An entertaining read that starts with a lot of attraction and innuendo, but the relationship grows into a lot more.

I found myself liking most the moments when Rose and Owen supported and encouraged each other. Even though they worked for competing companies, it was easy to see their connection and how good they were for each other. The banter was fun and there were some great moments between them that made me laugh.

This was not my favorite book in this series. This book was still a good read, but I liked the other ones better. I like Rebecca Brook's books, so I can't wait for the next one!

you wouldn't think that the wrong bed conceit could endure through a whole series, but it's seriously working for rebecca brooks. in wrong bed, right man we find rose campbell, who we've met in prior books in this series, picking up the pieces of her life after she caught her fiancé cheating on her. when she first meets owen crowley, he's meant to be moving her grandmother's bed and old furniture out of the apartment she shared with her ex. when he realizes what a jerk the guy is he tears up the check and agrees to help her out.

and then he manages to hit on her in a non-creepy way. this would only ever work in a romance novel, because in real life this could never happen. nor would she be working at her ex's ikea-like furniture business who has targeted ads on the small furniture businesses in the area. that seems like a terrible use of advertising money.

but those believability issues aside, the heart of this story is the connection between rose and owen, and it really, really works. these two just work in bed and out of it. the black moment scene, you feel so strongly for both these characters because they are both in the right and wrong. and when he finally comes through on his grand gesture, she comes through with one of her own. on her terms. and it really works for them as a couple.

i think this is my favorite so far in the series. but i'm intrigued about what might be next for amanda, who pines for her co-worker, but part of me hopes to see something a little different for her.

I give this book 3,5 stars.

I liked this book but had a little trouble connecting to the characters in the beginning. Owen was talking and thinking a lot about sex around Rose and Rose thought Owen was sexy but she was a good girl and would never be with a guy who wore boots, jeans and t-shirts and had facial hair.
I know it was a story about them overcoming their differences and their insecurities but the beginning was a little to much for me.

The way they met was pretty funny though and I really liked their chemistry later on but also their struggle with their competing jobs (he owns his own business making furniture from scratch and she works as an advertising assistant at a big furniture firm/business). I really think that their conflict at the end has merit because it makes them realize how to be together even though they are so different.
His groveling was great and her realization at the end was amazing too.

They really fit together in spite of their differences and you can’t help falling for them on the roof of Owens business.

I can recommend this book.

I got this book from Entangled Publishing and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Unfortunately, despite the excellent premise this one fell flat for me. I liked the meet cute, with Rose finding Owen, furniture maker/restorer, sleeping in her bed, the one her dastardly ex is trying to sell under her nose, but the conflict about him being a struggling, independent craftsman versus Rose being an office drone to an IKEA-esque company didn't really work for me. I hated that Owen embarrassed Rose at her work gala after she explicitly told him not to confront her cheating ex. Boundaries?

Both Rose and Owen had money struggles and I was always feeling worried about Rose. Yes, she works at Owen's "enemy" but she does also need to worry about her bills, her future, and shoot, health insurance. I'm glad it all worked out in the end, but me thinking about these things took me out of the story and I felt the ending was too neatly and perfectly wrapped up.

Also, if you find sex toys, even if it is just ropes/restraints, used by your ex with people other than yourself, wouldn't you throw them away? I didn't like that Owen introduced Rose to uber-light kink with restraints they found hidden in her bed, by her cheating ex.

I've enjoyed some of the other books in this series, this one just didn't quite work for me.

Thank you to the publisher for the ARC.

Wrong Bed, Right Man by Rebecca Brooks is book Three in the Accidental Love Series. This is the story of Owen Crowley and Rose Campbell. I did fell this could be a standalone book but there are previous characters that come back in this book. Rose just broke up with her cheating fiancé but now she wants to get her furniture back that means a lot to her. This leads her to meet Owen who is her complete opposite. But the sparks fly and they can't seem to ignore their growing feelings. This was a cute romance story.

this has a really charming set up, just like previous books in the series. Rose goes to retrieve the heirloom furniture from her ex-boyfriend's apartment. She walked in on him with another woman and fled the scene---only to find a man there claiming he bought the furniture on Craigslist. Owen and Rose strike up an affair, I did feel like the ex-boyfriend being Owen's business rival veered a little into cartoon villainy, but overall I enjoyed the book. I think Owen needed to grovel more at the end and he was a real jerk at their date.

I liked Rose and Owen, but I honestly didn’t love them. While I enjoy a good opposites attract story, I felt that Rose’s transition from prim “good girl” was rushed to have her keep up with the more worldly Owen. I enjoy a good double entendre as much as the next girl, but Rose made it awkward and not as funny as it might have been.
I’ve read and enjoyed other books by the author, but this one was not a favorite. Writing, plot and the unique meet-cute all won high points with me, but the main characters, especially Rose, just couldn’t hold my interest enough to be memorable.
My thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC, which I am reviewing honestly and voluntarily.

A happily ever after for two very ordinary characters. Owen first himself literally in bed with Rose, who works for the company trying to put him out of business. The story has some funny and steamy scenes. The characters are focused on their dreams and outcomes. Owen wants to defend Rose and bring her out of her stuck position. It’s a story about deciding what is going to work best for you and not necessarily what is perfect.

I have mixed feelings about this book. The writing flowed well and the main characters were mostly likable, but the events that made up the backbone of the story seemed farfetched and a bit flimsy. Living in a big city it's hard to visualize a big disposable furniture store competing directly and advertising specifically about an artisan furniture maker, yes they both sell furniture but they really tackle different markets of a large population. Then the ex-boyfriend is unexplainably spiteful and cruel, it makes him seem cartoonish. By the 70%, Owen (the her0), says something so personal and out of line about Rose to her ex in front of her coworkers that it just felt like a forced storyline. Why would anyone with any logic humiliate his girlfriend when his intent is to defend her? So, with a series of thin premises I had a hard time engaging in the story. I would try another book by this author with a different storyline.

Wrong Bed, Right Man is the third book in the Accidental Love series and tells the story of Rose and Owen. Even though this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.

It’s been a while since I read the second book in the Accidental Love series but I remember really liking that one so when I got the opportunity to read and review this book, I couldn’t say no! Luckily for me, every book can be read as a standalone, so I had no problems at all. When I started Wrong Bed, Right Man, I couldn’t stop reading. It was so addictive!

Wrong Bed, Right Man tells the story of Rose and Owen, they’re kind of enemies since Rose works for a company that is destroying Owen’s business, but they can’t help falling for each other. I really liked both characters because they were perfect for each other and I loved reading about them.

I really like that this book isn’t just about the romance, but also about loving your job and fighting for your job. I really liked Wrong Bed, Right Man and I cannot wait to read more books by Rebecca Brooks!

4.5/5*

This is the third book of the Wrong Bed (Accidental Love series) of Rebecca Brooks. And they are just real nice and cosy. The books can be read as a standalone, and they all start with the same subject: someone is lying in the wrong bed and then they end up together. Just cute and funny.
In this one it is Owen, who ends up in Rose's bed. Rose wants to get her grandmother's beautiful bed from her cheating ex-finance's house. Only to find out that Owen has just bought her bed, but fell asleep on it. Owen really needs the bed, to fix it up and sell it at a profit to pay for the medical bills of his ill father. But when finding out that Rose is actually the owner of the bed, he decides to help her move the bed.
Although Rose and Owen are total opposites, there is some simmering attraction between the both of them. And while they banter about everything, they can't help but end up on the same bed time and time again. But Rose works for the company of her ex and he is hell bend on putting Owen out of business...
Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Wrong Bed, Right Man is the third book in the Accidental Love series by Rebecca Brooks and is currently scheduled for release on February 17 2020. I have not read the previous books, and think each must be able to stand on its own.

Rose Campbell is determined to get her stuff from her cheating ex-fiancé’s apartment. There’s just one problem. A sexy stranger is sleeping in her bed. Work boots and scruff so aren’t her type––except when they’re on furniture maker Owen Crowley, who is funny, kind, and speaks his mind. The prim and proper Rose isn't the kind of woman Owen is usually interested in. But the more he gets to know her, the more intrigued he becomes. There’s passion underneath those stiff suits of hers that he can’t wait to explore. There’s no reason these two opposites can’t have some sexy fun, except that one thing. Rose works for the very people trying to destroy Owen’s business.

Wrong Bed, Right Man is a sweet contemporary romance with a few good twists and turns. Rose is doing her best to get on with life after years of conditioning to be the quiet good girl and never raise a fuss. However, after catching her fiance in the act of cheating she just wants to get through each day and get her furniture back. This leads to all sorts of adventures with Owen, who is trying to keep his business afloat and not take advantage of the innocent Rose. I really liked Owen, he is a guy with integrity and an intense work ethic but very little filter. I liked his father even more. Rose I liked to an extent, but was a little frustrated with her on occasion. I did not mind the prim and proper, but found her inability to stand up for herself to more bothersome to me than Owen's ability to ignore slights to her. She has a great, supportive group of friends but so little self esteem that it really took some of the fun out of the story for me. I did enjoy the resolution, and think parts of the story were brilliant, but was annoyed with Rose more often than not.

Wrong Bed, Right Man is a fun and steamy read.

Third in Rebecca Brooks's Accidental Love series, Wrong Bed, Right Man is an opposites attract romance between a marketing assistant at a corporate furniture retailer and an artisan furniture maker. They meet when Rose walks into her ex-fiancé's apartment to reclaim some of her stuff, including her grandmother's heirloom bed, and she finds Owen asleep on it. He's stopped by to pick up the furniture, since the crappy ex listed it on Craigslist and Owen fixes up old furniture for resale. (Thus the "wrong bed" part of the title.) When he rushes to jump off the bed, he hits a weak spot just right and breaks it. So then he fixes it for her and keeps finding reasons to see her again.

The conflict in the story comes from their competing jobs. Rose's employer, CUBE, is actively trying to crush businesses like Owen's. As is customary for Brooks, her characters have great physical chemistry and speak to each other like adults. However, Owen was an ass and I'm still mad at him for it. While he's initially respectful of Rose's career and encourages her to try for a promotion, when she takes him to a formal event, he publicly humiliates her by yelling at both of her bosses (one of whom is the ex-fiancé) and telling everyone that her ex cheated on her in her own bed. It's embarrassing and job-killing, but worse because she told him exactly what she needed and he promised he'd be the perfect date. Between that and his repeated insistence that people don't understand the value of a well-built piece of furniture, he comes off as a preachy twat and I wanted him to go sit in the grovel corner for way longer than he did.

For her part, Rose ends up quitting her job without much of a backup plan at all. Because passion etc. In the epilogue, it's clear that they're both fine, but after hearing her say over and over that not everyone can live in Owen's world--she has to live out in the world as it is--I was frustrated that she changed so much. I would've liked for her to have looked for jobs while still working at the one she wasn't passionate about... like the rest of us do.

In all, Wrong Bed, Right Man was a quick, fun read, but I got hung up on Owen's blowup. The book comes in at under 200 pages, so maybe with more time I would've felt like they had a solid enough foundation to weather that mistake.

We met Rose briefly in a previous book, although this book can be read as a stand alone. This is Rose and Owen's story.
I had a rough time with this one honestly. I really liked Owen. He was a standout character in the book, as was his Dad. I loved watching him work on furniture and the work he puts into it.
Rose was another story however. She was a little hard to like, she came off as weak and a little too flaky for me. Her inner dialogue didn't do a thing to help her character along.
She meets Owen when she goes to the apartment she shared with her ex to retrieve her beloved bed that was her grandmothers and a few other belongings. Owen thinks he's hit the lottery when he answers an ad on Craig's list and bought the bed cheap from the ex. When Owen tests out the bed he falls asleep and is found by Rose when she shows up. Antics ensue and the bed breaks and Owen promises to fix it and return the bed to Rose. Owen is a little disheartened by losing the bed, he's trying really hard to keep his Dad's woodworking business afloat. Rose works for a company that makes out of the box furnishings. Her ex is the son of the owner. Despite the break up, Rose still works there in her little cube as a numbers cruncher, she dreams of doing more, but isn't sure.
Rose lacks a backbone especially at work. She's a little better with her attraction to Owen and the feeling is mutual. Owen has put all this time and effort into the business and not in the dating world and Rose is the first woman to attract his attention. He certainly doesn't lack in the heat department.
Those scenes are well described throughout the story. When he and Rose have a falling out, will anything save their relationship? Good question. Feel free to read and find out what happens with them.

Wrong Bed, Right Man by Rebecca Brooks is an opposites-attract romance that is both fun and flirty. Get swept away with Rose and Owen as they start out as complete opposites but as the story progresses their attraction deepens. The characters are well-written, rich, vivid, and easy to relate to. A story that is sure to pull you in and stay with you long after reading. Brooks has written a lovely romance that is perfect for a quick romantic read that takes your breath away!.

Reed and Talia really burn up the pages in this story. When Reed inadvertently mistakes Talia for Stacey a woman who was helping them with a case, things heat up in more ways than one. When he suggests that she stay at his place until they get their suspect their bond continues to solidify bit Reed is having misgivings when it comes to a committed relationship thanks to his last one and Talia has her own baggage she is carrying around as well. Will they put aside their misgivings and look at what they have right in front of them before its too late? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Question of who is sleeping in Rose’s bed?

Rose Campbell wants her furniture that she inherited from her family back from her now ex-boyfriend’s apartment when she finds a stranger sleeping on it. Owen Crowley bought the furniture off of Craigslist from Jason because he could fix the furniture and sell it when he found out that the guy had no legal right to sell it.

Owen and Rose were attracted to each other but Rose had to sell him that she worked for the company that was trying to put him out of business. Owen loved making hand-made furniture that would last forever even though times were tough but Rose had to decide if she wanted to stay working where she was at or would love win.

I did not read the blurb... and that's all on me. I've read a book with the same title, and assumed it was more or less the same that's why I signed up to read this one...

The relationship was fast paced... imagine just hooking up with the guy who repaired your antique bed, who was hired by your ex-fiancé... I understand burning attraction but it was just too soon, in my own opinion... I was just basically skimming through the book... I don't mind cheesy, because I'm a cheesy person myself, but there are parts where I rolled my eyes and I don't know, I guess this book wasn't just for me.... The storyline about unexpected love is great and I've read tons of stories about it, but this one kind of lost it's momentum for me.... I feel bad, but it's the truth.
