The 5 Minute Bible Study for Teen Girls is fun and simple way to help the young ladies in your life begin to spend time with the Lord on their own outside of family devotions or church. It is very nicely laid out with a Bible verse for them to read, main concepts for them to expound upon, a devotional to explain how the scriptures apply to her everyday life, and ends each devotion with a prayer. I believe this book would be excellent for encouraging a young lady's walk with the Lord and setting a good foundation for continued quiet time as they continue to grow and mature in the Lord. I also loved that it reminded young ladies of their worth in Jesus Christ - such an important thing! ***Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the digital ARC of this book. Another great book for teens. A beautiful resource to help them grow in their desire to study the Word of God. |
This devotional for teen girls os very nice and well organized. It's a great way to encourage teens to be closer to God. It starts with a scripture to read, then a key verse, a explanation to help then to understand the verse, how they can apply what they have just learnt to their lives and at the end there's a prayer. Definitely recommend it. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review |

The 5 Minute Bible Study for Teen Girls is a practical way to encourage teens to make spending time with God a priority. Organized with a scripture to read, then key concepts to understand/think about, a devotional to demonstrate how the passage applies in her own life, and finally a prayer, this book will encourage spiritual growth and an understanding of how God fits into the daily life of a teen. Most importantly, it shows teen girls their value in God’s eyes—a vital message in today’s world. Thanks go to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. |
I think this will appeal to teens quite well! The format was easy to digest and made for a quick swoop into The Word which was the main point here I believe. Between classes, or waiting for the bus, I could see teen girls thoroughly enjoying this one. The aesthetic was pretty too and while that isn't everything, it did make it much more appealing and more likely to be picked up. The subject matter was well done and I would absolutely gift this one. |
I really love the concept of this book. I think it is well suited to the targeted age range. I like the format with the 5 steps and I think the notion of the '5 minutes' will make this book more appealing to teens. I feel it will make them more likely to want to pick this up and read it by their own choice. Building an authentic relationship and experience, instead of feeling pressured or forced. |
