I just reviewed From Individual to Empire by Laura Bull. #FromIndividualtoEmpire #NetGalley
[NetGalley URL] I found the book to be more of a self help fluff piece. I felt most of the book was steering you in, work hard and the riches will come.

The author had success at Sony at such a young age, so this book is written by someone that knows the value of branding and how it can assist in making your business unforgettable. The resources and exercises she offers, along with real examples from politics and pop culture make this a must read for anyone that has a business and wants to stand out.

An insightful look into the world of brand marketing. The author harnesses their experience within the music industry and applies it to modern day marketing. It was clear and easy to follow. The advice given is not new information but a timely reminder of why and how a brand can succeed. It can be applied to small businesses, large corporations or influencers on social media. Succinct in conclusion, talent and passion are important but effort and authenticity is key to long term success.

From Individual to Empire is an easy and informative read, with Laura Bull using real-world examples taken from her own career working with some of the mega influencers of the music industry.

Laura Bull takes us from concept to creation and provides easy, actionable advice and tips to assist with the promotion and growth of whatever type of brand the reader is hoping to build.

I particularly liked the additional resources provided by the author via her website, which work in tandem with the information provided within From Individual to Empire.

This book is recommended to anyone who is interested in marketing or brand creation.

If you're looking to understand how to build, boost and sustain a brand- then this book would come in handy. It's the age of Influencers on social media and there are chapters dedicated to that and marketing herein which I found quite interesting to read. I love how the author expounded on content creation and building communities- it's something I could relate to.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.
