I wanted to love this more than I did. It took me a long time to start reading it, but I had high hopes because of the apocalyptical nature. However, it mostly fell flat for me. I did not connect with the characters and that is important.

This was interesting! Definitely a unique story and unlike a lot of the near-future books out there.
