, but was not a fan of the last one. They're all short , quick reads and I'd say it's worth reading.

I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions

Three of my favorite women!

Fern Michaels: THREE'S A CROWD  has Samantha Stewart coming home with more than she left with. An overseas reporter who hasn't been home in years is bringing with her a huge surprise for her mom and dad. A grandchild! But the how and the when and the why are complicated. A nice story of what home is and who it is.

Donna Kauffman: NEW BEGINNINGS IN BLUE HOLLOW FALLS has our Katie MacMillan back in Blue Hollow Falls to help her sister get ready to have her baby. What no one knows is she is staying. Or she was until she found out her biggest crush is in town and it looks like she may get a second chance at love while Declan finds a home. Beautiful. I am a big fan of Blue Hollow Falls and all the folks who live there!

Melissa Storm: BRING ME HOME  Hazel Long is spending time with her father. He is bedridden and the time they spend is sad and happy. The people at the hospital are kind and friendly. Especially one of the male nurses. Hazel's dad begins telling her about her mother. A mother Hazel didn't really know. As they grow closer she finds hope and a bond. And maybe a bit about making every day count.

I enjoy it when my favorite authors get together and tell a few short stories for us while we linger pitifully awaiting their next full-length book.

Romance

Thank you to Net Galley and Kensington Books for the ARC of this book. To be honest, I rarely read three-in- 0ne books. But after seeing that this was a romance and written by some of the best authors around, I relented.
All three novellas are very good! It was nice to have a short story to read when I didn't have time for a full novel. I recommend this book highly.

Outstanding and wonderful anthology by three long-standing authors. Each novella is based upon motherhood. A good and fast read. Definitely worth picking up.

Home Sweet Home by Fern Michaels; Donna Kauffman; Melissa Storm
Like that this anthology contains three different stories from 3 of my favorite authors with one theme: going home.
Other works by the authors are listed at the very start of the book.
.
Three's A Crowd by Fern Michaels
Starts with Samantha and she had left her girlfriends shared apartment to head overseas to be a new reporter.
Years later she's on her way back to the states, her parents think they will stay with her but she has some things she needs to tell them. She first meets up with her girlfriend and they catch up but there are some secrets she can't even tell her about...
It's hard to go back to open up to your parents when they want all the details...
She needs to be strong and get on with her life...Like how they spend their time for the first mothers day spa experience and getting to know one another again.
Mystery really starts and things get scary when she receives flowers, nobody knows where she is at....
Her mother, the librarian and her father, the cop help her solve who is involved and they have a picture...
Very short ending, very fast...
.
Blue Hollow Falls New Beginnings by Donna Kauffman
Katie is starting over at home now that she's returned from overseas. Her sister is home also, pregnant with twins and just announced it...
Katie's old boyfriend is nearby also, Declan and she knows she would just need to see him once and she'd fall all over him again...
Story also follows Declan and his photography, career and loves what he captures...
He had heard things from her he never should've heard at all...
Lots of characters and at times it's hard to keep them straight. This is the first book in the series I've read.

BRING ME HOME by Melissa Storm
Hazel is an interior designer and she learns from her father of his cancer. She helps him at the hospital with the chemo as they remember stories of her mother that they had lost when she was just a toddler.
He soon refuses chemo and just wants to be home where they lived and it gives them time to really talk about the hard subjects.
She learns more about mother and the cancer club of women she had met and are helping as they are going through the same thing
but her father just wants her to head to work...She also learns of his affair.
Hard subject and she's mad at her mother for dying and now her father...
Quick ending.
Received this review copy from Kensington Books via Zebra via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

This is a very well written collection of novellas. Each story is the perfect length when you don't have time for a full novel. A wonderful collection of heartwarming stories that you hate to see end. Thank you Kensington Books/Zebra via Netgalley for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

Three novellas about homecomings, reconnecting with family and finding love, all from established authors that always deliver quality storytelling.

Three's a Crowd by Fern Michaels
Samantha returns home to her parents with the granddaughter that they've never met and didn't know about. Her relationship with her parents is strained, and the story shows how they get reacquainted after all this time and secrecy.

New Beginnings in Blue Hollow Falls by Donna Kauffman
Two large families are brought together anticipating the birth of the newest member of their joined family. And adopted brother and youngest sister have stayed apart for years even though they felt that they were destined to be together, but couldn't. Very sweet story and my favorite of the three. I'll go track down the other Blue Hollow Falls stories.

Bring Me Home by Melissa Storm
Primarily the story of Hazel's relationship with her dying father, with a little romance for Hazel thrown in. Touching and very emotional.

Three heartwarming, emotional reads.

New Beginnings in Blue Hollow Falls is the latest segment in Donna Kauffman’s Blue Hollow Falls series. I loved the story of Katie & Declan. While this segment is part of a series this novella can easily stand alone. I was drawn in to this story full of laughter, tears, confusion, love, understanding and second chances. Donna Kauffman’s characters are so wonderfully charming and have such depth that you feel like you know them. Each story in the series focuses on a different character in Blue Hollow Falls.

The story is set in Kentucky's Blue Ridge Mountains as is the rest of the series. Blue Hollow Falls is the best of small towns and has a wonderful and beautiful setting thanks to Donna Kauffman’s artistry. Every time I read one of her Blue Hollow Falls novels it is like running into old friends.

I had so eagerly anticipated this next Blue Hollow Falls story and it did not disappoint. It was fun being back in this wonderful world of Blue Hollow Falls. I can’t wait to see what Donna has up her sleeve next. Well done!

I would like to thank the publisher, Donna Kauffman and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
