The book seems to be for people that have mild anxiety and not those with people with debilitating anxiety due to trauma. The symptoms are much worse for someone who has been through these experiences and even something as simple as taking an exam for a class can overwhelm them. And let's forget the environmental warnings, threats of global war, and just the daily news is enough to make the average person anxious. I didn't find the book very helpful. |

This is an excellent workbook and resource for people dealing with anxiety and also for professionals who work with people struggling with anxiety. I am really excited to order this resource for our school to use with some students who could really benefit from these techniques and exercises throughout the workbook. It is extremely thorough in the resources provided with so many options. I really like how they started with the few case study examples and linked back to these people throughout the workbook. This could help those working through the book in seeing themselves in what others are going through and might give them some insight into applying these skills to their own needs. The only thing I find difficult with workbooks like these is being able to complete some of the techniques while following along with a book. It doesn't really work if you want to do it on your own and need to read but also have your eyes closed. Perhaps there could be a website linked with audio files. This would also make the resource more accessible to people with different learning styles and needs. |

i wouldn't mind reading this in the print version because there's exercises in them and it doesn't show them much in the kindle version. Thank you netgalley, the author, and publishers for giving me a chance to read this |

Thanks to Netgalley for the arc in exchange for an honest review. I deal with anxiety and am excited to start utilizing these books. I’ve read through most of it and found a lot I can relate to. Will be diving into the exercises soon. |

To be fair, I skimmed this to see if it would add to the therapy toolbox of skills my own therapist gave me for dealing with my anxiety. While it didn't add anything new, it does follow most of the same processes my therapist used in working with me. An excellent resource for someone who is trying to maintain their coping skill tool box during the breaks from therapy, or after therapy ends. |

This book is full of useful tips on how to combat anxiety. The book helps the reader to outline realistic goals and gives rationale to their exercises. The layout of the book is wonderful and I will definitely be returning to this book in the future to continue the practice of releasing anxiety. |

Easy to follow along CBT skills with applicable worksheets-- will be great in conjunction with therapy! |

This is a great workbook: there is a lot of focus here on guiding the reader to identify and analyze the aspects of how their anxiety manifests, explained clearly and concisely. Helpful examples of situations are included throughout and the book has an encouraging and empathetic tone. I'm sure that this will be an incredibly helpful resource for many. |

I have struggled with anxiety for most of my life and was skeptical about yet another book on anxiety. The worksheets in this book are amazing and my skepticism was quickly pushed away. I feel that I now understand what events will trigger an anxiety attack and feel prepared to work on those issues. This workbook really made me examine my emotions and has helped me tremendously! I highly recommend it! |

I absolutely love this workbook! I’ve experienced Anxiety since I was a kid and it comes and goes at times but I’ve never been able to look at something like this workbook to help me determine how to get through it and see triggers. I’m going to buy this I paperback so that I can write in it! I highly recommend this for anyone who is or has struggled with Anxiety. *Thank you Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion! |

I have only read a few self help books for Anxiety, one of the things i loved about this one was the examples for writing in the area's we need to write in. I myself have a hard time figuring out what should be put down and i am happy to have the help in this book. |

This book did help me better understand my anxiety and the triggers, plus help me cope better with anxiety. It is not as personal of a read then I would of liked but was very useful and informative either way... Also has awesome work sheets to reflect and grow with! As well as links to more worksheets you can print out or use as reference! There are 7 sections to work through each having their own benefits. |

This book isn't anything new or special when it comes to helping or controlling anxiety and CBT. However, I think this information is helpful for someone who is new to trying to get a handle on their anxiety and learn about CBT. This is something I would recommend to those who I've just described and feel it has some helpful tools, tips, and perspective. |
