Another one to add to your collection if you or someone you know loves Pusheen. Some recipes might be a little complicated, but again it's cute and is perfect for a coffee table book if you aren't trying out for the Great British Baking show.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Pusheen cat is back with his very own cookbook. Adorable with easy recipes.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I have been a Pusheen fan for a long time. I love that crazy and sweet cat. This book is to mark the 10th Anniversary. It is broken up into a five sections. I love baking and I have read through the recipes. I would to be able to make them like in the pictures. They are little pieces of art. I have not tried all of them yet but I want too. I enjoyed the Pusheen Butter Cookies which is the first recipe in the book. My aunt loves butter cookies so I had to try this recipe.

If you you’re a Pusheen fan and you love to bake, than there’s a good chance you will be interested in this book because it is all Pusheen baked goods. Split up by the type of baked good, you’ll find everything from adorable cookies to cakes and breakfast items. As a long time fan of Pusheen, I was super excited about this book and it did not disappoint me in any way.

Each recipe has a picture of the adorable finished item, clear baking instructions, and photos that accompany the steps based on its difficulty level and ease of decoration. I like that there’s extra pictures to show the steps as needed because sometimes you need a visual. I think the instructions are clear enough that even unexperienced bakers can easily follow along. It’s a great book to experiment with as beginner bakers become more experienced because even the difficult recipes have easy and detailed instructions.

Because each finished item is absolutely adorable, I think that many of them are great treats for kids. It reminds me of when my mom would make food in fun shapes and cute, decorative baked goods as treats when I was growing up. Anyone who likes to bake that also has kids who are Pusheen fans are bound to enjoy making these as treats for their kids. Some of the recipes would actually be fun to make as a family, like the Pusheen marshmallows.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book and look forward to making several of the recipes. They look great, sound tasty, and I’m bound to have fun making them since I love baking. I highly recommend this cookbook for anyone who is a Pusheen fan.

Cat lovers and Pusheen lovers, which is almost everyone, will love Let's Bake!: A Pusheen Cookbook, by Claire Belton and Susanne Ng. This is a delightful cookbook, with every recipe ending up looking like Pusheen. Although the main recipes are easy to follow, the detail in making the Pusheens is a lot of work and takes a lot of patience. Most are recipes to be saved for a rainy day project. The recipes are reminiscent of something you would find in Japan, and the attention to detail definitely has a Japanese slant.

The book includes step-by-step photographs to help bakers make picture-perfect baked goods. There are mostly sweet treats in the book, including desserts, cookies, cakes, pastries, and tarts, but there are a few savory dishes like Pusheen pizza and Pusheen pancakes. The recipes make small amounts, and it seems that only making a few when it’s quite time consuming to make them that making more wouldn’t take much more time, The book includes templates with different sizes and shapes of Pusheen, so bakers can get their creations exactly right. While the whole point in baking these adorable creations is to make them look like Pusheen, the recipes are good and easy to follow and will make mouthwatering treats whether or not they are decorated like the photos in the cookbook. Many of the recipes are unique and not ones found in most cookbooks.

Let’s Bake!: A Pusheen Cookbook is one for Pusheen aficionados who don’t have any problem spending time to make some of the cutest treats on the planet. Pusheen lovers will want to hone their artist skills to make their treats as cute as the ones in the book. Very fun!

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

I can't bake to save my life, BUT I really enjoy looking through these books and buying them for friends who CAN bake! Lol! This book was enjoyable. I loved the photos, artwork, and all the lovely, fun goodies! I wish I could make these tasty treats, but this type of baking is way to advanced for me.maybe a bud can bake some and share if I purchase the book for them! great book. Must have for fans of Pusheen.

This book was really cute...it's Pusheen, how could it now be 😻? However, the recipes and projects included were WAY too advanced for someone like me. Overall, it was still enjoyable to see project options for someone that DOES have more skill. 😊

Let's Bake!: A Pusheen Cookbook is an adorable and well curated selection of baked goodies which feature Pusheen, the cute tabby cat of internet and media fame. Due out 30th June 2020 from Simon & Schuster on their Gallery Books imprint, it's 180 pages and available in hardcover and ebook formats.

This is such an appealing and well made cookbook. I've literally never met anyone who doesn't love Pusheen. It's an admittedly niche book, but every one of the recipes would make a wonderful starting point for a wide variety of inspiration (I stuck with the recipes as written and they all worked perfectly). The recipes are arranged thematically: cookies & sweets, desserts, pastries, cakes, and breads and breakfast and there are 40 different ones by my count.

The recipes all have an introduction header with yields and information. The ingredients are listed bullet style in a sidebar. Measurements are given in US standard with metric measures in parentheses (yay!). Special tools and ingredients are also listed, along with yields and cooking directions. The ingredients are all easily sourced at any moderately well stocked grocery store. There is no index, but the expanded table of contents is well formatted and recipes are easy to find. The book does include an abbreviated glossary.

The entire feel of the book is cute, breezy, and sweetly upbeat. The recipes are written simply and clearly and the graphics, including the photographs, are clear and easy to understand. All of the recipes have finished serving photos and many of them have step by step tutorial process photos as well.

I'm often a little bit *meh* about strictly niche cookbooks, but this one is so full of appealing, tasty, and well developed recipes, that I'm making a big exception. This is a valuable cookbook for desserts and small bites which will actually get a lot of use in my kitchen.

Five stars.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

This book is beautiful! A great gift for people that love Pusheen. It has so many different Pusheen themed recipes that you can't choose just one. It's a great guide for kids birthday party if you're interested in Pusheen. The recipes require a lot of different baking tolls, shaped molds, lots of decoration tolls and of course a lot of time to dedicate to each little dessert. I would probably get it for baby shower or girl's birthday party.

This is a beautiful cookbook!

But the recipes look more complicated than expected. I think with some time I could pull off some of these recipes, but even the 'easy' section is a bit complex. That being said the results are beautiful! There are great pictures throughout the book of the finished product from pudding to pastries and pictures showing each step.

There's a variety of recipes and cute edible pusheens to look at!

This review is based on an ARC of Let's Bake which I received courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher.
This cookbook would be perfect for any Pusheen fan. I could see it being utilized for birthday or other theme parties. I love how every recipe had beautiful photographs to accompany it. However, if you are not a huge Pusheen fan (which I'm not), it gets to be a little overwhelming. Many of the recipes were quite intricate and required things that many people would not have on hand. They also often required special molds or baking tools that may require additional purchase. I personally will not be trying any of these recipes. That being said, if you really love Pusheen and baking, this may be the perfect book for you!

This is a very difficult book to rate, first of all. On one hand, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The photography is gorgeous, the art is precious, and the general layout is so visually appealing and interesting. The graphics design team knocked this one out of the park, if you ask me. Plus, I had no idea anyone could come up with so many Pusheen-themed recipes, but there are a lot in here! There are even templates in the back of the book that you can copy and use for decorating your foods.

On the other hand, this cookbook will probably only appeal to THE most extreme Pusheen fans, or maybe people who want to throw a Pusheen-themed birthday party, shower, etc. A lot of the recipes are intricate and/or require use of many different shaped molds and baking tools, many of which the average person probably won't have on hand. Because of that, I can't say this is a cookbook I'd really recommend to the average consumer. That said, if you really love Pusheen and baking, I'm sure this would be the perfect combo for you!
