Even though this is a work of fiction, Behind the Locked Door is a lot like a true story of possibilities. Written 50 years after his brother's death, Jones explores what may have happened if his brother had been given access to alternative treatments. The novel is beautifully written and includes the fantastical and spiritual realms. It reminder me of a love letter written to the author's best friend.
