This was such an interesting glimpse into a fascinating world!

While it seemed to be a bit of a whirlwind pace that left me needing to reread a few bits at the beginning, I'm thrilled with the level of world-building and can't wait to dive deeper into this story. I'm a fan of Maas' and I know this series isn't going to disappoint!

This is one of my most anticipated reads of 2020. I enjoyed the ACOTAR trilogy for the most part though I couldn't really get into Throne of Glass. Still, this book sounded absolutely amazing, and when I saw the chance to get an early glance into the story, I immediately downloaded it.

I'm definitely intrigued, planning to buy the book the day it releases, but I will say this excerpt was a little confusing. We are thrown instantly into the story, the world, and a LOT of information is just dumped to the point where I felt lost, confused, and a little frustrated by it all. There are a LOT of character names being thrown out too, and while I normally don't have any issues keeping up with a large cast of characters, this felt like too much too fast. Still, the world seems fascinating, exciting, and by the end of excerpt, I found myself still eager for more. Only one more month to go, and then the book will be in my hands!

I've had this preordered for a while but I couldn't help but take a peek and the excerpt, and I'm really intrigued by where the story's going to go! I haven't finished Maas's other series just yet, but I'm really looking forward to this. The world building that really starts kicking up in chapter three has me hooked, and waiting a month to receive the finished book is going to be a long wait to see what happens next!

I cannot wait to read more of this book. I can tell I will have to clear the weekend or plan on missing a lot of sleep. I have read all of Sarah Maas' books and have been eagerly and curiously waiting this one. I wondered what shifting to adult paranormal genre would mean. Well, there is still some intricate world-building. And this promised to be a lengthy book to get lost in. I anticipate the same cycle of growth that her other characters have gone through, and that growth usually happened through hardship. I can't wait to get to know Bryce better and be along for what promises to be an exciting, emotional ride!

Wow, I’m such a huge fan of this author, ACOTAR, and TOG are some of my favorite books. To be able to dive back into her world is such a good feeling. I really like Bryce and can’t wait to see what happens next, and Danika honestly reminds me of myself, in a good way. I can tell this is going to become one of my favorite books of 2020!

It took a little bit to get into, but man once you hit chapter 3 it sucks you in and doesn’t let you go. I need and want more. I crave it. Mrs. Maas does it again. Can not wait to read more.

I love both the Throne Of Glass and The Court Of Thorns And Rose's series by Sara j. Maas , so of course I wanted to read this one as well! This book exert was very different from her other books, I like the fact it has more of a supernatural theme going for it, with witches, vampires, and werewolves!! I'm interested in seeing where this book goes from here!! I will definitely be buying it when it is released!! I would highly recommend this book! I received an ARC expert in exchange for an honest review.

I will read anything Sarah J Maas puts out, and her first foray into adult fantasy is no different. Hooked right away and I can't wait to get a finished copy!

I wasn't sure whether to preorder this book or not. I enjoyed Maas' ACOTAR series (despite recognizing its many flaws), so I was reasonably excited about this one. After reading the excerpt, however, I can conclusively say that this book is not for me. Mostly because I don't care for paranormal romance / urban fantasy books which this one seems to be. Also because I was incredibly bored through the entire excerpt. I didn't care about any of the characters and was bombarded with far too much information that didn't make sense. It's decently written and I'm sure others will enjoy it but it's ultimately not for me.

Wow, that was super different than all Maas's previous books! I have no idea where this is going, but color me intrigued.

I have been highly anticipating this book since it was first announced. These first five chapters sucked me right in. Can’t wait to get my hands on the full book in March.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC of this beauty, and it was,,,everything. Fantastic. Phenomenal. Sarah J. Maas's best work yet. She's combined everything we loved from her previous series into one epic tome. If you love SJM, this is a must read. If you've been on the fence about her, this is a must read. If you haven't loved her works in the past, this is a must read. The best book I've ever read.

I have LOVED everything that Sarah J Maas has written and her "Court of Mist and Fury" is probably one of my favourite books ever. I am very excited to see what she does in the new series, especially since it is her first adult novel. Although this was just a preview, I love it so far and can't wait to find out what happens.
